La experiencia en el hotel fue realmente buena. El tamaño de las habitaciones, las instalaciones como el gimnasio, la piscina, etc., y el bar estaban bien cuidados y cumplieron con mis expectativas. Muy recomendable.

The Junior Suite was wonderful, essentially a studio apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, large windows, a private balcony seating area and extensive shelf space. The bathroom was very modern with a very nice tall shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large, with a couch. Definitely a great place for both short and long stays. There were a few small inconveniences in the room, but nothing that affected our stay (water seemed to leak over the door of the shower onto the shower mat; toilet seat was very stiff and loud to open/close; closets were very wide but oddly short to accommodate extra drawers, so too small to hang dresses in full length; the automatic lighting inside the closets did not turn off correctly; and our key card stopped working in the middle of our stay and had to be fixed at the reception). The hotel is very close to a tram stop, so it's easy to get into the city center, and it's also very close to the Cultural Center. It is a bit more of a trek to walk into the city, but still possible in 20 minutes or so. The hotel is located on a small street off the main road and the sidewalk leading up to it is very narrow and in disrepair. You would not guess that the inside of the hotel is so sleek and modern based on the older surrounding area.

I recently stayed at the Sofia Novotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a busy day. The beds were perfect—not too firm and not too soft, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated just across the street from a shopping mall, which made it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. The only downside was the gym, which is quite small and lacks heavy free weights and a pull-up bar. While it’s fine for a basic workout, those looking for a more comprehensive fitness setup might be disappointed. All in all, Sofia Novotel is a great choice for its location, comfort, and service, but fitness enthusiasts might find the gym facilities limited. I would definitely stay here again!

Desde la llegada hasta que nos fuimos estuvimos encantados con todo, un trato muy correcto por parte del personal tanto de recepción como de restaurante, los servicios que ofrece el hotel son bastante variados y todos en perfectas condiciones, el desayuno muy variado y de calidad, la habitación muy bonita y con todos los detalles, la cama super cómoda y en general nos gustó todo. Un 10 para este hotel.

Limpieza, ubicación, confort, desayuno y equipamiento de la habitación convierten a este hotel en una excelente opción para descubrir la animada ciudad de Sofía. Cuatro estrellas equivalentes a los hoteles españoles de la misma categoría

Best 5 star property in Sofia hands down. .The room was spacious with contemporary and minimalist design but still very functional. There's even a divider between the bathroom to the rest of the room so it felt like staying in a junior suite instead. .The facilities were amazing, best indoor pool I've been to ever. It was fitted with all the aqua techs which provide so many massage options. There's also 2 types of saunas, a salt room, a steam room and even a ice tube filled with ice. .The food at the hotel restaurant was amazing .The service was so good because I was very frustrated and hangry as the QR code and the TV ordering system didn't work and I called the restaurant repeatedly and no one picked up. So I went down and spoke to Daria, who listened to my concerns and personally took me to the restaurant so that I can order something from the restaurant menu that I really wanted to take back to the room which is not supposed to be done. Diana from In Room Dining even came to deliver the food to my room for me, which actually wasn't her job. I felt looked after and treated like a guest in a 5 star property. To top it up, we decided to have lunch at the hotel restaurant after checked out and met Vladislav, who gave us an amazing service from food to drinks. Absolutely perfect. I will definitely come back to stay here next time I am in Sofia and will recommend it to everyone who's coming to Sofia.

Este es un gran concepto de albergue nuevo para Sofía y Bulgaria. Es bueno tener una cama completamente cerrada (con cortina) que agrega privacidad, cuando se comparte una habitación (dormitorio) con otros 4 viajeros. Además, hay varias opciones de iluminación dentro del área de la cama, iluminación completa y de diez centavos. Sin embargo, me asignaron una cama superior en el dormitorio, me resultó difícil al principio entrar y salir. ¡Quizás soy demasiado mayor para el concepto de albergue! - No, en serio, era muy bueno para un albergue. La habitación tenía aire acondicionado y parecía funcionar bien. Gran intercambio con los compañeros de viaje en mi habitación, los beneficios de alojarse en un albergue. Nuestro baño externo, estaba justo enfrente con varias duchas y baños. Sin embargo, una instalación estaba fuera de servicio. Hay dos cocinas diferentes en diferentes niveles. Me registré a la hora asignada; al principio, parecía que había algún problema con la reserva. Había pagado por adelantado mi reserva, a través de Trip.com, pero la gran mayoría de los viajeros usan hostelworld.com, que solo requiere un depósito, y el pago restante se realiza en el albergue. Esto creó cierta confusión en el check-in. El albergue está muy cerca de la estación principal de trenes y autobuses (10 minutos a pie). Sin embargo, este albergue está bastante lejos de las principales zonas turísticas y lugares de interés de Sofía, que se encuentran a unos 45 o 50 minutos a pie. Sin embargo, hay varios tranvías y autobuses para llegar allí, lo que puede resultar un poco confuso para quienes viajan por primera vez a Sofía. En general, recomiendo encarecidamente este albergue.

Muy cerca del aeropuerto y buen servicio y muy buen desayuno

Excelente ubicación para quienes están de paso; quizás una noche de estancia no sea suficiente para opinar, pero... El hotel es muy grande, arreglado y acomodado a las necesidades actuales del que fuera construido en tiempos del comunismo. Todo perfecto.
