The overall condition of the hotel, including the rooms, restaurants and pools, is good. The room (over 60 sqm) is spacious with a tatami and sofa sitting area as well as a small balcony facing the sea. The view at sunset is beautiful. There are not many rooms per floor so the hotel is quiet and relaxing. We had the pool to ourselves on both occasions when we swam. The private beach just opposite the hotel( 6-7 minutes walk downhill ) is also worth a visit but it closes at 6pm. The sister hotel nearby offers shuttles and tuk tuk service and they were nice to come back to the beach to pick up any hotel guests 10-15 minutes past six ( even though the schedule indicated that the last shuttle would be at 6pm. ). Breakfast had good options and definitely worth it as there isn’t any cafe nearby. For lunch or dinner, there are 10-12 restaurants within walking distance offering Okinawan cuisine and the concierge is happy to make recommendations. Parking costs ¥1000 per day and they offered a ¥1000 yen voucher if we opt for the “no daily cleaning “ option. The voucher can be used for parking or shopping in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its facilities and we loved the very large room( try to go the indoor pool and the sauna too).

. Halekulani Okinawa is an outstanding resort that delivers exactly what you expect from the brand: impeccable service, exceptional comfort, and a deep sense of calm. The service is flawless—attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive. The rooms are extremely comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfectly suited for a slow, restorative stay. The surrounding nature is stunning, and the resort feels well integrated into its landscape, which adds a lot to the overall experience. We stayed in December, and despite it being winter, the atmosphere was still incredibly pleasant and charming. The main pool does not operate in winter, but honestly, it doesn’t feel like a drawback at all—there is so much more to the property than the pool. Breakfast deserves a special mention: it is excellent, with high-quality ingredients and great variety. I highly recommend trying breakfast in different restaurants during your stay, as each offers a slightly different experience. Overall, Halekulani Okinawa is a refined, serene, and beautifully executed resort. A perfect choice for those who value comfort, service, and atmosphere over loud entertainment—even in the winter season.

The check in was very easy, as was finding the location along of the villa on the beach. The condo/villa is absolutely stunning with a view of the ocean that cannot be beat. We appreciated the gorgeous sunsets, the pool and soaking tub on the 2nd floor balcony, and the outstanding views of the beach and island (Yojima) in the distance. The beds were some of the most comfortable we slept in while in Japan. We deeply appreciated the amenities - breakfast and food delivery (sausages, veggies, fresh bread, eggs and drinks) upon arrival, and found the layout of the house was fantastic for our family of 5. With two sleeping areas downstairs (kids), and an upstairs master bedroom (parents), we had MORE than enough space. One thing we would have liked about the location description online is an understanding that there is VERY little near by in terms of restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Depending on the weather, not much is walkable within 15-20 minutes. We ate at the Taco Rice restaurant, and walked 30 minutes to a local supermarket, and we drove the other places we needed to go. Also, the general impression we got from the website was that you can access the beach directly from the villa - sort of a, ”walk out to the sand” idea. You cannot. There is a 6-foot wall that separates the bottom floor of the villa with the actual beach area (needed for water level rising during storms, we get that :))... but there is no way down without jumping, nor a path to the beach (from our #3/C Villa, at least). We ended up jumping down the retaining wall using their small gate, walking around to a local business area that had a clear path, and accessing the beach that way. This was fine, don't get me wrong. Also, while the view is spectacular (and it really is), there is a TON of rebar from a former construction project (unfinished, we asked around) that sticks up out of the ocean at low, or extremely low tide (both of which we experienced while visiting - the extremely low tide happens each new/full moon, we were told). When this occurs, the beach stretches for 550 yards. We were able to ”walk and explore” (careful of course of the coral!), but for 1.5 days, we had a view of tons and tons of rebar sticking straight out of the sand, that stretched for 100s of yards in each direction. Again, this did not ruin anything, but it would be nice to know when booking a pricey room. I think the views are outstanding, given the timing you take the photo :) Overall, we would likely not stay again for the price, but it was a relaxing and splurge-y way to get that Okinawa sunset in at the end of long trip (5 weeks) in Japan. We are grateful for this adventure and my shared experience in this review is simply to help families understand more about the property. We traveled in mid-July. Thank you!

We had spent 4 nights at the hotel during the Golden Week which might have influenced the perception of service, but not dramatically. Among the advantages of the hotel are: nice spacious rooms (ours had a stunning sea view); generally good location with beautiful nature and access to the beaches where you could actually swim (not a given on the island) - at least until the tide goes too low; reasonably good food across the restaurants with rather friendly prices; stylish bar with quality drinks. Among the disadvantages are: very non-Japanese service (generally not very helpful, with low penetration of English among the staff) and lack of attention to detail that could make the resort actually very nice - again, not very typical case for Japan. A few pieces of advice to the management: 1. Bring the option of in-room breakfast. If a guest is sick and can’t go down, it’s impossible to order in-room breakfast on the day, while rooms service opens at 11:30. Same frustration goes to the coffee stall downstairs that doesn’t serve coffee during earlier breakfast hours 2. Consider equipping rooms with coffee machines and contemporary electronics - low costs to take, yet massive disadvantage for the 5* status for not having them 3. Pay more attention to room service: we spent 48h without shampoo and shower gel. Our glasses were washed occasionally. New bottles of drinking water arrived only once. 4. Fix the beach! The amenities there look like a poor community beach area, especially those shameful umbrellas. You have reasonable amenities at the pool - why not spreading them to the beach areas to make them feel more like a resort rather than public beaches that no one gave any care? 5. Gym and SPA amenities could use a bit of refreshment. I won’t mention SPA service itself which might be a result of poor luck with the specific technician 6. Empty mini bar equals lost revenue. You could easily cover the modifications above through adding more options for people to enjoy drinks at their balconies. What makes staying in Japan truly special - genuine care and attention to every detail - was completely missing over our stay at this Hyatt. In fact, we consistently had that feeling “this could actually be really nice” and then something would go terribly wrong with the awkward service. The hotel that looks like 5* on pictures leaves a 3* aftertaste at max. I am only writing this because I felt it didn’t have to - those are easy aspects to fix.

Ingenuamente, pensé que había varias piscinas por la foto del hotel, pero me decepcionó que solo hubiera una (el hotel mencionó que tenía tres, pero en realidad era la misma, pero con agua menos profunda a ambos lados). Planeábamos nadar y salir durante el día y disfrutar del baño al aire libre en nuestra terraza después, pero nos dimos cuenta de que había muchos insectos y moscas por la noche, ¡y ni siquiera nos atrevimos a abrir la puerta de la terraza para evitar que entraran en la habitación! El desayuno es un poco temprano, termina a las 10 de la mañana. Es tipo buffet, pero no hay mucha comida buena. Solo fuimos un día y encontramos algo mejor para comer fuera el resto de los días, a pesar de que la tarifa de la habitación incluía el desayuno. ¡Pero Aquasense sigue siendo un hotel encantador! La habitación es realmente espaciosa y había tres camas grandes y cómodas. La nevera es de tamaño doméstico con congelador, algo que rara vez se encuentra en la mayoría de los hoteles; podemos guardar helado allí y comer cuando queramos. ¡Y la vista desde la terraza es increíble y te sientes relajado al estar en la habitación con tantos sofás! Por último, ¡debo mencionar los fuegos artificiales! Los hoteles los lanzan especialmente para el verano, en julio y agosto. Podemos disfrutarlos en nuestra terraza. Nos encantó a todos y es una experiencia realmente inolvidable.

Si conduce solo, la ubicación es conveniente y no difícil de encontrar. estacionamiento gratis Nos alojamos por 2 noches. La habitación era grande y cómoda. También había una estufa para usar. Puedes ir a una tienda cercana a comprar comida y calentarla. El baño tiene separación de ropa seca y húmeda y secador de pelo Dyson. La habitación da a la piscina y tiene una bonita vista. Pero no había loción corporal en la habitación y no había forma de secarla esa noche. No esperaba que el Grupo Hoshino ni siquiera tuviera ese equipo.

El hotel está muy bien situado, muy limpio y tranquilo. El check-in estaba en el próximo parque de coches, y las escaleras están ocultas en la parte de atrás, por lo que puede ser difícil de notar. No puedes encontrar a nadie allí también, así que en ese caso es mejor llamar a la cantidad ofrecida o dejar que sepa el cheque a tiempo. Además de que eran muy amables y útiles en mantener mis bolsillos por un tiempo. También 10 minutos a pie a la Caverna Azul! Gracias 🤍

My girlfriend and I come from Hong Kong, and we’re honored to visit Okinawa for the first time, staying at your esteemed hotel for four days and three nights. All the staff at your hotel are exceptionally friendly and eager to assist. Whether at the front desk, restaurant, or cleaning team, every colleague is impeccably polite. Even though our Japanese is nonexistent, the staff patiently communicated with us in English, which truly touched our hearts. This time, I successfully proposed to my girlfriend right here at your hotel—sincere thanks to your hotel for creating such unforgettable and beautiful memories for us. Additionally, we absolutely loved playing with the parrot in the hotel’s basement; it’s so adorable and fun! We hope to see it again next time and have more joyful playtime with it. We look forward to the opportunity to return in the future and share more warm moments together.

Cuando fui allí, me preocupaba si sería demasiado viejo después de leer las críticas. De hecho, fui. Para amigos como yo que no son muy exigentes, pensé que era muy bueno. Algunas puertas de los gabinetes se cayeron al tocarlas, pero aún así está muy limpia y ordenada. El mar en el hotel es hermoso, el mar de cristal y hay varias instalaciones recreativas. Incluso si fuimos en invierno , hacía demasiado frío y no jugamos. Los niños cavaron en la arena. Lo malo es que cuando miras las fotos se ve que las camas se pueden armar, pero no se pueden armar en el sitio. Además, la ubicación del piso de la habitación reservada por Ctrip no era muy buena.

房間看起來乾淨，但是當我走到榻榻米地方看時，居然是滿地頭髮以及很多的沙子灰塵，後來仔細查看整個房間地板，只能說是很多灰塵很多沙還有很多頭髮！真是不敢相信…..後來還把地板整個擦過，枕頭抖抖灰塵我才有辦法休息，不會再次選擇入住。
