Great place to stay with awesome laid back owners. Fishing was good as well! Very clean and if we needed anything, we were close to where we needed to find what was needed. Found a local butcher shop called “The Butcher Shop”. Excellent selections and delicious.

The place was right on the lake which I loved and gave us the whole cabin vibe for our stay in the Ozarks. However, the place was really outdated and definitely not clean. There was small and long hairs all over the bed sheets and also on the shower walls. This was not ideal especially since the place wasn’t cheap. One thing I can say is the people there were lovely and helpful!

We stayed in one of the two bedroom cabins in the eight-plex. The cabin was small but adequate for our family of six. If we go back, we’ll get a three-bedroom. We loved all of the activities at the resort. The kids especially enjoyed swimming, the water trampoline, and fishing. The resort is located near many local attractions, and we enjoyed exploring the area. The one major downfall for us was that we were surrounded by smokers. While the cabins were technically non-smoking, our neighbors liked to smoke just outside their cabin doors (on our connecting balcony) and on the beach in front of the cabin. At times it was too thick to be outdoors, and the smoke seeped into our cabin through the air conditioner. I woke up many nights and smelled smoke. When we arrived home, all of our clothing and other items in our suitcases reeked of smoke. This even included clothing that was never removed from our bags while we were there. The smoke really detracted from our time at the resort. We went to enjoy the outdoors and were unable to do so fully because of all the disgusting smoke. They really should designate a smoking area away from the cabins and beach for the health and well being of all guests.
