No quería calificar el hotel como promedio porque el personal parece realmente tratar de hacer un buen trabajo. Necesitas un vehículo si te quedas aquí. La playa no está cerca y hay muy pocos restaurantes a pie. Este es un hotel más pequeño, pero tiene piscina. Las habitaciones son un paso por encima de la base. Las instalaciones de la habitación eran más recientes. El hotel no tiene ascensor. Las habitaciones no tienen caja fuerte. Nuestro grupo de viajes preordenó la cena dos días antes y nuestra cena era muy buena. El desayuno es amplio para este hotel de tamaño. Las habitaciones tienen un pequeño balcón. El calefacción y aire acondicionado funcionaron bien. La habitación estaba limpia. La habitación está muy cerca de la parte de atrás del hotel, pero gracias a ello no hay muchos vehículos que lo conduzcan. Tuve un problema con mosquitos en mi cuarto en mi tercera noche. No me equivoco al hotel, pero me mantuvo despierto la mayoría de la noche.

Buena estadía, pero los departamentos podrían ser mejores, no había cortinas en las ventanas de la cocina y las camas un poco incómodas

Tem uma bela vista, tem varios painéis solares o que poderia mostrar preocupação com o ambiente, tem casas móveis para hospedar os funcionários o que poderia mostrar preocupação social mas que na realidade são apenas preocupações económicas para ter energia mais barata (já que o investimento teve apoio do Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional) e trabalhadores disponíveis sem os treinar (muito visivel a falta de formação) nem os supervisionar. É óbvio que todo o investimento neste hotel vai ser desperdiçado pela péssima gestão operacional. Começa pela arrogância da Diretora, mal educada e sem perfil para a função e traduz-se em inúmeras falhas de gestão que resultam numa pontuação de Clientes muito abaixo da média de mercado, por exemplo, no Booking, apesar de no Google ter um comentário muito positivo mas quem fez o comentário foi o próprio hotel (ver foto), estranho!!! PEQUENO-ALMOÇO: Não existem pinças para retirar a comida na bancada pois querem que os Clientes usem uma única pinça por pessoa. Resultado: muitas pessoas usam as mãos e, mesmo ao usar a pinça, contaminam a comida toda, há fruta suja com queijo fresco, pão sujo com chocolate, pão sujo com ovo mexido e, mais grave, farinha do pão no fiambre, na fruta etc contaminando tudo com gluten e lactose. Expliquei a situação à Diretora e foi arrogante, ignorando a situação, apesar de o hotel ter confirmado na reserva que iria disponibilizar produtos sem gluten a nosso pedido, o que no primeiro dia nem aconteceu porque a Diretora tinha deixado esses produtos fechados à chave e só estaria no hotel no dia seguinte, disse o empregado. - LIMPEZA: no primeiro dia quando regressei ao quarto as 15h, não tinham limpo o quarto, liguei à recepção e disseram que a limpeza pode ser até às 17h, declinei pois queria descansar. As toalhas não são brancas, já são amarelas de tão encardidas que estão. Estranho também ver uma senhora da limpeza a varrer o pátio para a relva (junto à piscina)! - WC: sem ventilação, a água do duche sai pela porta, temos que colocar a toalha que fica ensopada e nunca seca, nao existem suportes para toalhas nem lenços de papel, sem espelho de aumentar e sem reposição de amenities (deixaram-nos com um sabonete pequenino durante 4 dias para 2 pessoas). O autoclismo não funcionou várias vezes e tinhamos que usar balde do lixo para recolher agua do duche (optamos por não nos queixar mais devido à arrogância da Diretora)! - QUARTO: é estranho existir codigo nas portas que não deve funcionar pois deram uma chave e um cartão para ligar as luzes, so há espelho no wc, o AC não permite controlo e o quarto estava um forno! - VARANDA: guarda em vidro partida, gera insegurança pois a queda seria de mais de 5m, também estavam partidas noutros quartos. - RESTAURANTE: funcionários com pouca formação, pedimos cação que estava HIPER SALGADO, com molho salgadissimo e ainda com pedras de sal por cima, amêijoas congeladas como pastilha elástica e sem sabor, pedimos gin tónico e bacardi

If you look for nature, peace and comfort, this is the place to go. In the middle of the Vincentina Coast Natural Park, full of birds and trees, the buildings of the hotel are designed with great architectural vision. The rooms are just georgeous and have private balcony or gardens. The main building is on higher ground with an amazing view over the park and on the ocean. Enjoy the sunsets from the terrace with the lanterns in the evening or at one of the tables in the excellent Azeitona restaurant. The menu provides for all tastes (fish, meat and vegetarian) and the dishes are prepared with a lot of flavour and finesse presentation. Breakfast is outstanding, with a large buffet selection (lots of typical Portugese sweets, home-made sourdough bread, many fruits, yoghurt, cereals, seeds, meat, cheese and salmon, fresh fruit juice, Bloody Mary station and Portuguese sparkling wine) and à la carte dishes (the pancakes with red fruits! the egg Benedict with salmon!) and drinks. Staff is really great and go out of their way to help the guests. I’d like to specifically mention Elisabete (breakfast and pool bar Zimbro) - who should be paid by the count of steps and smiles -, also Jessica and Paula (dinner service), Bruno (pool bar Zimbro and dinner), Tomas (sommelier) and I wholeheartedly recommend the delicious cocktails from Juan (bar tender Menzondro and cocktail creator). Book a spa session for ultimate relaxation, I had the place (with two sauna’s, hamam, IR shower, ice bath and indoors and outdoor pool) to myself several times. Soledad is very kind, lets you enjoy the place by taking good care of it and serves hot tea and cold water throughout. The main pool is nicely integrated in the landscape and pool service is very good. I very much enjoyed the complimentary yoga sessions in the morning from yogi master Sofia, she is an outstanding teacher, builds the flows from floor to standing to floor for all levels and does a very peaceful meditation at the end where she makes sure everyone lies aligned and relaxed. Namaste, Sofia! The Whatsapp concierge service is very convenient and Joana was very helpful during booking and at check-out. Often forgotten, but certainly worth the mention here is the room cleaning and turndown staff who impeccably service the rooms every day. If you like hiking, I warmly recommend the walks provided in the booklet of the hotel (next to many other activities which also look great). The walk down to the ocean (3,6km, red, labelled average) takes about 50 min (and about 1h10 up) through the Natural Park and rewards you with the best views of empty sand beaches and ocean cliffs like in movies - there is no access but by the dust roads, I only met 1 car driving down and on weekdays spent the time down at the ocean alone (in the weekend there were a few hikers and local surfers, but still paradise ).
