What a beautiful hotel.. facade is Medieval painted ..stunning. Very central on a quiet street. The staff are very friendly and approachable and very knowledgeable about the city. Room spacious and comfortable Spotlessly clean Well stocked amenities (Tea/coffee, iron etc) There is a restaurant and bar onsite... perfect ambience Breakfast was an amazing selection of both hot and cold buffet, fresh pastries and a choice of juices. Although quite busy, there was no waiting for tables. Highly recommended

The good things about the hotel were its location. Close to restaurants, a famous Banksy or two, lots of shops and theatres. Is a beautiful hotel with nice places to sit and meet if you are in a group. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The car park, despite being £17 per night, was actually better value than other options nearby and we were able to leave the car there until midnight on the day of check out. The negatives were that we were not able to get a reservation in the hotel restaurant which we found unusual. We had a group from 8 to 80 so we were worried about walking yet had no choice as they couldn’t fit us in. They were also impossible to contact as they didn’t reply to messages. There was chaos at check in with guests waiting for up to an hour to check in and get their keys. There were long queues for over two hours from 3pm to at least 5pm. Their excuse was that the hotel was fully booked but it’s not as though they didn’t know all those people were coming! They should have been prepared and there were a lot of unhappy customers that Saturday evening. Some front desk staff were flustered and sorry but couldn’t do anything about it and some didn’t seem to care. We were there a bit earlier so they could have got the process started but they wouldn’t so we had to queue twice. We were quite fed up. Even after all that and me paying £68 for 4 cars I had to keep repeating that I had already paid that and the next day. Something in the system needs to change as it’s frustrating to spend 2 hours checking in when you are only staying for 1 night. Perhaps if they are expecting so many people again they could put out tea and coffee in the tea lounge with a screen to enter and pay for your car and then have some kind of ticket system where you are called to the desk when it’s your turn. It certainly needs better management as it’s not the welcome you expect when you’ve paid to stay in the Marriott brand.

La habitación era muy cerca de la habitación donde estaban haciendo la construcción dentro de ella, en un momento que yo y mi novia querían llamar a la causa de la recepción cuando llegamos al hotel que estabamos realmente cansados. Utilizamos este hotel al menos 3 4 veces al mes. Buscaremos otro hotel.

La habitación era de buen tamaño y la ubicación era muy conveniente. Sin embargo, si tienes problemas respiratorios, ¡no reserves este hotel! Ninguna ventana se puede abrir y el aire huele a humedad. Teníamos la nariz un poco tapada debido a las alergias primaverales, pero respirar en la habitación era extremadamente difícil. El aire también era muy seco, y ambos nos despertamos con hemorragia nasal, algo que no solemos experimentar. En cuanto salimos del hotel, pudimos respirar con normalidad gracias al precioso parque cercano. El hotel no pudo proporcionarnos ninguna ayuda. Sobrevivimos al metro de Londres, pero esta habitación nos venció.

Everything was fine except the ac heating was not working even it is adjusted to 30 degrees it was cold as winter so had to put on my coat. The room was clean but there were hairs on the towel and inside the sink. Apart from these the reception staff was so friendly and helpful. Thank you!

However, the breakfast was a bit pricey for what was offered, which may not be the best value for money.
