I stayed at Wyndham São Paulo Ibirapuera Convention Plaza Hotel twice during my trip (April 3–8 and April 10–11), and overall, this was a very mixed experience. I’m an international traveller so I would say I have my fair share of seeing all sides to a hotel. To be a 4 star hotel and to charge premium rates, I would expect certain things. Let’s start with the positive to the hotel - The location is excellent. From the hotel across there is a shopping mall, which makes it extremely convenient for food, shopping, and daily necessities. • Cleanliness is generally acceptable. Aside from one incident, (on my first night, I found red stain marks which looks like lipstick on my sheets, took a photo and alerted receptionist the next morning for a change of sheets. • Room size is spacious and comfortable. I stayed in the “ superior room” and the junior suite. The issues (and they are significant): 1. Misleading room expectations The room I received looked noticeably older and more worn than the photos online. Doors, bathroom condition, and overall finishing did not match what was advertised. It felt misleading. This hotel definitely need a glow up. 2. Poor service & lack of flexibility Service was the biggest disappointment. • Staff were generally not proactive or solution-oriented. • I made a booking error via Trip.com and tried to adjust the dates. Both the platform and hotel refused to help or offer alternatives. • Even a simple late check-out request (which I informed them about in advance and was willing to pay for) was declined without much effort to accommodate. I wasn’t also asking for hours just a mere 2 hours so that I can go to the city to pick up some stuff before my long haul 32hours flight. 4. Billing inconsistencies – check your charges carefully • I was initially charged for 2 minibar items when I only consumed 1. I manage to catch this on time before paying for it. • Laundry count was incorrect (11 pieces sent, billed for 12). Receipts and explanations were unclear, and I’m still not fully confident everything was billed correctly. 5. Missing basic amenities (unexpected for this level) • No iron or ironing board available • No kettle / hot water in the room • No complimentary drinking water • Everything must be purchased separately 6. Language barrier for international guests Not all staff speak English, which can make communication difficult if you’re not Portuguese-speaking. Overall verdict: This hotel is convenient but not service-oriented. If you are Brazilian or familiar with local expectations, you may find it acceptable. But as an international traveler, the experience falls short—especially in service, transparency, and attention to detail. Would I return? Probably not, unless location is the only priority.

Local bien situado, con una estructura agradable. Mientras tanto, en mi estadía tuve un problema en la habitación, en la que una blusa se ahogó. Intenté contactar con la gobernanza, abriron un llamado y no tuve ningún retorno de lo que podría haber sucedido hasta entonces. Incluso si es una blusa con un valor simbólico, creo que se trata de una cuestión de seguridad grave.

Me he alojado aquí varias veces. Las habitaciones son amplias y luminosas, con una pequeña terraza. Tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio, está cerca del centro comercial Paulista y goza de una ubicación muy conveniente. Hay muchos restaurantes a menos de 2 kilómetros.

整體都挺好的，離中餐館也很近，去旁邊的喜來登下面吃快餐也很方便。 樓頂有健身房和泳池，泳池就算了，太短了，一言難盡。健身房設施還是不少的。 洗了衣服，也不貴，香香的。 服務人員都很nice。 住的中國人感覺不少呢。 早餐沒有蔬菜，各種麪包 腸 甜點 煎蛋 茶 咖啡 也可以拿回房間吃。 電視台不少～

Conveniently located for business purposes. Next to the Reebok gym and walking distance from shopping center.

El ambiente es muy agradable y el personal ofrece un servicio excelente. La ubicación es fantástica: hay muchos restaurantes cerca, es muy fácil conseguir un taxi y está a poca distancia de parques, centros comerciales y zonas de compras. Instalaciones: El hotel está muy bien equipado. Sin embargo, es necesario traer las propias toallas, cepillos de dientes y otros artículos de higiene personal.

Durante el viaje de Brasil, el mejor hotel experimenta el hotel. La recepción habla inglés. El hotel tiene un gran centro comercial en el otro lado del hotel. La compra de comida es muy conveniente. El desayuno del hotel también es muy bueno 👍👍👍

The hotel is awesome considering the location and closeness to the airport, I chose it because I had an early morning flight, but it's too far from the center. Room is okay, some things are worn out, feels like there isn't much water pressure in the shower and it's not warm enough. Breakfast is amazing, but would love to see more vegetables and fruit choice. The only thing i'd like to complain about is service, hotel was pretty much empty when we stayed there, there was no welcoming bottles of water in the room, called the reception and asked to bring it over, they said they had ”no such service” and basically forced me to come downstairs myself... the next morning (as I ordered a taxi through the reception desk downstairs), I doubled checked with the lady, she confirmed that the taxi will arrive. Time has came, there's no cab, i'm fearing I will be late for my flight, went to her again, she didn't even bother checking if the driver is on the way or not and told me to wait. I decided to get an uber myself and was lucky to find a taxi at 6:20am in the morning. Also, it's upsetting to see them not even trying to speak english or other language to me. She was super stubborn and told me she can speak only Portuguese, on top of not making effort. Disappointing.

Excelente como sempre em especial a recepcionista Ariadne. Café da manhã fabuloso, além dos itens de qualidade e diversidade ainda tem piano ao vivo nos finais de semana!
