Este hotel ha sido promocionado en el pequeño libro rojo. La ubicacion es buena. La planta baja está el supermercado, puedes comprar lo que necesites, comer, vistas al mar invencibles, y muy cerca del mercado, hay varios restaurantes en Internet, la distancia del muelle es aceptable, el desayuno es simple, porque el tiempo de viaje es temprano, así que comí en el hotel el último día. La habitación era grande, pero las instalaciones eran viejas, pero era aceptable. La cama era demasiado pequeña.

My husband and I booked a Deluxe King Spa Room for 5 nights, 6 days including continental breakfast. Overall we were happy with our stay. Staff were friendly, room was clean, the pool area was lovely. Only small complaints are that the pillows were not very comfortable and the bathroom needs updating, the water pressure in the shower was very bad. The restaurant in the resort was lovely for our daily breakfasts but very expensive. If you wanted hot food for breakfast you had to pay for it and the price of $5 for a hash brown, $5 for bacon and $3 for a poached egg was exuberant. We realised that the inclusive continental breakfast did not include hot breakfast foods. The choice of other breakfast foods was ok. I, personally would like to give a shout out to Christina at reception for looking after me when I needed a special favour 😊.

If you’re arriving in the dark, DON’T if you’re in a small car be prepared to feel like you’re about to tip nose over boot! We arrived at 7.30pm and missed the entrance to this hotel. It’s so dark that you don’t see the signage until you’re half way up the hill then it’s not blatantly obvious that you have to take a sharpish right up another hill to reception. Be prepared for your car engine to struggle and sound like it’s about to explode with the effort! Checking in was a fairly easy affair they give you nifty eco friendly key cards made of bamboo! Finding your room might be another matter depending on where you are! The room itself is as fairly large, a super king bed, a sitting room/kitchen area and hidden away in a cupboard near the front door is a washing machine and upside down dryer! The spa bath was welcome after a long drive, the shower water leaked onto the tiled floor. The kitchen area has all the necessary equipment you’ll need and there is even 3 little sachets of laundry detergent to do washing. Pool towels are also provided. My biggest issue is the hill. It sits atop a very, very steep hill and whilst the hotel offers you a courtesy bus into the main shopping street if you want to go for a wander it’s nigh on impossible. So this hotel is NOT for the faint hearted or mobility impaired. The upside is you do get superb views across the bay. There are plenty of shops and bars in the main tourist ***** it is a tad busy and quite loud at night so we just avoided it. There are notices on the beach about not swimming in the water due to jellyfish. The weather is pretty hot but muggy just now but nothing that we didn’t expect. All in all the hotel was ok I’d advise staying at the Airlie Beach Hotel if you have any disabled travellers with you who we e just found out have really good facilities for disabled people! Drinks at Happy Hour are $15 per cocktail and $8 for a beer there are booze shops in town if you decide to buy your own. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was pretty standard but if you want a decent coffee you have to pay for it. You’re asked to take your own trash out with you when you leave which is a new one on me. If you’re looking for peace and tranquility Airlie Beach is not it, if you just need a base to slump into this will do you although there are cheaper places out there. It wasn’t awful but I wouldn’t return.

La habitación es grande, baño independiente, jacuzzi independientes, cocina y desperdicios. Eso no es muy limpio y limpio. A finales de agosto, la cama estaba sola, demasiado fría, despertó a las 4:00, descubrió que había una pequeña camisa de agarre en el armario, demasiado pequeña, y mayor que hasta ahora, cubierta de dos camisas, y se enfrentaba con fuerza a una noche. Lo mejor es la ubicación, todas las compras en torno a los bares, BWS, Woolworth caminar 3-5 minutos. El transbordador del aeropuerto también es muy conveniente.

El precio es bueno, la ubicación está al pie de la montaña, la casa en la montaña es cara, el lugar está en la calle más animada, porque es invierno, la calle está relativamente desierta, el gran supermercado está al otro lado de la calle. , puedes caminar a la playa en 5 minutos, y las instalaciones de entretenimiento cercanas son completas. There are 2 girls in reception that are absolutely arrogant and with a terrible attitude. If you have any problem (even caused by themselves), they will never try to help you, and for any question, they give you just fast answers to get rid of you. A girl, in particular, a blonde one with curly hair, left me impressed thinking of how a person can be so mad while working in a tourism facility. If you hate to work with people, why don't you find another job? there are plenty of jobs in Australia. I have been extending my stay different times and every time they charged me with more than the correct percentage for the card payment and I had to push them to correct the mistake. The place is not bad, the location very good, but the girls at the reception ruined my stay and since the beginning made me feel uncomfortable. I stayed in a camping site. The price in a beautiful town like that it's ok, just the site was too small.
