The hotel staff were one of the friendliest I've ever met...always there with a sincere smile and pure heart to serve. Very pleasant check-in and out experience. The room heater was working very well.
The location was excellent as it was connected to a department store and opposite Family Mart.
Parking was convenient due to basement parking the hotel had.
One downside was that the parking had to be paid per night even though it was the hotel's own parking...but I assume close to all other hotels charge for parking in Japan too, so it's fine.
Overall pleasant stay, appreciated the older decor vibes of the hotel and would definitely come back again.
The hotel is very overpriced for an old facility. We booked an oceanview room but the windows are blocked with bars and can barely be opened. Our room on the second floor could barely see the ocean. Furniture and decoration scream OLD.
Most front desk workers are not Japanese. They claim to have an ”international crew” but the problem is they don't know much about Japan. When we asked the doorman about taking trains, he didn't have a crew because he just got to Japan from another Asian country. On the other hand, the restaurants only have Japanese workers and no one speaks English. We booked an 8-course dinner. The chef was going around to explain the dishes to guests but just left us when he found out we don't speak Japanese. The menu is in Japanese only.
This hotel also charged us at 135:1 foreign exchange rate while all other hotels charged 142-144:1 JPY-USD. It's not a foreigner friendly hotel and way overpriced for what it is.
Excellent staff service. Although the onsen is not big , it is well designed. The food (if you include breakfast in your booking) served in the restaurant is very nice. The dinner is highly recommended.

OOnsen loverHotel is located only a minute away from train station but it's so quiet in hotel. Room was clean and comfort, and also well maintained. Dinner & breakfast were so good than all hotels or ryokans we had in Japan so far with similar rate level. Staffs were all so nice and helpful, no matter in restaurant or at front desk. It's also surprised for us as our room was equipped with onsen bathtub, so we could enjoy onsen both in our room or in public bath. We had a joyful stay and would highly recommend this hotel in Ise for travelers.

UUsuario invitadoSpectacular view of the ocean... a bit difficult to find this hotel as it was up on a slope (wasn't expecting that) and likely because I was driving in the dark. Signs were kind of hard to see. Beautiful hotel, buffet dinner and breakfast were good.
