Perfect stay. They reached out beforehand to check in with me. Arrived early and they allowed an early check in with a free upgrade. Room was spotless and well equipped. Kitchenette with all the equipment you'd need, small washing machine, free Netflix and impressive little touches like a free bottle of wine if you solve their Rubik's cube and a free packet of popcorn on request. Lounge is well equipped and breakfast was good (eggs, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, some pastries and yoghurts, a waffle maker, juices, coffee and teas, etc.). Staff were always friendly. An excellent stay overall!

La ubicación es muy buena, cerca de la estación parlamentaria y el CBD. Muy privada. Pero el edificio y la habitación son un poco viejos. Aún un hermoso lugar para permanecer en si usted está buscando un lujo tranquilo.

T'was my third time here and they don't disappoint. Room is clean and sleek. Breakfast is good quality. Toiletries needs to be requested all the time- it's not always convenient especially that you need it daily and you stay for 2 weeks.

Sin duda, volvería a alojarme en este hotel; el registro fue rapidísimo. La habitación era muy pequeña, y la cama también, pero la decoración era nueva y tenía todo lo necesario. Las vistas de la ciudad desde la ventana eran muy buenas. El precio era muy atractivo y la ubicación muy conveniente; se puede ir andando a cualquier parte de la ciudad. El único inconveniente es que está un poco cerca de las vías del tren, así que quienes tengan problemas para dormir deberían llevar tapones para los oídos. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba muy bien y se estropeaba con frecuencia.

Great location for orthodox jews. Frendly staff. Nice inside pool and spa. A very goog (and expensive) restaurant inside the hoyel. One minus: they dont change the sheets for a week.

The Highlights 1. The location of this hotel is second to none. Right outside the door, you’ll find endless food options from quick bites to diverse international cuisines, plus plenty of cafés, bars, and public transport. Having the SkyBus stop to the airport just around the corner was convenient. 2. Every team member I met was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. They are well-trained and motivated to provide excellent service. 3. The room itself was spacious and modern. Both the daytime city views and night lights from the window were wonderful, and the furnishings felt new and well-maintained. 4. Guests have access to some excellent facilities, including a gym, a library, and a full wellness area. The indoor pool is comfortably heated even on a chilly Melbourne evening, and it comes with a sauna and bubble spa, which makes the stay feel more like a resort. What Could Be Improved 1. The room setup felt unusual. I booked a one-bedroom suite, but was placed in a two-bedroom apartment with the master bedroom locked off. I completely understand that I only paid for one room, but it felt a little strange knowing there was a part of “my” room I couldn’t access. Personally, I would have preferred a proper one-bedroom layout with full access. 2. The bedroom I was 'allowed' to stay in also didn’t have its own air conditioning. It relied on the living room’s unit to keep cool, while the locked-off master had its system. This design made things a bit uncomfortable at times, especially overnight. 3. The sofa had an unpleasant, urine-like odour, which made us reluctant to rest in the lounge. 4. The main door lock was rusty and stiff, making it frustrating to open and close. 5. There was no landline phone in the room to contact reception, so the only option was to head downstairs. A couple of times, even during office hours, the reception was unattended (likely because one staff member was juggling multiple tasks). It could be so inconvenient to have a more extended stay. 6. While the pool facilities were lovely, they were often crowded. The common facilities are shared with residents of the building as well as hotel guests, but this detracted from the relaxing vibe. Would I stay here again? Yes, probably. Mainly because of the unbeatable location, the great facilities, and the friendly staff. But I do think the hotel needs to address the details so that it can align with what they claimed as 'luxury'.

Sería bueno, excepto para las grandes ventanas occidentales que se enfrentan a la izquierda sin ciegos y un dispositivo eléctrico que desactiva el aire acondicionado cuando nadie está en la habitación. Así que llegamos a estirar calor, y un aire acondicionado que no realmente fresca las habitaciones, y no hay ventiladores ni ventanas en la habitación principal. La mayoría de las otras cosas eran buenas, pero tener una habitación cómoda es fundamental y el apartamento no es sólo para eso. Disfrutamos de la ubicación y la piscina. No podemos hablar realmente a los niveles de servicio porque no pedimos, esperamos o recibimos ninguna. Es un poco frustrante que el hotel sólo tuviera una reserva para 4 adultos cuando hicimos una reserva para 2A+ 3C en trip.com pero quién sabe quién era responsable de eso.

This was my 9th visit to Naarm in the course of over twenty years. Came from Singapore for a Pierce the Veil gig, tattoos, and to skateboard. I was stoked to see that Lyf is now on Elizabeth St. It’s another great area! So close to Queen Vic too! Having read the other reviews before my stay, I can say those reviews did not do the place justice at all. So here’s my take! - Someone mentioned that the room was small. It is not! I have been to many hotels/hostels abroad and this room was huge for its standard/star rating, and price. The bathroom is fairly big too. Whoever thinks this hotel has small rooms, have got to have their eyes checked. - Another review said rooms were not clean. And that the fridge was dirty. I found it good. Sheets and pillows were clean. Towels and bathroom mat was good too. Carpeting was alright. Bathroom sink, mirror and shower did not have marks, or mold. Glasses was clean. Wardrobe too. Fridge was pretty spotless! Could put my dips, cheeses and olives there. Perhaps my only “complaint” was that the AC unit was a bit dusty. And it took me awhile to figure out how to lower it to 18 degrees. - Someone say that there was not enough space to put toiletries in the bathroom. I am not sure if this person has an entire suitcase of toiletries but that was ample space at the sink, and even more space in the shower. You could line ten face wash in there if you wanted to. In addition, the shampoo, shower gel and conditioner smelled good too. And they provided separate ones instead of a 3-in-1. - Someone mentioned that the hotel did not have a kettle or cups in their rooms. And that water (hot or cold) needed to be collected from Level 1. I came prepared and brought a cup and spoon for my instant soups. It was not inconvenient at all, and the lounge area was nice! - One of the reviews mentioned that there were some flies at the sink area of the lounge. I blame this on lazy guests who expected others to clean up after them. Other than the sink, the lounge area was great with ample cutlery, and homeware provided. Size of the area was pretty decent too! - Security. I absolutely love the security of the hotel, that requires a guest to tap their card, even before they enter the building. They also have a card system that works on an app on your phone. Very cool! - Lyf staff were absolutely lovely! - Someone mentioned that they didn’t like how there was no daily housekeeping. As a guest with minimal litter and requiring minimal to no cleaning, I found this absolutely fine. In fact, I was prepared not to have housekeeping at all; I was fine make my own bed, and empty my own trash, if it got too much. So I was surprised to find that my room had been cleaned on the morning of my 6th night there. They even placed my plushie back nicely on the bed. How lovely! To reciprocate, I left the room almost spotless when I checked out. Even folded the loo roll into a triangle. - A review mentioned that the hotel was noisy and that their room didn’t have a good view, as there was construction going on. Having asked for a quiet room, I received one away from the lift. I heard absolutely no construction work going on at all throughout my 7-night stay. The view of my room overlooked the courtyard of the hotel. It was non-claustrophobic and there was ample sunlight, should you wish to draw the curtains. Windows were high and wide. Clearly not small and dark the way others have described. - A couple of reviews mentioned that the rooms were dark and gloomy. Because of them, I was anticipating a very dimmed and dark room, so was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could see! Conclusion: As someone who used to recce hotels for performing artists as part of tour management/logistics, Lyf at Elizabeth St ticks all the boxes of a great stay – accommodating with good facilities, cleanliness, and fun and happy staff. Was such a great stay and my only regret was not doing a two-week trip this time round. Will definitely be back!

He estado en numerosos apartamentos en los Punt Hill durante la última década, aunque ha sido un tiempo desde que me quedé en uno. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero el hotel está muy cerca. Las paredes en el baño no estaban muy limpias, ni eran muñecas ni cuttery (Siempre hago un hábito de limpiar las cosas antes de usarlas!). En el hotel me quedé muy mal, por lo que me di cuenta de que el wifi era muy brillante y intermitente, así que hizo que el streaming shows muy difícil de ver que acababa usando mi teléfono. ¡Las camas estaban cómodas! La ubicación es realmente fantástica, justo en el corazón de China y fácilmente caminable a lugares.

Nos alojamos en el apartamento de cuatro habitaciones para unas vacaciones en el centro de la ciudad con otra familia. La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca de todo y con una parada de tranvía justo enfrente. La habitación era bastante espaciosa, tranquila y a un precio muy razonable. No es el apartamento más limpio en el que nos hemos alojado, pero está bien para el precio. Sin duda, volvería a alojarme aquí.
