I originally booked for two nights but I ended up extended for a total of five nights because I enjoyed the accommodations that much. Lobby, check-in, and cafe downstairs were all beautifully designed and welcoming areas to hang out or study. I loved the fireplace and living space. Wifi was great! Staff: Everyone on staff was wonderful and welcoming; however, Candace and Branson were people I had the most contact with and it was always a good time. From Candace always being available to help me with navigating the neighborhood and hotel to Branson giving me tips on Portland, chatting about life and fulfilling my caffeine needs, I loved getting the chance to know them. They definitely sealed me in for additional days and were a big reason I felt so comfortable throughout my stay. The Rooms: My first two days were in a King suite with a private bathroom. I was in the room deigned by Peter. It was comfortable, quiet despite the locals living it up outside, and roomy. The rest of my stay was in a Queen room with shared bathroom. I was concerned about having to share a bathroom but they are large, extremely clean and have comfortable and convenient amenities. I slept so well in every room I booked. There might be something to this no technology in the bedroom ”myth”. I liked the minimalist approach to hotel stays and appreciate the added luxury feel with the bathrobes. Little things like a robe really elevate the overall experience in hotels. Cons: No formal parking but there is plenty of street parking and much of it is free. Private security in the community keep a good watch on vehicles. A con that is not the hotel's fault is the unfortunate state of Old Town and it's displaced and struggling locals. They didn't bother me when I was outside but it was sad to see other human beings in those conditions. Be safe walking around the area as some can be unpredictable or in distress. Like with any city, especially downtown areas, just be aware of your surroundings. Overall, The Society is on my list of Portland favorites and I will be returning for future visits.

Estaba en el centro de Londres Southwark. No creía que fuera un cerebro para comprobar la ubicación de Portland. No la misma experiencia. El hotel no tiene mucho ruido en la calle (y había mucho hasta ~3 a las 3:00 cada noche), pero pocos detalles como una habitación parcialmente preparada, y una unidad AC extremadamente ruidosa se llevó de una estancia tranquila. No recomienda pasear por la zona después de la oscuridad. Apreció las aguas frías de la complimentación cuando volvimos al hotel después de nuestras salidas.

Paso 100 noches al año en sólo marcas Hilton. Soy mediana edad y no de mantenimiento alto. Además, debido a mi industria/companía he tenido que viajar durante todo el pesadilla de COVID. Entiendo perfectamente los desafíos y los cambios que la pandemia ha traído a los hoteles y tengo un gran respeto por la industria de la hospitalidad en su conjunto. En general, las habitaciones, el personal y la ubicación son muy buenas! Este hotel es más un hotel de servicio completo y un paso considerable por encima de su típico formato/experiencia Hampton Inn. Un par de pequeñas irritaciones: No hay champú en mi habitación o en la mesa delantera. ¿Se les dijo que salieron? No hay paraguas de huéspedes prestadoras. ¿Se les dijo que salieron? Horas de desayuno limitadas y no ir a desayunos en el fin de semana? En cuanto al problema sin hogar/transitorio que afecta a Portland. En el hotel y en el distrito de Pearl, no hay problemas que me acerquen ni preocupan por estacionar mi coche en las calles alrededor (salvo que algunos bloques de parques todavía están diciendo).

The Nines es un hotel de lujo que cumplió y superó mis expectativas. Ubicación: The Nines está ubicado en el centro de Portland, cerca de Pioneer Courtyard Square, y está a tiro de piedra de muchos excelentes restaurantes, tiendas y destinos turísticos. Habitación: La habitación en sí es bastante grande y lujosa, con una renovación muy nueva. Las dos camas queen eran muy grandes y la ropa de cama era muy cómoda. El baño es grande y tiene todo lo necesario. La altura del techo es muy alta, por lo que hace que la habitación se sienta muy espaciosa. Bien hecho y diseñado. Área común: ¡Guau! Desde la entrada del hotel hasta los pasillos de arriba, ¡sin duda fue un viaje a través de un excelente diseño! El vestíbulo está en el centro del hotel, en el octavo piso. El vestíbulo es grande y está muy bien diseñado, con un estilo de atrio / patio. Servicio: la gente fue muy atenta y el servicio de limpieza hizo un buen trabajo. El conserje estuvo dispuesto a ayudar y tuvo una excelente actitud. Sin duda alguna, The Nines es sin duda el mejor hotel de Portland.

Aparte de nuestra reunión en el restaurante de Elmer. Elmer puede entregar al hotel. Portland era inusualmente caliente, así que me alegro de que la a/c funcionó bien en la habitación. La sala estaba caliente, sin embargo. Sala limpia, excepto para una pequeña pintura en el tapete. El baño se ha renovado recientemente y brillante. Calma a/c y refrigerador. I honestly don't think I've ever had a worse or more disappointing hotel experience than the one I just had at River's Edge in Portland. From the outside, when I first arrived, I wasn't sure if the hotel was even open. It appeared to still be under construction. The only things visible from outside the entrance were construction debris and plastic tarp. I wouldn't have been surprised to find I had simply gone to the wrong place. However, the doors did automatically open as I approached, so I cautiously entered. I expected to be chased out by an angry construction worker. There was no lobby, to speak of. The check-in desk was essentially a folding card table with a computer, and a frazzled employee who seemed to be frustrated to have to work under such conditions, exhausted from having to make excuses for the position they had been put in. My room was supposed to have a balcony with a river view. Only, the windows and doors to the balcony were sealed off with more plastic sheeting. Not only could I not see the river, I couldn't even get onto the balcony. When I went to wash my hands, there was no hot water. I mentioned it twice to the person the ”front desk,” but there was still no hot water when I returned from an evening out. I called down again to inform them that I still didn't have hot water, and was told that someone would call me back shortly. They never did. Consequently, I was unable to shower the next morning. I had to tell the person at the the front desk, again, that there was no hot water on my way out for the day. We did end up having hot water when we returned that evening. I had been told that the construction that was taking place that had necessitated the plastic sheeting on my balcony would be taken down the next day, and that our balcony would be accessible, but that never happened. When we returned from one of our evenings out, the elevators stalled just as it reached our floor, and the doors only opened part way. We had to carefully exit sideways to fit through the gap, but we were worried that the doors might close on us as we did, or that the elevator might suddenly decide to go up or down before we got through. We were informed that our room would only be serviced if we requested, so it basically felt like we paying for a bed, a parking space, and nothing more. Our bill was $437.54 for two nights of feeling like we were trespassers at a construction site. This is not a place that anyone should pay any amount to stay at.

This is more of a lodge than a hotel with multiple connected wings. I chose it because it's after memorial day and I wanted a pool, given I was arriving early from the east coast. I get to the hotel and the pool is closed. At a holiday inn. After memorial day. No notice. Not an email explaining it or on their website. I even called the hotel to change my reservation and no mention of it. The rooms are large enough - too large for the amount of furniture in them - but the pool was closed. It appears they set it up for tomorrow but I'm leaving for work at 7 am. Even if I had called they have a 24 hour no cancel policy so i would have been charged for the room no matter what. So, the hotel itself is rambling and there's a sister property that's a Ramada across some odd vast desolate field. They look exactly the alike. Same architect, same design. But separate hotels. The hotel decor is questionable. There are expanses of halls that scream for work - and someone with a design esthetic to fix them. There's just not enough furniture anywhere and what they do have is pushed up against the walls in every room hallway, lobby etc. This area is in a no mans land island with very few amenities and shuttered stores. No small little town center but a grouping of suburban buildings with a best buy, target, staples, tj maxx, etc that have empty shelves and no customers. Most close at 6 pm. Dump this place and stay in town. It's depressing. And the pool was closed. Ugh.

Nos alojamos aquí por tres noches. El diseño del hotel es simple y sencillo como un estudio. La habitación es más espaciosa y la cama es cómoda. El entorno circundante también es bueno para el centro de la ciudad. Hubo algún problema con la iluminación de la habitación y el mueble colocado en la máquina de café era casi invisible. Aunque hay ventanas que no se pueden abrir, desperdicia aire natural y no cumple con el concepto de protección ambiental enfatizado por el propio hotel. Debido a que probablemente sea un hotel nuevo, la circulación de aire no es buena, algo de sabor (todavía aceptable)

Estaba aquí por tres noches para un espectáculo comercial en el centro de convenciones. El centro de convenciones está a unos minutos a pie del hotel. Check-in tarde y informé al hotel de que estaba check-in tarde a través de la App Marriott. No hay problema con el check-in y me dio una botella de agua libre cuando llegué a las 11:00 a la noche y tienen unos pocos regalos de cosas que puedes comprar de.. La oficina de la Frontera también fue útil para almacenar mis bolsillos como yo tenía la casa de la redeye Como miembro de Platino recibí 10 dólares de crédito alimenticia y la utilicé en el restaurante. El hotel está muy bien situado y está muy bien situado en el restaurante y sólo se comió allí para el desayuno y el valor de las omeletas que ordené. La habitación era un fuerte Courtyard King con una televisión inteligente tan fácil de acceder a mi cuenta de netflix que me quedaría de nuevo si en un espectáculo comercial... de lo contrario no hay razón para quedarse en esa zona. El tranvía fue a unos minutos a pie para llevarte al aeropuerto o Pioneer Square.

Sin avena  - Bonita vista del agua exterior.  - Asientos de desayuno al aire libre disponibles con vistas al agua.  - Bebidas calientes de cortesía disponibles en el lobby.  - Decoración moderna y atractiva en el vestíbulo y las habitaciones.  - Tranquilo.  - Artículos esenciales, mini tienda y máquinas expendedoras con bebidas y comidas con microondas disponibles justo al lado del vestíbulo.  - Cerca del aeropuerto.  (Ligero) CONTRAS:  - El tipo en el escritorio estaba bien - - no exactamente 'Sr. Personalidad ', pero hizo su trabajo.  - El desayuno era un poco básico, comida típica de hotel, pero mejor que nada.  - Después de pedir una habitación no contigua, terminamos con una habitación junto al elevador, pero afortunadamente estaba en silencio. We’ve stayed here twice. Both times, the rooms were clean and basic—maybe even a little modern. Thing you wouldn’t really expect from this hotel chain, honestly. But after the stay, I realized I likely left my headphones ($200.00-ish Sony earbuds), so I called to inquire. The woman at the front desk who answered the phone was extremely rude. She didn’t even offer to check the lost and found and told me they’d likely have already donated them, obviously anxious to end the call. When I asked to speak with her manager, she said she was a manager. Then I asked for her name. At that point, she literally laughed and hung up on me. I called corporate at that point, beside myself, particularly given the fact that she wouldn’t even CHECK the lost and found. After that call, a manager (an actual manager) called me back. She told me she had just received a message from corporate and was immediately on it, checking every place they could possibly be. After that, she promptly called me back that same day to let me know that she could not find them. Huge bummer, but she actually apologized, was genuinely sorry, and refunded my stay in full. Long story short, this place redeemed itself. We will stay here again, especially for airport trips, but hopefully the woman at the front desk was disciplined and will not give us more issues.

This was our first time in Portland and we had no real idea what expect of the city and surrounding area. If you do any reading, your head can spin. Only you can decide what you can tolerate. We were there for a wedding with a big, multi-generational group and this hotel was perfect for our purposes. As suites, the rooms had more-than-typical-hotel-room space. We used the kitchen area for leftovers and snacks. The extra sink was handy. The lighting was decent, the USB ports and number of outlets were good. Everyone had some room to spread out. The beds were what I expect from Marriott - super comfortable and we all slept well. Our room faced the interior courtyard and none of us had problems with noise. The hallways were noisy with kids running, but that's everywhere now. There were two things about the room that stood out and made the made it hard to maneuver for us, and that was the lack of drawer storage and that the only clothing storage was the hallway between the bedroom and bathroom. With four of us in the room and only TWO drawers, where are we all supposed to put almost a weeks worth of clothing? Yes, they are big drawers, but not nearly big enough. The closet, as usual, has a minimal number of hangers. We pack as lightly as possible but we were there for a special event and had some extra clothing. To add insult to injury, the bathroom door swings into the space where the two drawers open and the closet doors open. If a person tries to come out of the bathroom when another person is either in the closet or has a drawer open, there will be a collision (or the person in the bathroom is stuck inside). It's a huge cluster. Who thought that was a good idea? Maybe other rooms aren't designed like this. The common areas of the hotel were clean and well kept. The room card was needed to access the elevator and public restrooms. The breakfast in the morning was great. Lilia, one of the women who worked in the breakfast area, was so kind to our family, especially my mother-in-law. The workers, and she in particular, provided exceptional service every morning. Usually I'm not impressed with hotel breakfasts but I thought this one did it quite well. In the evenings, we almost always gathered at happy hour. With folks in our group of different ages from different parts of the country, being able to hang out together and relax in such a nice environment was what we needed. David and Ted were attentive and charming. They kept the drinks and appetizers flowing. For this, again, the hotel was perfect for us and the service was top notch. Transportation is easy at this location. Union Station is so close. The streetcar is not far. It's never difficult to get an Uber. There are also many restaurants and stores to explore just in the nearby neighborhood. We had a rental car delivered for three days of our time in Portland, to be able to explore beyond the city.
