Choosing a place to stay in Paris is never easy. The whole city is charming and romantic, but where you stay can truly shape the tone of your trip. That’s why I was so happy with my decision to stay at the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile during this visit—it turned out to be one of the highlights of my time in the city. First of all, the location is excellent. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, and it’s well-connected by both metro and RER. Whether you’re planning to explore the city or heading out for day trips, getting around from here is a breeze. It’s also right next to the Palais des Congrès, so I imagine it’s a great option for business travelers as well. But the real magic of this hotel lies in its views. When I checked in, I politely asked if it was possible to get a room on a higher floor—and I was lucky enough to be given a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. As soon as I walked in and saw that iconic silhouette framed perfectly by the floor-to-ceiling window, I was speechless. During the day, it was stunning. At night, it became something truly special, with twinkling lights illuminating the tower and casting a warm glow over the city. I found myself sitting quietly by the window, just taking it all in. It felt like Paris was unfolding just for me. The room itself was sleek, modern, and very comfortable. It wasn’t overly spacious, but it was perfectly arranged with thoughtful details—an incredibly cozy bed, a great coffee machine, high-quality toiletries, and excellent lighting. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring the city. Breakfast was served on the 34th floor, and it was an experience in itself. The panoramic views over Paris were breathtaking. Sitting there with a warm croissant and coffee while watching the city wake up beneath me was one of the most peaceful moments of the trip. The breakfast spread was varied and delicious, and the staff were kind and attentive without being overbearing. What stood out most about this hotel, though, was the quiet warmth of the service. The staff had that classic French elegance—discreet but welcoming, helpful without being intrusive. Even the housekeeping staff were thoughtful, and when I checked out, the front desk staff asked how my stay had been with such genuine interest that I found myself smiling for the rest of the day. El desayuno era delicioso, con una variedad de productos, desde yogur y bollería hasta huevos, pan, embutidos y quesos. El hotel está a pocas manzanas de la estación de tren Gare de Lyon, cerca del jardín botánico y de la estación de tren Gare de Austerlitz (a 40 minutos en tren de Versalles), y hay muchos bistrós franceses excelentes a entre media manzana y dos manzanas. Caminar hasta el Sena lleva menos de 30 minutos, y a la catedral de Notre Dame solo 30 minutos. Sin duda, me alojaría aquí de nuevo.

La habitación está limpia y el almacenamiento de equipaje también está disponible en el hotel. Sin embargo, el enfriador de agua no funcionó durante mi estadía, por lo que fue un poco decepcionante. Pero todo lo demás está bien y el hotel está situado muy cerca de la Terminal 3.

Restauration absolument pas à la hauteur du ”standing” de l'hôtel. Attente longue pour se faire servir au restaurant. Personnel d'une manière générale pas vraiment au point, hormis le chef de salle de la restauration très sympathique et conciliant. Machines à café et eau chaude pour le petit déjeuner en panne, attente longue, pain surgelé le dimanche matin, absolument scandaleux pour un prix de plus de 20 €. Pas de facture en français, presque 10 minutes d'attente pour récupérer les cartes de chambre, avec 3 personnes qui font la queue c'est 30 minutes d'attente... Est-ce bien digne des tarifs que vous proposez et de l'image que vous véhiculez ? Chambre très belle, confortable et très propre malgré tout.

Pas de facture en français, presque 10 minutes d'attente pour récupérer les cartes de chambre, avec 3 personnes qui font la queue c'est 30 minutes d'attente... Est-ce bien digne des tarifs que vous proposez et de l'image que vous véhiculez ? Chambre très belle, confortable et très propre malgré tout.

Las instalaciones del hotel son completas y el desayuno, por 9,5 €, es tipo bufé (pan, beicon, huevos revueltos, bebidas). Ofrece una buena relación calidad-precio y tiene un horario de apertura bastante amplio. La principal dificultad, durante mi estancia en junio de 2025, fue encontrar el autobús lanzadera en el aeropuerto. El servicio de transporte tiene un coste de 5 € por trayecto. La recogida para los dos hoteles B&B se realiza en la T2D, pero la señalización en el aeropuerto es muy confusa; di dos vueltas hasta que encontré el punto de recogida. La frecuencia de los autobuses lanzadera no es alta. Un único encargado gestiona todos los hoteles, recordando a los pasajeros y coordinando los vehículos, por lo que es posible que, aunque llegues primero, acabes subiendo más tarde. Aunque el encargado se esfuerza mucho, la situación es bastante caótica. Tuvimos que esperar más de media hora a que llegara un autobús. Una vez dentro, hay que seguir las indicaciones para sentarse en el lugar correcto y escuchar atentamente al conductor, que va nombrando los hoteles, ya que de lo contrario, podrías acabar en otro B&B. Para el check-in, hay que registrar los datos de la tarjeta de crédito. Para ir del hotel al centro de la ciudad, si no se toma un taxi, la única opción es autobús y luego RER. Si llegas para hacer el check-in, se recomienda comprar la tarjeta de transporte en el aeropuerto con antelación.

Las habitaciones están limpias y el hotel tiene un comedor y un porche para relajarse. Debido a que el vecindario es muy tranquilo los fines de semana, es muy adecuado para caminatas matutinas y vespertinas. Puedes caminar a un buen restaurante durante diez minutos, y puedes caminar a McDonald's y centros comerciales con más gente.
