Classic Regency

We recently stayed at the Classic Regency Alappuzha during our family vacation in Kerala and were quite disappointed with the overall experience. While the hotel itself was decent, the lack of proper customer service and amenities significantly impacted our stay. Pros: The hotel location is convenient and the property is clean. Cons: Lack of Amenities: We booked a room for two adults and one child (12 years old). Upon arrival, we found an extra bed, but no additional amenities such as extra towels, pillows, face towels, water bottles, or coffee mugs. Despite our repeated requests, these items were never provided. Unresponsive Staff: The hotel staff were largely unresponsive to our needs and requests. This lack of attentiveness and willingness to help was very disappointing. Breakfast Issues: The breakfast buffet was quite underwhelming. Most items were served cold, and the limited hot items were only available upon request, which was time-consuming and inconvenient. It was not the kind of breakfast service one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Poor Customer Service: Overall, the staff did not seem to care about the guests. The indifference and lack of basic hospitality were evident throughout our stay. This experience was frustrating and did not meet our expectations for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would strongly advise the management to improve their customer service and ensure that guests' needs are promptly and adequately addressed. Until then, I would not recommend Classic Regency Alappuzha to other travelers. There are better options available in Kerala that offer superior service and a more pleasant stay.

Very, very good hotel. It’s four star with a high end five star service and a three star price. The staff has been so helpful and correct in every aspect. Rooms top notch. Bathroom the same. The in-house restaurant “Rasoi”: what a delight. With again a delightful staff. Every dish we had was excellent, be it Indian or Western. After a four days stay we are sad to move on. It may sound over the top but every word is true.

A modern hotel in Alleppey with comfortable beds. It's near the beach and has a pool. The food was very good in the restaurant at lunch and dinner. The breakfast could be better, some yoghurt and muesli would have been good. All in all a good option in Alleppey and the staff were very helpful.

Their only USP is the location of sea view rooms only. Rooms at the backside of the hotel are adjoining with a railway track and yard which will keep you awake throughout the night. We had a sea view room which had all amenities but with a compact washroom. Their main issue is with the food. Both breakfast and dinner spreads had fewer items which are bland in taste. This is the first so called 4 star hotel which served pre-cooked roti, paratha, omelette etc. You will get chicken samosa in breakfast, lunch and dinner. It seems they prepared once and serve throughout the day. If you asked for a fresh bread, they will charge you separately. The staff was arrogant and rude with no customer attention. They seriously need a proper training on how to behave with a customer. Stay only if you want to spoil your holiday and at your risk.

Easy and smooth check in process, welcome drink (grape juice), friendly staff, spacious room, complementary water and tea, slippers & bathrobe (asked for them), fluffy towels, lots of toiletries, etc. I had a problem at my room, but the reception quickly addressed the issue. I was moved to another room and enjoyed the rest of my stay. Hotel has a swimming pool, gym, spa, coffee shop and the excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner. (The breakfast buffet is so-so) The staff is friendly and accommodating. Good place to stay for one or two nights. The coffee shop in the lobby should be open in the morning, not at 3 pm

I made 2 visits to the restaurant, which offers a relative haven in amongst the chaos of busy Alleppey. The hotel is clean, modern, and fresh, and I found the restaurant to be comfortable. The service was excellent. All staff were well presented, polite, and friendly. The menu is varied, and dishes are reasonably priced. I opted for a chicken biriyani and a Kerala Paratha; and chicken 65 on my second visit. The food was excellent, and I left very satisfied.

The hotel is named 5 star but it is really not as star hotel and they don’t have good hospitality and food was bad and they don’t know how to interact with customers and they disabled to give reviews on google also because they will get to know their real Maintence plz don’t visit this classic regency

Every staff member was so friendly and professional - couldn't do enough to assist. Rooms were perfect, modern, with all you need. Restaurant food was great. No bar however we were advised this was opening in the next couple of months. Great rooftop pool and sunsets! Spa is definitely worth a visit. Overall a wonderful place to stay, highly recommend and a place we will return! Thank you!

Rooms are good. Though the washroom bathtub could be placed in a better way as getting in and out of the bath tub was a good stretch exercise. Food is good, but the breakfast menu need to be changed every day, as guest who stays for 2 nights need to get different menu.
