Our base was at Areopolis, at the hotel Kastro Maini, The hotel is run by a family, and they all did their best to make our stay unforgetable, The public areas are pleasant just as the rooms, which are medium in size, with a balcony, and a fully equipped bathroom. What we liked was that the room was meticulously cleaned every day and the towels were changed daily. , The breakfast offered a wide choice of mostly local tasty products. It bothered me a little that the same things were offered every day, I would have liked some variety. Would I recommend this hotel to you? We spent six pleasant nights at the Liméni Village Hotel in October 2022. We had a Deluxe Double Room commanding panoramic views of the ocean (splendid sunsets), of Mani's imposing mountains, and of the village of Liméni (swimming in its gorgeous turquoise / emerald waters, where one can see the sea turtles, is a must). Whoever conceived and implemented this hotel complex should be congratulated on producing such an architectural gem that respects the surrounding location. The impeccably maintained interiors favour simple shapes and clean-cut lines, while boasting quality pieces of furniture and appliances. Breakfast is exquisite (featuring regional delicacies). Restaurant dishes are way above average. Both the owner and his staff are polite and hospitable, and treated us with warmth, cordiality and generosity.
