We had a 2 bedroom apartment in double storey. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Check-in was a breeze. Front desk was very helpful and brought us to our room.
It comes with a fully equipped kitchenette with washer and dryer.
Will not hesitate to recommend The Village Resort to anyone.
It was a wonderful experience staying at this place.

Lovely resort check in poor attitude not greeted with warm welcome or smile. Rooms had marks on walls and tables. Checkout totally different lad was very happy. 10 minutes walk away from city centre where there’s lots of bars, restaurants and shops. English pub next door.
Did email management about check in experience and room condition no response. Disappointing experience will not be coming back when in Taupō or recommending stay.

A very modern & comfortable apartment with all the modcons including the in room washing machine & dryer which was handy . A nice balcony coming off the lounge . Friendly staff & an awesome swimming pool .

Stayed for two nights and were impressed by the accomodation and amenities. Loved having a fully equiped kitchen and laundry facilities! And that they replenished the laundry powder each daily, unlike many other places. The unit was spacious and the fold out bed in the lounge was perfect for what we needed. Great location to the lake and easy walk into town. Only negative if I had to have one was probably the transactional nature of check in and check out. No smile, not warm NZ welcome but that’s better than bad service any day. Would recommend.

We really loved staying we were happy with everything. We have stayed at a few motels at Taupo and this was the best one we stayed at.
