Staff are friendly and helpful. foodie the breakfast ..just ok.mOptions a bit limited.
Service good.
Easy and comfortable place to stay.

Breakfast was awful no sausage bacon when you ordered a pancake took 30 minutes no glasses for drink
Location for pool and beach terrific 19 stairs to room very steep would not recommend for elderly people

Good for what you pay for. This is a very old school Balinese hotel. Only comment would be that breakfast cutlery at breakfast is in plastic. Why? Not great for the environment.

The staff at Vila Shanti were all very helpful and friendly. The room was simple but clean, the bed quite firm but comfortable enough. I requested softer pillows and they supplied them for me. They could do with having some extra things in the room like a bottle opener, safes and bins with lids in the bathrooms. They could also do with more loungers around the pool, although the shape of the pool area makes this a bit difficult to accomplish. People 'saving' their loungers for hours at a time was also quite frustrating and so the pool attendant should be monitoring this I feel. Aside from these minor things, the location is amazing, right in the middle of Sanur and right on the beach. The view of Mount Agung is breath taking.
Overall, I am very happy with the value and service.

We hebben hier al een aantal keren gelogeerd. De locatie diensten en servies zijn prima in orde. Het huisje is, met uitzondering van de vloer, ons inziens aan renovatie toe.
Het ontbijt is minimaal met weinig variatie. Ook andere gasten klaagden hierover.

Reception didn’t have a room for us, offered two single beds or shower over bath. No good, finally got queen bed and walk in shower.
The beds are like old phone books to sleep on. Way too hard! Seriously uncomfortable.
Not a bad budget hotel, however most Europeans stay there and a number of old farts think they own the hotel because they go each year. Many get out of bed early place towels on the day beds and leave them for hours on end unoccupied and the staff don’t do anything about it.
Breakfast lacks compared to other hotels, I looked in the kitchen and it was very dirty.
Saw a rat run from there. Would I go back, no!
Location is good, in its day it would have been flash, but very dated. Staff very nice and friendly.
