Location is excellent. Ayala Mall is 5 minutes walk. SM City mall is 30 minutes walk. There are cafe and restaurants just across the street, McDonald's and 7 eleven just behind Nice Big room, excellent bed and mattress, excellent pillows so nice very comfortable. The room bed mattress & pillows are much better than the 2 other neighboring hotels which are more expensive, I've stayed there too. Breakfast was excellent, buffet and there was bacon yummy. What i didn't like about this hotel are... 1)! They still insist on a deposit during check in 2) the overhead shower and the hand shower handle was broken and needed fixing. I like this hotel MORE than the other two neighbour hotels just next door and will choose this again next time

Buen hotel, pero lamentablemente no hay agua caliente, solo agua tibia en el mejor de los casos. Al llegar, me dijeron que la piscina no estaba disponible debido al mantenimiento, que es muy deficiente y no me lo informaron al reservar. Además, estaban haciendo obras encima de mi habitación, lo que generó mucho ruido desde las 7 de la mañana, lo cual fue muy molesto. El personal es increíble, muy amable y servicial, y la comida y el servicio fueron excelentes.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Fili Hotel NUSTAR. The facilities, amenities, and service from the room staff met our expectations. The pool, gym, and other amenities were excellent, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of selections. My daughter especially loved the complimentary popcorn, bread, and juice served in the lobby during check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. However, there were a few areas that could be improved, particularly during the check-in process. For a five-star hotel, the check-in took quite a while due to the long queue, which was disappointing after arriving at the hotel. I had reserved a Twin Bed room, but upon check-in, we were informed that only a King Bed room was immediately available and that it would take longer if we chose to wait for a Twin Bed room to become available. The staff advised that they could arrange the room later, but this would have required them to enter our room after we had already settled in. Then, the in-room staff delivered extra pillows and bedding. We opted not to proceed with the extra bed setup and simply used the spacious couch, which we moved closer to the bed and made up with the extra bedding. This arrangement worked well for the three of us and allowed us to rest immediately after a long day of travel, without having to wait for additional room preparations or have staff working in the room while we were already relaxing. Note that their standard check-in time is at 3 PM, we arrived at the hotel past 3 pm already. We were also celebrating my husband's birthday during our stay. During the booking process, I requested if it would be possible to display a personalized birthday greeting on the room's TV screen. The hotel kindly confirmed via email that they would arrange the greeting and also provide a birthday cake. We truly appreciated the thoughtful birthday cake delivered to our room, which was a lovely gesture. However, the personalized birthday message on the TV was unfortunately not displayed as promised. Another issue occurred during check-in regarding our breakfast entitlement. I had booked a room with breakfast for three guests, but the hotel's system only reflected breakfast for two. Fortunately, the staff resolved the issue without requiring any additional payment for our daughter after I presented my Trip.com booking confirmation. While I appreciate how they handled the situation, I believe these booking details should already be accurate upon arrival to avoid unnecessary inconvenience. Despite these check-in concerns, the rest of our stay was enjoyable. The room attendants were attentive and regularly checked if we needed anything, making us feel well taken care of. Overall, I would still recommend Fili Hotel NUSTAR for its excellent facilities, comfortable accommodations, and friendly staff. My only suggestion is to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the check-in process, as it sets the first impression for guests. Hopefully, our experience was an isolated case, and future guests will enjoy a smoother arrival.

Reservamos las 4 noches en el hotel porque está a poca distancia del centro comercial Robinson y de otros restaurantes. Reservamos el hotel principalmente para dormir, porque nuestros tours comenzaban muy temprano en la mañana. La reserva incluye el desayuno, pero como salimos para realizar excursiones antes de que abra el desayuno, el personal nos preparó amablemente sándwiches y cafés todos los días para llevar. La habitación está limpia y es cómoda como en las fotografías. Reservaría este hotel la próxima vez. Por cierto, recomendamos el masaje tailandés Thewi cerca de allí.

Es uno de los hoteles más grandes de Cebú. No está muy lejos del aeropuerto ni del puerto, por lo que el transporte es muy conveniente. Justo enfrente hay centros comerciales, restaurantes y supermercados. En general, la experiencia fue muy buena. La foto es la vista desde la ventana.

Had an amazing stay at Nustar Hotel Cebu. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning views of the sea. The service was exceptional—staff were attentive, warm, and professional. The amenities, especially the pool and dining options, made the experience even more memorable. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Cebu. Highly recommended!

Ubicación: Relativamente cerca del aeropuerto, a unos 20 minutos, pero no hay restaurantes, salones de belleza ni centros comerciales alrededor del hotel. En días lluviosos o cuando vayas a un centro comercial a comprar recuerdos, te recomendamos utilizar un coche Grab (por cierto, el coche Grab desde el aeropuerto hasta el hotel cuesta unos 1.500 yenes). Habitación: tipo cabaña, lo cual es poco común en la isla de Mactán. Incluso el tipo básico es bastante espacioso y tiene una cabina de ducha y una bañera (es una pena que la cabina de ducha no drene muy bien). Tenía una Nespresso (cafetera de cápsulas) y 4 cápsulas, y en la nevera había 2 botellas de San Miguel (cerveza filipina), 2 botellas de zumo y mangos secos. Estos eran gratis. Había chanclas disponibles como pantuflas, pero si no te gustan las chanclas, te recomendamos comprar pantuflas desechables de Hyakuyen y traerlas contigo. Había un colgador de toallas en el balcón, pero no alcanzaba para secar los bañadores mojados, así que creo que sería mejor traer un colgador de alambre, un colgador cuadrado, un pellizco y una cuerda para lavar ropa. (Hay servicio de lavandería, pero no había lavadoras ni secadoras en el hotel.) Pueden entrar pequeños insectos, por lo que es mejor tener un insecticida simple (no se permiten aerosoles en el equipaje de mano ni en el equipaje facturado). tal vez. Instalaciones: Hay dos piscinas, una de las cuales es una piscina infinita. Aunque era un poco estrecha, había una playa privada donde se podían ver peces nadando. También hubo actividades gratuitas como aquabic y vóley playa. Por la mañana te entregan en tu habitación una copia impresa que contiene estos horarios, pero el horario es bastante vago (creo que es típico de Filipinas que sea flexible). Puede que fuera temporada baja, pero puedo aceptar que algunos restaurantes estaban cerrados, algunos salones de belleza y gimnasios estaban cerrados y la tienda tenía una selección muy limitada. Servicio: Me alegra que el personal siempre me salude cuando paso. No es que tengan un servicio particularmente de alta calidad, pero como eso no era lo que estaba buscando, quedé más que satisfecho con el precio.

I love this place because it is a big property with many different parts and things to do. There really many pools, an aqua park, an inflatable island on a large pool, a game room, a bar, a restaurant, a souvenir shop (that also sells basic medicines and toiletry needs), bathrooms, a garden, the beach front. If you are a family with children of different ages and even if you have grandparents in tow, this would be perfect. They’re not stingy with lounge chairs either and in one pool, you can play volleyball. Their rooms are good sized and comes with a small ref, hair dryer, a carafe and free tea and coffee. Their breakfast buffet is awesome with sooo many food and drinks to choose from. There is a BDO cash machine and their staff are very helpful and polite. Grab food are not allowed to deliver at the lobby, they can only make it to the gate of the property and while it is not far to walk there, you can ask for free shuttle to bring you to the gate to claim your order and then back to the lobby. They also take credit cards and water stations on each floor where you can refill your water bottles. There are 2 large water bottles in each room. I think the one issue I have is - I perceived this resort to be family friendly because of the many kinds of activities for different ages but our rooms came with bathrooms that has glass wall where a person outside the bathroom can pull up the blinds. I mean, why? When I booked the rooms, it didn’t mention that the bathroom would be like that. I wish they would provide a distinction during booking so that people who don’t want bathrooms to be like that can avoid it.

The hotel is recommended and decent so far. We arrived on Wednesday and it was pretty quiet. But from Friday onwards it got way too crowded. Breakfast became super packed. The arrangements were a bit messy and disorganized. Facilities and service were actually really good though. Just the food choices and quality could use some improvement.
