Excelente relación precio- calidad. Ideal para, en medio de la naturaleza, hace caminar en pistas bien identificadas y luego disfrutar de la piscina del hotel con una espectacular vista sobre las montañas y el río. El restaurante del hotel es excelente. No es la primera vez que lo vemos y no lo decepcionamos.

Dear Duecitania owners, Your hotel is magnificent and I LOVE it. The architecture, the details, the workmanship are superb. Your natural pool and surroundings are stunning, and, very importantly, your staff are lovely, nice, helpful. Ah yeah, also the spa! Unfortunately, you need to look for another chef and another maintenance manager. Why change them? Because food and hospitality require love: love of taste, love of detail, love of choice, love of attention to detail. Because maintenance needs love for things that work, are clean, have square angles where required. And the love is lacking in the food and in the maintenance. 1. We arrive in our room on the 3rd floor; the wifi is abysmal, the fridge does not work, the water pressure is miserable, and the towel racks need to be tightened and squared up. And in the spa, the barrier to walk down into the jacuzzi must be put back in, the sauna and the vienne shower are still not working since last time we came. Also, can men with long feet have appropriate slippers? Your maintenance manager (if you have one) does not walk around looking at what works and does not work. What a wonderful place to stay, I had stayed here before with friends on a Moto Tour so knew what to expect, my expectations were surpassed, it’s a really lovely place to stay. On this trip I was with my wife, I had talked up Convento Da Serta before arrival and we both agreed the out of 9 good hotels on our Spain & Portugal Tour this was the best by far. * Chaves as a town has character, charm and is very pleasant to walk around. * Convento Da Serta, is in a prime position, elevated above the old town * There are good bars and restaurants within easy walking distance * The hotel itself is a charming and a very well adapted stone built Convent, there is a small pool, easy parking on site, the rooms are excellently appointed with good views over the town some have small private balconies all have Air Con. The staff are very attentive and both eager to please and keen to help you get the best out of your stay at the hotel and the area surrounding the town if you have time to explore. * Breakfast service was freshly prepared, presented well and staffed to cope with the demand, the food itself was very good. * The restaurant recommendations were spot on we chose one that was recommended it was lovely (see separate review, for Ponte Romano)

El baño es agradable y tiene 4 estrellas pero huele terriblemente a falta de saneamiento del tubo. Las bosques se dividen y parece que el edificio fue renovado en el 1990s. Nos alegramos de estar allí porque es realmente un hermoso palacio situado en una zona hermosa, pero no podíamos descansar adecuadamente. Están cargando demasiado por lo que se ofrece.

Hoteles antiguos y antiguos...alcatifa por todas partes...decoración para recordar palacios medievales...las habitaciones con vistas al lago son razonables...la zona de la piscina es muy insegura y escorregadia... carecen azulejos por toda la piscina...muy malo...mi hijo se escurrió en la piscina y tuvo que llevar 12 puntos en la rodilla en el hospital de Abrantes......no me sentí muy interesado o preocupado por la dirección del hotel...daba la idea de ser otro caso...Triste El desayuno es el hotel normal.... Los precios del restaurante son altos y la comida es banal-fiebre porcina - 15 euros... No va...no vale la pena

It's an old palace so some noise is to be expected through the walls but other than that it has excellent rooms with very comfortable beds, the restaurant is very good. Lovely staff. wonderful gardens and scenery. And the best of all, its pet friendly. They'll bring to the room the pet's own bed, blanket, toy, bowls. Fantastic attention to detail there also.

El mejor hostel que he ido nunca, relación calidad precio lo mejor, camas de sobra, mi uy barato, baño privado y bueno, habitación sin defectos ni muebles antiguos, todo bonito y moderno, camas de madera, paredes de piedra, decoración rústica y acogedora, personal amable, y el pueblo tiene un río muy chulo para bañ****, nosotros hasta nos bañamos de noche, tiene un buen acceso y se está muy agradable, a pesar de que solo fuimos al pueblo por el precio del hostel, superó nuestras expectativas
