Marvellous experience started by warm welcome from hotel staff and then the cozy and clean hotel room. Dining experience exceeded my expectations. Food were fabulous.

El servicio de atención al cliente en la recepción fue deficiente. ¡Quizás todavía era nuevo! Quiero que practiques un poco más. Como viajo con niños, me gustaría que me avisaran al hacer el check-in si no hay ropa de niños en la habitación. Entonces no tendrás que ir a recogerlo cada vez. Creo que si pudieran solucionar eso, podría brindar un mejor servicio al cliente.  Te deseo lo mejor.

The hotel suite is 100m2 and is huge . Our suite was with 3 futons, perfect for 3 gentlemen. The huge bathroom was well supplied with the nicest cosmetic amenities and fluffy towels. Everything in the refrigerator was free, even wines. However we did not consume any. The Club lounge on the fifth floor was already well supplied with all kinds of snacks, beverages and wines, open from morning to late night. We had a Japanese breakfast on day and a western breakfast on the second day. Both were excellent.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Kashikojima Hojoen. The Japanese-style hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, and the dinner was absolutely fantastic — a full Japanese-style meal experience that was both refined and satisfying. The facilities are reasonably maintained, and the highlight for us was the outdoor onsen — incredibly relaxing, peaceful, and enjoyable. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this ryokan/resort to anyone visiting the Ise–Shima area for a true Japanese experience.

We stayed at ocean view the staff was absolutely amazing.We had japanese course for dinner absolutely great the lobster and abalone steaks were excellent and breakfast too..The bad side is the club lounge not available and the guest room toilet was old and not totally clean there is hair on the floor disappointing 🙁

Truly most stunning architecture. We chose a “Villa” that’s stone n wood. We love the attention to detail of everything in the room. I was so relaxed I fell asleep on the sofa n missed the heavenly bed w/the fluffiest duvet on Earth. We love the eel kaiseki dinner which was so delicious. The best part was going to their sister property Aqua Ignis which is a huge hotel w/many outdoor onsens. The H Confectionary cake sweets shop was out of the world! I got some chocolate balls w/cream inside, too yummy for words. Also had a great massage in the spa by the kindest n most passionate masseuse Doy. We’ll go back n stay there soon

•the hotel is very big and it take a long walk from the lobby to the room and the room to the onsen •the room was decorated simply muji style and was spacious •the onsens was near the lobby and the water is not hotspring water but herbal/floral water •although the onsen was spacious but the onsen was dirty; there are hair floating on the surface of the water everywhere •the onsen outdoor is only lukewarm and there were insects floating • there are shampoo and shower cream provided but there are no body lotion provided in the makeup room the hairdryer is not good •you have to make reservationfor the breakfast in the morning beforehand otherwise our choice might not be available •you can choose to eat breakfast from 5-6 restaurants and there is time slots to choose from •we chose the 9:00am time slot for the ochazake set it was a traditional japanese breakfast some of is didn’t enjoy it because it has too limited choice •we walked around the hotel it was huge we went to the organic farm house to shop for local goods and went to drink coffee sarutahiko the cofee and matcha was soo goodd must try!

I have two feelings about this stay. 1. The photo posted by this website was a lie - the room was very different to the reality. For a start there was no in room onsen and that had been a major factor in me making this booking. I was really disappointed on arrival. 2. However it has to be said the staff are fabulous, the food excellent and everything about the place shows a tremendous attention to detail. After a lovely long soak in the Onsen available to guests and a fabulous dinner my mood was quite recovered. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for someone looking for a luxurious retreat and plan to return myself.
