An attractive hotel in a former imperial complex (a library or something like that) offering large, clean rooms. It's up on the side of a hill but taxis/rideshare will take you to the front door. Also it's very close to the town center and is a short ride to the temples that are of interest in Chengde. They have a decent breakfast at the onsite restaurant, and a dinner service featuring local dishes that are supposed to be similar to what an emperor might have eaten. So you can dine like an emperor, for a fee. The large deer roaming the grounds stare at your with the big, sad eyes, obviously looking for a handout, but don't fall for it as there's plenty of grass. There was some construction going on, seems the buildings are being refurbished, but it did not really interfere with our stay. Signs in English and English-speaking staff at the front desk.

今晚的入住體驗確實令人失望，主要問題出在房間的硬件設施上。不過必須要説，前台工作人員的服務態度非常好，她們的努力值得單獨表揚。 1. 異味問題。一開始被安排在8樓的房間，走廊裏就有明顯的刺鼻氣味。工作人員雖然很快用了香薰，但效果衹是把味道混在一起，並沒有從根本上解決。房間裏面也感覺很悶，空氣不流通，而且空調衹能出熱風，待了一會兒就覺得鼻子和嗓子都不太舒服。前台兩位小姐姐非常耐心，得知情況後主動帶我去看其他空房間，前後一共看了五間。有的房間潮濕，有的甚至有廁所的異味，可見不同客房的維護狀況差異很大。最後好不容易找到一間稍微正常點的，她們全程都沒有不耐煩，真的很感謝。 2. 水流問題。沒想到，房間的問題剛解決，洗澡又遇到了麻煩。我住的3樓房間，熱水水流特別小，水壓明顯不足。洗澡時衹能局部沖洗，體驗很不好。在空氣質量不佳的天氣裏，酒店內部因為通風的問題，反而讓人覺得更不舒適。 3. 隔音問題。每次隔壁關門我都能聽到聲音，還能聽到樓上聊天的聲音。 總的來説，這次入住遇到的異味、隔音和熱水問題，都是硬件或維護不到位導致的，確實影響了休息。但前台工作人員的專業和耐心是唯一的亮點，希望酒店管理層能重視並改善這些基礎問題，不要辜負員工的努力和客人的信任。

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations with its outstanding service and comfortable accommodations. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities I needed for a relaxing stay.

Booked on friends’ recommendation and it did not disappoint! This is our first time in this region and first time ever in a ski resort and it has been a very pleasant and memorable experience. The hotel is in the heart of the ski resort from where dining options and shops are easily accessible. The Family Room is of decent size for 3 people (myself and two teenagers) and had all the usual amenities. Bidets are not typical in the country so don’t expect to see one here. Breakfast came with my booking and we got to try the typical food for this time of day. No Western breakfast available from the buffet. The selection does not vary per day so maybe keep that in mind if you’re staying for more than a couple of days. There are some food options outside but not a lot in the early morning. Most shops and restaurants open at 10am. Customer service is exceptional and probably what we loved most about our stay. Mr. Lang, the English-speaking concierge, was very attentive and went above and beyond for us, making sure we took full advantage of the amenities such as the free movie tickets and hot spring sessions. He took great care explaining how to rent equipment and pay for ski passes to us noobs and we really appreciate that.

Tan bueno como siempre, pero el precio también es bueno ^_^ Es un hotel junto al mar durante la temporada alta de turismo. La actitud del servicio es buena. Me gusta. Después de quedarme un día menos en el apartamento, vine aquí a descansar.

El hotel es un hotel con sauna y primavera caliente, aunque es más caro que los otros hoteles, creí que estaba bien. He estado en muchos hoteles donde el uso de la piscina y la sauna ya están incluidos cuando reservamos una habitación, así que esto es algo que me ha chocado. El hotel es limpio, pero el sofá parece tener errores. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de restaurantes, tienda de conveniencia y fácil de llegar. El desayuno tiene muchas opciones.

The room is spacious and bright, the interior furniture is beautifully arranged and novel, and the front desk nana service is very thoughtful, which is really pleasant!

The hotel is very conveniently located, super close to the subway station and easy to reach from the train station. There are lots of facilities available at the hotel at different prices: kids playground and sauna’s, swimming pool, spa, massages etc. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel for families that want to have a relaxing trip.
