En route a Calais we stayed at the Chateau for a single night. We had managed to stay in excellent mail contact with Francis before our arrival, and actually as we arrived we met at the door. The Chateau is a wonderful place to stay. No, no un Hyatt o Waldorf, pero no pagas esos precios, en vez de eso, te encuentras una experiencia única en un viejo Chateau lleno de muebles eclecticos, escaleras de madera espiral y tranquilidad pacífica. Esta es una historia de 2 mitades. Cuando intenté reservar en línea, quería 3 habitaciones, pero cada vez que intenté pagar, recibí el mensaje de que estas habitaciones no estaban disponibles. En el hotel, el hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. Lo expliqué y envié incluso una pantalla del precio que el sitio citaba - pero a ningún precio. Me quejé al director ejecutivo, pero respondieron que no tenían pruebas de que yo lo hice, aunque ofrecí que lo proporcionara como yo usaba un sitio de retorno de efectivo y registraron mis intentos. Nos quedamos nueve días en este establecimiento (dos de ellos Wonderbox) y nos alegramos de nuestra estancia. Todo fue perfecto. La historia del sitio contada por David fue apasionante, en inglés y francés... La habitación Anemone era más que cómoda. El desayuno era completo (pan, vinagre, mantequilla, confitería, yagurt casa, zumo de naranja, té o café). ¿Qué más? Hemos podido disfrutar de cuatro noches de la mesa de huéspedes. Una simple y excelente. Muchos consejos y opiniones de David para no perder algunas visitas como la Copa y el Planetarium en Helfaut. Restaurantes a 15/20 minutos, excepto el fin de semana donde se prefiere ir directamente a San Omer (30 minutos). Era una opción de nuestra parte, queríamos ponernos, y no lamentamos. Estacionamiento al aire libre a 50 metros. Excelente relación calidad/precio. Muchas gracias a David y Cecile por su pasión por el trabajo, su amableza y su profesionalidad.

Bueno, soy muy atractivo, pero tuvimos una cena muy buena en este hotel. Nos tomamos el menú medio (40 euros) y después de una muy deliciosa boca de salmón fumado y crema de albaricoque, nos ahogamos en un hierba de hígado artesanal servido con una tarta de aprieto y una deliciosa pieza de dolor de gingerías de epices. Tenía una manada de rebaño y mi marido tenía una manta de vela. Después pastamos una mesa de queso muy extensa. Todo esto se lavó con una botella realmente deliciosa de St Nicholas de Bourgueil. La sala de cenas es ligera y aireada y el servicio amigable. Las habitaciones están limpias con duchas y cafeteras. Puedes aparcar fuera de tu habitación. Una muy buena parada para una primera o última noche en Francia
