出差至南法地區，半夜到達酒店，前台細心地準備了歡迎函。南部的天氣真好，可以見到滿天星星，運氣好給了一間套房，房間很大，但城堡酒店有一定的年份了，內部佈局還是非常有特色的。
白天酒店周圍的景色非常美，推薦！

Todo terrible!!
Solo hay una persona en el hotel para atender todas las necesidades, no hay aire acondicionado en los cuartos, no hay wifi, te lo ofrecen pero no te lo dan, no hay luz en los pasillos, parece la casa del terror!!
en la regadera solo hay una de mano y no tienes donde ponerla para darte un baño…, no te quedes ahí, no es una linda experiencia!!

La estància no se corresponde con la de un hotel de 4 ****. No tiene aire acondicionado, las habitaciones huelen a humedad, están sucias, viejas y con los complementos del baño oxidados. La bañera resbala. Poca amabilidad del personal, el secador del pelo es un artefacto de pared, de hace dos siglos, con una manguera que apenas desprende aire. No hay enchufes en las habitaciones, salvo la de la TV y las de las lámparas de la mesita. Armario muy pequeño, no cabe la ropa de dos personas. Hay moho en la puerta del baño y la cubeta del baño está sucia de huellas de gotas de agua. El minibar es una nevera de un palmo cuadrado que no enfría y con 4 latas dentro. Resumen: hay muchos hoteles de tres *** mejores q éste. NO volveremos, ni lo recomendaremos!

We stayed at this hotel last year and enjoyed it so much that we didn't even consider staying anywhere else this year, when we booked it again to have a reunion with our friends from overseas. We had a great time; the swimming pool was fantastic; the hotel restaurant where we had our reunion dinner was absolutely amazing! The staff is very accommodating and charming. If we will ever come to Dordogne again, we will be staying at Chateau de Reynats!

I have been visiting La Verriere at Chateau Reynat for more than 10 years. Always enjoyed a good value well prepared and served menu du jour. Very surprised today that this menu was no longer available, “ new chef “ was the excuse. Full à la carte menu available but as I was on my own could not really get enthused over this, apart from the exorbitant prices now being charged. I therefor opted for a plancha of charcuterie (local produce) at €23. Quite honestly I could and should have gone over to the supermarket and bought a packet of spek and a baguette, it would have been more appetising and cost about €5……very, very disappointing .

The castle is a nice sight to see as you pull up; I'm staying here? Yes! Inside is nice as well. My wife enjoyed having a relaxing bath with a hot cup of tea. Dinner was good, not great. There are better places, but the price for this chateau is spot on.

The stay was to celebrate Mother’s Day/special birthday. On departure we wanted to provide some constructive feedback regarding the poor standard of food we received the previous evening. Instead of a professional & courteous response, the maître d’hôtel spoke to us in a very aggressive & disrespectful way & resulted in me becoming very upset. I was shocked by this man’s attitude. He told us that “the customer is not God” & would not listen to anything we had to say. I have travelled the world & never ever been treated in this manner - I certainly would not expect this in a 2 star let alone a 4 star establishment. Additionally - work men were staying in the rooms beside us & the smell from their smoking was very bad. I wondered if the smoke alarms had been disconnected because the alarm was not activated at all. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Over the phone advertised as modern rooms at the orangerie. Be warned that apparently it is a 3 star not 4 star as the hotel. Room had no air con, interior from 80s with carpet, you can hear neighbours use bathroom and other noises. Small pool, not enough umbrellas for shade, spa next to pool was very rude told me to get out when I wanted to use the bathroom. Definitely not worth a 4 star and location next to shopping area, far from romantic.
