We booked an apartment for ten days at this hotel to celebrate my birthday and our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We were doubtful after reading some of the reviews from previous visitors. So glad we didn’t take any notice of them though. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. The hotel and apartment were kept spotlessly clean. The food was varied and plentiful so much so that we gave up on lunch after three days as it was too much. The restaurant staff were friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them both in the buffet and the actual restaurant. The beach is as all beaches along that coast, stony and difficult to get into even with beach shoes but the pool is lovely and we had our own pool too as many others did. We had some lovely early morning walks and would go back again. Cannot recommend this hotel more unless you want a buzzing atmosphere. The only con to the holiday is that the drinks at the pool bar on the all inclusive menu were served in plastic glasses but this did not worry us as we found a bar (the old petrol station) on the main road who served cold bottled beer in iced proper glasses. The owners were so welcoming and lovely.

This was our second sty at the hotel ( we came same time last year). We enjoyed our holiday and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would like to especially mention Alex and Tony who were always welcoming despite working long hours and made us feel special. They really made our return trip. We were in my favourite club ground floor room which as lovely with the infinity pool and own sun beds. We are glad we booked this again and the adjacent bar area had been improved with decking. However we did not get any other benefits from having paid so much more for the room - with other hotels often premium rates get premium drinks or benefits. Maintenance were great as they came and replaced the mosquito screen in the bathroom promptly and fixed a broken patio chair - would have hope this would have been fixed before checked in - chair also broke last year. Room was nice a as the pictures looking at pool and sea. Very relaxing. Rooms cleaned daily :-). Shower pressure and temperature had been fixed from the previous year so was a pleasure to have a shower but bathroom flooded as screen did not stem the flow. The dining food is great (apart from one night of 10) and the lunchtime snack bar was great. Did not bother with the 'a la carte' this year as was same menu as last year. Entertainments good. generally good hotel, Zakynthos is a nice island. Would also echo other guests that check-in not improved with the ipad process was much quicker last year.

The hotel is situated in a remote area which makes it unique. The area is very quite with a shop almost next door or for 10 minutes walk with a supermarket. You need a car if you want to travel to Zante or to the closest beach, which is at @15 min drive. I like the position of the hotel because time spend to each location was @ 15-20 min except south ( Dafni beach ) which was 35 min. The hotel itself is very clean, with friendly staff and if you have a problem in the room they will fix it almost immediately. Breakfast is delicious with a different traditional cake every day. We didn't had dinner here but we were informed if we want we can order something with a day before. The pool is perfect, with clean water and kids had the best time ever. Around 8-9pm pool is closing but bar stay open late. Also food at the bar is delicious. All rooms are big, clean and air conditioner which we had it for free. Highly recomanded if you want a quite relaxing holiday away from the big and crowded city.
