What an amazing experience this hotel is, and it is an experience in every sense of the word. Attention to detail drives everything here from the manager, who personally welcomed me, down to the trainee who asked if I need an evening ‘turn down’ of my room. Nothing is too much trouble. The colonial era architecture and decor is beautiful in this hotel that is 123 years old, but nothing is in any way tired. The staff are awesome and the food is excellent. My room was simply the best I’ve ever stayed in.

My 7th stay at Roseate House in Delhi once again affirmed my fondness for this property. Despite the rooms being a bit small, the overall atmosphere of the hotel remains exceptionally welcoming, exuding a nice vibe that is notably ***aged by a youthful and dynamic team. The breakfast continues to be a highlight, offering a delightful start to the day with its quality and variety. However, after staying here over the last four years, I've noticed a lack of significant changes or updates to the rooms. To maintain its appeal and comfort, it's time for the hotel to consider some renovation work in the rooms, ensuring that the physical environment matches the high standards of service and hospitality that keep me coming back.

Ha sido una estancia muy agradable. La habitación está muy limpia y tranquila; la cama es muy cómoda, con diferentes tipos de almohadas: suaves y firmes, una combinación perfecta. El baño está limpio y la ducha tiene buena presión. ¡El desayuno buffet es excelente! El personal fue muy amable y atento, desde el guardia de seguridad hasta el personal de recepción y del restaurante. ¡Todos fueron muy cordiales, amables y serviciales! Prince en recepción y Biru en el buffet de desayuno fueron muy acogedores y serviciales. ¡Muchas gracias! En general, la amabilidad y la cálida bienvenida me han dejado una impresión muy memorable. The Taj Mahal Delhi is a beautiful hotel with splendid decor and an old school ambience. However, some of the underlying cost cutting is noticeable. The breakfast buffet for example is anything but - with a handful of items such as bread and rudimentary cereal laid out but anything substantial needs to be ordered and it arrives in due time in small portions. It's awkward to know how many times can one order in the circumstances. Another example occured when I changed some currency at the hotel. I expected the rate to be bad and it was, but this was not an issue. I am happy to pay for luxury and convenience. However, what irked me slightly was when the staff explained that there was no change so she couldn't give me 60 INR. It's a very small amount but I felt it was a liberty - imagine offering currency exchange at an exorbitant rate but you don't have currency. Other than that we had a good stay. The pool was stunning as was my beautiful club suite. It was a very generous size and beautifully designed with views over the pool and Delhi beyond - a real oasis in noisy and bustling Delhi. The club lounge is ok but not really worth paying for - the timings for high tea etc are so inconvenient that you won't be able to use them. Overall, this was still a good stay and probably the best hotel for the price in this part of town.

I stayed here for 6 nights. The hotel is quite outdated and in need of refurbishment. The room was spacious, and they provided complimentary water generously. However, the elevator was very slow, and it took a long time to go up to the room. Unfortunately, the front office team was not helpful at all. I felt they were quite new. They arranged my car going to Taj Mahal 30 minutes late, and the front office staff insisted that I was mistaken. It was very frustrating because I had proof and a message sent to the concierge requesting the car at 5:00 AM. I ended up calling the Night Manager to report the issue. The saving grace was the hotel driver (Ardos—apologies if I spelled his name incorrectly), who provided excellent customer service. He was very good and made sure I was comfortable throughout the journey. He is a wonderful staff member who truly goes above and beyond. He was very helpful and kind. Someone like him should be well taken care of by the management. Kudos to him!

Es una excelente opción a medianoche o temprano por la mañana si necesitas algo rápido para un vuelo temprano. El café estaba bueno. La piscina es preciosa; tenía muchas ganas de probarla. Ubicación Excelente ubicación, a solo 7 minutos a pie del centro comercial y los restaurantes principales. Hay restaurantes muy buenos y la zona de comidas ofrece una gran variedad. Probé un restaurante esta vez y me encantó. Servicio El servicio de limpieza fue excelente. Al anochecer, el equipo llamó a mi puerta, fueron muy amables y me preguntaron si necesitaba algo. Fueron muy atentos e hicieron todo lo posible para que me sintiera cómoda. Tenía una consulta sobre las funciones del televisor inteligente. El señor vino enseguida y fue muy amable. Recogida en el aeropuerto. Raju fue muy puntual, educado y amable. ¡Gracias! Agradecí especialmente que el servicio de recogida tuviera solo un cartel del hotel, en lugar de un cartel grande con mi nombre, algo que no suele ocurrir en otros hoteles. Un detalle muy considerado. (Otros: No necesito dos mesas en la habitación. Si se pudieran reemplazar por un sofá, sería aún mejor). En resumen: una estancia muy cómoda, personal amable y volveré. ¡Gracias!

El exterior parece muy lujoso, pero las instalaciones del interior son bastante antiguas. Se siente como al menos 20 años. El espacio de la habitación es relativamente grande, pero muchas de las cosas que contiene son viejas y antiguas. La temperatura es solo un poco por hora y el desayuno es bastante normal, pero se estima que a los indios locales les gustará.

This hotel location is 100% ideal but more than that is the service & hospitality. Sauraub front desk manager is incredibly accommodating & always ready to find prompt solution to any issues. As I was not happy with the room that was given even though I booked & paid for a nicer one, he immediately understood my valid concern & found a solution on the spot. Restaurant staff & food (many choices in buffet) are outstanding & my compliments to the chefs & management of the restaurant. Always a smile & always ready to assist. Great training & congratulations for a job well done!
