This place is run by a very nice and friendly couple. They keep the place very clean and tidy. Lady boss is very helpful in providing me attractions information, carrying my big suitcase up to 2nd floor and arranging her husband to take me to train station. They have full kitchen with everything ready to cook, and washing machine to use. It opens only 6 months, everything is so new and with good quality. I really like to stay at this place.

Добраться до живописных мест Дунфэн не составляет проблем, такси приезжает быстро и стоит недорого. Вечером хозяин провел дегустацию вин собственного производства, нам очень понравилось.

This property is a real gem, offering a perfect blend of comfort, modernity, and unique touches. The bathtub on the balcony was a highlight of my stay – it was a fantastic spot to relax and unwind. While the nearby busy road did produce some traffic noise, this was a relatively minor issue. On the whole, I was thoroughly impressed with the property's facilities, maintenance, and overall condition, making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Si quieres ir a la zona del lago Taiping, debería ser la primera opción, es realmente conveniente. El paisaje también es muy bueno, el tiempo del número 16 es muy bueno, es un poco dulce, pero tiene viento, muy cómodo. El hueco de madera tiene un sabor nuevo que no se ha despertado. Room looks exactly like the advertised picture. Staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. As all the rooms are located on the 2nd floor and there is no lift or elevator, a male staff helps to carry our luggage to the room. Room is big and is near to almost all attractions. An unexpected perk was the bathroom heater light—a total game-changer after a shower. Downside: no lift / elevator. Breakfast is way too simple. A bowl of “mixian” & an egg will be served separately along with few items like steamed peanuts, mantou, sweet potato from the buffet area. No fridge in the room. Very quiet area at night. With minimal food and activities. There is one 7-11 in the park, with operating hours till 7pm.

I had a lovely time at this wellness resort. My room was spacious, well appointed and immaculately clean, with a private veranda with surrounding greenery views. NB: Thre are light sounds of construction and lawn mowers in the neighbourhood as the area is still being developed. The gardens are manicured but also come with a strong smell of manure fertilizer. These small issues are not a problem overall though. The wellness programme was high quality. I attended the Eight Brocade (Ba Duan Jin) qigong session and the guided meditation class- both outstanding. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served in a lovely indoor/outdoor dining space. Dinner was more of a challenge as this wellness resort offered not one vegetarian, let alone vegan meal. But the waitress and chefs were very happy to make me some stir fried vegetables. The on-site amenities are fantastic— I especially loved swimming laps in the indoor pool; the water quality felt incredible, and there is a diverse selection of hot spring pools to unwind in, even if a small number of hot spring facilities were closed during my visit. I also visited the tourist area quickly and got some nice photos. My only recommendation- besides some vegetarian/ vegan options on the dining menu would be a complimentary map and guide, with all the buildings, facilities, instructions, opening/closing times, class times, breakfast and dinner timetable and location, for English speakers on arrival. This would have saved me and the staff a lot of back and forth Q&A through translators. Overall, this spot is perfectly suited for adult travellers seeking quiet relaxation. The exceptional mineral spring water alone makes this resort well worth visiting, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, restorative wellness getaway.

The hotel is well positioned within the resort establishments of Dongfenyun. However, only those individual villa units have tubs for soaking. However, it is not ”hot springs” as advertised in the name. Not to be confused with the type of 'onsen' in Japan. . By booking this accommodation, we can access the attractions in Dongfengyun area without having to pay extra entry fees for Dongfengyun scenic area. Buggy transfers are provided by the hotel into Dongfengyun area. We like the simple and healthy breakfast, which is freshly prepared every morning. Mile is a quick getaway just 40 mins south of Kunming. Hence, there are many day trippers in Mile.

The rooms are clean and spacious. The common areas and corridors are not as new but the rooms were renovated. The location is great if you plan to spend the whole day in Dongfengyun. However, is a bit inconvenient if you are bringing big luggages because you have to transit with the shared buggy rides from the entrance, then still have to walk down the stairs for about 200m to reach the hotel. Also a bit inconvenient to hail the taxi from here as no private car allowed to enter after 9am to thearea.
