I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and most of that is thanks to the incredible service from the staff. Before my arrival, I had made a few special requests, particularly because I was traveling with my mom, who has difficulty walking. The hotel was incredibly accommodating and helpful every step of the way. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, they even arranged transportation for my mom to the spa and helped us with other needs. I am so grateful and thankful for their kindness and attention to detail. The room itself was spacious, and the hotel is just beautiful. The location is also great, which made everything even more perfect. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for exceptional hospitality!

Es bueno. El alojamiento para descansar antes y después de escalar el volcán es básicamente de nivel doméstico de cinco estrellas. La actitud y el servicio son muy buenos. Hace que la gente se sienta muy cómoda. El ambiente de la habitación es bueno, hay un restaurante y se puede. Consigue una habitación. Puedes retrasar el check-out hasta las 12:30 y puedes agregar más más tarde. La piscina de Qianyou es muy cómoda. Una mención especial es que el piso 11 tiene todo lo que necesitas para experimentar la comida indonesia.

Westin Surabaya is a beautiful property with gorgeous views and amenities and impeccable service to match. The pool and surrounds are pleasant for swimming. The Club room is very comfortable, quiet and feels fresh all round. The heavenly bed is such a delight to sleep in. The Club lounge is one of the most outstanding hotel lounges I have frequented. The views from the 39th floor are divine whether day or night. Service levels in the Club lounge are impeccable from each and every staff member.. so welcoming, professional with beautiful hospitality. Food selection, drinks and comfort all round. Nila and all of her lovely colleagues are truly at an inspiring level of excellence.

This was our second time staying at this hotel, and once again it exceeded our expectations in the best possible way. We arrived shortly after 12pm, fully prepared to leave our bags and wander around until the standard 3pm check-in time. To our pleasant surprise, the team offered us an early check-in without hesitation — a gesture that felt like an unexpected upgrade to our entire day. It’s the little things that truly make a big difference. We stayed in a Standard Deluxe room, and it was more than spacious enough for the both of us. Comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, it provided exactly the kind of restful environment we needed. It’s always a good sign when you enter the room and immediately feel like you can take a nap without questioning your life choices. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The spread was impressive, offering a good mix of local dishes, international options, and even Japanese selections. From savoury bites to sweet treats, there was something for every mood and every appetite. If breakfast is the “make or break” of a hotel stay, then this hotel definitely understood the assignment. I would also like to give a special mention to Rusli at the reception. His warm hospitality and professionalism helped set the tone for our stay right from the moment we stepped in. Another heartfelt shout-out goes to Igrima from the restaurant. Although she is still a trainee, her dedication, attentiveness, and genuine passion for service shone through clearly. She handled her duties with the confidence of someone who has worked in the industry for years — a true rising star in the team. Overall, our stay was memorable, comfortable, and pleasantly seamless. With consistent service and thoughtful touches like these, I’m confident that our third stay is not just likely — it’s inevitable. We’ll definitely be back again!

Comfortable Stay, Though a Bit Dated I chose this hotel for my first night in Surabaya because of its top rating among premium options. While the decor feels a bit dated, the room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, reaching 20°C for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was nicely presented and satisfying. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Booked for my friend, she brings her husband and her daughter. Her daughter very sureprised with their hospitality, every staff are welcome and give their big smile. The pool and jacuzy was so good, the room quite comfort but she said the breakfast should be improve for the taste.

Warm, friendly staff who gave good and practical advice about the protests and safety, much appreciated . Housekeeping was impeccable and thoughtful and really prompt with adhoc requests.  Rooms are large (size norms from a different time) and the mix of analog vintage features and updated features is charming. Clear and strong WIFI , clean rooms especially for tropical setting The buffet spread is excellent quality, clean and a good mix of delicious local and international continental options.  The spa is lovely, though service can vary - I had a lovely therapist and my friend’s therapist was using her phone during the session (which is not acceptable at any massage place, what more at this spot) incongruous with the very high service and hospitality standards set by the rest of the staff. Would come back and stay here again!

Tuve una estancia maravillosa en el Wyndham Surabaya. El hotel es elegante, moderno y está muy bien mantenido. La habitación era espaciosa, limpia y muy cómoda, con todas las comodidades que necesitaba. El servicio del personal fue impecable: atentos, amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Me encantó especialmente el desayuno, con una gran variedad de opciones deliciosas. Además, la piscina es estupenda para relajarse. La ubicación también es muy práctica para explorar la ciudad. Definitivamente recomendaría este hotel y volvería sin dudarlo.

Room Change at Midnight, Poor Sleep I had to switch rooms at midnight because the air conditioning couldn't cool below 20°C. The technician couldn’t fix it and advised me to call the duty manager. I had an early flight and needed rest, but the room change took time, and I was disturbed again by a late-night call offering a towel. I finally slept around 12:30 AM and had to wake up at 5:15 AM. On the bright side, the porter kindly gave me a breakfast bag before my early checkout. Still, I’m reconsidering staying here again—might opt for a 4-star hotel with better comfort next time.

I had a wonderful stay at Bumi Surabaya Resort Hotel. The place is absolutely beautiful, with a true resort vibe right in the heart of the city. The view is stunning, the Wi-Fi is super fast, and the food is genuinely delicious with a wide variety to choose from. What stood out the most was the exceptional hospitality – every staff member was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Surabaya, whether for business or leisure! I found nice squirrel to live in the tree nearby
