El hotel es excelente, no en vano es un hotel de cinco estrellas de larga trayectoria. El encargado del estacionamiento fue muy eficiente, en cuanto le dije que me alojaba en el hotel, inmediatamente me indicó un lugar. El recepcionista también fue muy amable, enseguida me ofreció agua caliente, diciendo que el clima en Datong es seco y que un poco de agua caliente me vendría bien. Rooms are clean but a bit outdated. Gym is ok but the pool is nice. Overall a nice modern western hotel in a good location.

La ubicación no está en el centro histórico, pero un viaje en taxi cuesta solo unos diez yuanes, lo cual es aceptable. Se vuelve un poco caótico cuando el desayuno está lleno y encontrar un asiento puede ser difícil. Labor Day holiday, full DND stretches, just me and delivery apps. And honestly? It was exactly what I needed, and this hotel made it possible. Let me start with the moment that defined this stay. My housekeeper came in most days to refresh the room, and each time I'd ask for the same drinks. After a few days he just knew -- knew what I wanted, knew I wasn't feeling well. He'd heard me coughing while he cleaned and was clearly paying attention. On my last day, when I had DND up and didn't want any service at all, he quietly left a bag of my favorite drinks outside the door anyway. No knock, no disruption. Just a person who had been paying attention all week and wanted to take care of me. That kind of warmth doesn't come from a training manual. I won't forget it. The room itself held up beautifully for a long stationary stay. Clean, accurate to the photos, well-appointed. Floor-to-ceiling windows, two bathrooms, excellent shower pressure, generous storage, a proper tea set, and a beverage bar housekeeping kept replenished without being asked. The slippers were genuinely excellent -- better than some five-star properties I've stayed at. For seven nights of recovery during a national holiday, this hotel and its people delivered everything that mattered.

I playfully requested flower decorations on the bed, honeymoon-style—and to my surprise, the hotel fulfilled the request for free! My wife was ecstatic, and I was genuinely impressed by their willingness to go the extra mile. The breakfast and lunch were delicious, with halal food options available. The hotel is in a convenient location, with easy access to various destinations. There's even a Bank of China next door, perfect for foreign currency exchange or cash withdrawals. Across the hotel, you'll find Ming Supermarket, which offers snacks at very low prices—great for souvenirs. There are also plenty of halal food vendors, including a Muslim-run lamb skewer stall and other street snacks, so you'll never go hungry. While the hotel staff's English skills are limited, communication was smooth using Google Translate. The front desk even taught me how to order food online using *******. A highlight of our stay was their delivery robot, which brought food from the lobby directly to our room. It was impressive and fun to experience! I highly recommend Grand Metropark Wanshi Hotel for travelers seeking a delightful, hassle-free stay in Taiyuan. Their warm service and thoughtful amenities made our trip unforgettable.

i really like this hotel. Had some issue with my booing and the were very helpful to fix it. There is a welcome amenity with local snacks. The view is stunning facing directly to the main square. Close to subway and the food street. Breakfast is biflg with local delicacies. I would book it again anytim
