Disappointing — Not the Taj Experience I Expected I stayed one night at Taj Cape Town and, having stayed, worked, and studied at other Taj properties worldwide, I left feeling that this hotel does not deliver the signature “Taj” experience. Location: Excellent — centrally located and convenient for business and sightseeing. Rooms: Very good. The guest room was well-appointed, comfortable, and met the standard I expect from a five-star property. No complaints on accommodations. Food & Beverage: Below expectations for a Taj. The breakfast buffet was serviceable but average — acceptable for a quick meal, but nothing memorable in terms of variety, presentation, or quality. The on-site Asian restaurant is extremely small (about five tables) and suffers from poor ventilation: the exhaust does not appear to function adequately, so the space quickly fills with an oily cooking smell that lingers and detracts from the dining experience. The food itself was below the quality I would expect from a Taj-branded restaurant. Service & Brand Feel: This is where the hotel most noticeably misses the mark. While staff were professional, the overall atmosphere lacked the warm, polished service and attention to detail that distinguishes other Taj properties I have experienced. It felt more like a standard city hotel operating under the Taj name rather than a hotel delivering the full Taj brand promise. Value: Concerning. The hotel charges approximately INR 2,000 per day for parking — a steep add-on that should be clearly communicated up front and factored into the overall value proposition. Summary: The location and rooms are strong points, but the average breakfast, a small and poorly ventilated Asian restaurant, and an overall absence of the characteristic Taj hospitality leave this property short of expectations. If you are seeking the classic Taj experience, this particular hotel may not meet that standard.

A beautiful hotel, centrally located with easy access to sight seeing locations and shopping. The staff were kind and friendly and the service excellent! Would definitely return again for a little staycation.

The Westin, Cape Town, is an old hotel, but it continues to maintain its presence, quality, and some high standard in Cape Town. We stayed here for 8 days, during a friend's 60th birthday celebration event in Cape Town. We occupied an executive room and were also given access to the executive club on the 19th floor. The room was very nice, with good linen, bed of high standard. That said, we had to lodge a complaint on the hurried nature of how our room was cleaned on our second day of stay. The bed was not made properly, the carpet floor wasn't clean, and the bathroom was half cleaned. It's not good for a 5-star hotel. After complaining, the housekeeper made amends, and the cleaning standard was raised to the highest standard for the duration of our stay. We also ordered food from room service and half of what we ordered were not brought - they gave us something else, but after waiting for 45 mins for the original order to be brought to us we reluctabtly accepted the wrong order, ate the food and then lodged our complaints later. The breakfast buffet was alright, but there weren't great selections of cold meats in the cold meat section. They really need to improve on this. Lastly, the overall service delivery by some of the staff really need serious improvement. Some of the staff in the restaurant are way too loud when talking to each other, and some of them even give out bad unwelcoming and nonchalant attitude/vibe to their customers. It is like they feel that they're doing us, their clients, a favour by serving us. Not good enough for a hotel of this standard, abd some of those staff need to be retrained. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at The Westin and we will definitely come back there when next we visit Cape Town.

Room: spacious, clean and comfortable. Our room was on the highest floor and it was quiet. If you’re traveling with an elderly, just be cautious as the shower floor is extremely slippery. One downside is that water pressure and temperature is not very stable. Location: situated in the heart of CBD, it’s a fairly safe area. Parking available for hotel guests and shuttle available to V&A Waterfront Staff: Front desk and lobby staff are friendly and welcoming. Security at the hotel and parking were also very friendly and helpful. Most staff at the restaurant were not as friendly (most but still a few staff was friendly and helpful and provided great service) Staff often forget guests’ drink orders as 2 days in a row, we did not get our tea during breakfast. I also ordered a cappuccino while waiting in front or the coffee machine however I was forgotten as well. I was better off making my own coffee. Breakfast: They served standard American style breakfast with selection of fruits, pastries and salads. Their hashbrowns were my favourites! If only the food can be a little different everyday, we stayed there for 4 days and had the same food everyday. Overall, we enjoyed our stay room but restaurant staffs’ service and attitude can be improved.

Muy bueno, limpio, vivir en el nivel superior puede aprovechar la belleza de Putin, especialmente cuando se levanta temprano, muy bueno, también hay muchos tipos de desayuno, muy delicioso, vale la pena recomendar,

El hotel está situado en el centro de la CBD. Se encuentra más cerca de muchas instalaciones locales y una larga calle. El desayuno tiene varias opciones y el restaurante está abierto hasta muy tarde de la noche y cuenta con cocinas locales e internacionales como la corta costilla coreana y el rollo de primavera vietnamita. El hotel tiene el Grotto Spa, que recomiendo muy bien.

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is a league of it's own. Our driver picked us up from Cape Town and it took about 2 and a half hours to reach the gate of Sanbona From the gate to our glamping tents was another 90 mins drive into an expansive dessert - 62,000 hectares We got real lucky and saw Lionesses, Cheetah, Giraffes, Hippos, Rhinos, Baboons, Elephants etc. Our Guide Joe was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable The glamping tents were so spacious, connecting you right back to nature with outdoor showers, jacuzzi etc Our meals were fantastic, and they can accommodate to most dietary restrictions. We ended up trying both the Springbok, Kudu, Hake, Kingklip - all local delicacies Love how South African wines were included in our full board experience allowing us to sample Bruts, Rosé and even their Pinotage We ended the evening stargazing as usual, this time being able to see both the Southern and Northern Hemispheree

This stay was absolutely magnificent from arrival to departure, upgraded as we arrived at the hotel. The staff, incredible! Always doing more than asked, going out of their way to assist in making plans, arranging transport or just providing extra information. Shout out to Claudia, who was patient and articulate. She stopped her work in order to attend to me at all times. Shout out to Dewald, humorous, witty and exquisitely piquant. Always up for a conversation amd willing to make anything amd everything more convenient for the guests. Rennia and Alice, ebullient and light-hearted, i felt the care and meticulous nature of their work through all they did, and the smiles they provided, thank you! The entire staff, quite warm and accommodating! Clean room, aesthetically modern and quaint. 100% recommended, convenient location for all your needs!

La habitación es muy bonita, es la residencia más satisfactoria de esta vez. La ventana está en la montaña de mesa, realmente tan hermosa, no se dice nada sobre la salida del sol, el caer del sol y la vista de la noche. Quisiera vivir en la historia de la fabulosa. El servicio es muy bueno!! No sé por qué alguien dice que no es bueno en la evaluación!! Una niña viaja por sí sola, no se atreve a ir al centro de la ciudad, el gerente del hall del hotel camina conmigo a la estación y me ayude a tomar fotos todo el camino. Semos muy buenos amigos. Todo el hotel revela la belleza de la antigua carta, desde el pasillo de la sala hasta el puerto del patio trasero, es tan hermoso. Creo que es mucho mejor que el 1w al lado de la noche, y la vista de la casa es muy hermosa. ¡La desayuno de autobús también es genial!! ¡Eso es genial! ¡Eso es muy adecuado para mi cabeza de reproducción. Me gusta comer un muslo, pero el día siguiente es diferente en el grado de la comida, y luego cocinaba un poco más para mí. Hay una cena muy buena abajo, la chef/propietario es una dama, los platos contienen muchas interpretaciones culturales, es genial. Hay una comida para acoger a Michelle Obama. Es sorprendente que aquí haya sido donde también se asciende el feminismo. Durante muchos días, este es uno de los hoteles más favoritos de mi vida.

El desayuno del hotel era muy bueno. La vista fue muy inspiradora. La habitación tenía un gran café disponible. El personal era muy útil y amigable. El gerente de ojos de Brown era muy paciente con mi abuela y muy profesional. La ventilación del baño fue un poco problemática y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba. La piscina está calentada y se mira hacia las estrellas que se inspiran. En general, recomendaría definitivamente este hotel.
