El lugar muy bonito si. Limpio, comodo, moderno, pero hay un folder donde entre otras reglas indica que de deben lavar y guardar los platos y utensilios de cocina que se utiliza, porque si tienen que limpiar mucho al hacer uno el check-out ”charges might apply” así tal cual lo dice. O sea que si tiene cocina y uno la utiliza pues debe dejar limpio Todo sino le cobran según su ”criterio” de cuán sucio esta. Mal eso, mal 👎🏻

The room was small being disappointing from other good IBIS Hotels have had bigger. In this case the ceiling had mould which is not good at all being left there. I should have asked to change rooms but stayed in it with little window viewing as well along with ventilation. The hallway stinks of cooked Indian food they need to put in air fresheners to take that bad ordour away. The staff were friendly and amenities were very plentiful. Suggest to have bigger bowls and cups being very little to eat from. Car parking is a problem at this place either on the street paying for it from 8:00am to 5:00pm or over in a mall car park for $10.00 a night. So factor that in if staying here. Better to get a place that provides it as it was a hassle to be up at 8:00am to go downstairs and pay for this each morning. Overall for money and value feel could have done better else where.

Beautiful lake views. Super clean and well maintained specially inside the room. Warm and friendly owner with good recommendations on restaurant & cafe. Te Anau is a small town with proper choices of restaurants, cafes & bars. Good choice for stopover to Milford’s cruise ride.

Excelente alojamiento en el fondo del sur. Las habitaciones estaban calientes, frescas y relajadas. Usamos el estacionamiento de la valeta, que era bastante barato y el coche estaba estacionado en seguridad durante la noche. El hotel ofrece muchas opciones para comer y beber, lo que le ofrece muchas opciones en una noche fría y húmeda. Estoy ansioso por nuestra próxima visita.

Good value for money. This accommodation focuses on functionality and practicality, making it ideal as a base for exploring Milford Sound/Doubtful Sound. Guests appreciated the comfortable beds, clean rooms, and convenient location near the lake.However, a few kitchen amenities would be helpful.

Everything was great except for room smelling very musky upon entry. Open the window for ventilation. Great location for everything Appreciate the drinking water dispenser on every floor.

Tuvimos una estancia estupenda en el hotel Kingsgate de Te Anau. Nos recibió un gerente muy amable y el registro fue muy sencillo. La ubicación es excelente, justo enfrente del lago y a unas 2,5 horas de Milford Sound. La habitación era amplia y agradable. No pudimos probar la cena ni el desayuno. Hubiera preferido que el baño tuviera ventilación, ya que olía mal durante un rato. Sin duda, volveríamos a alojarnos allí.

Excelente valor para el motel de dinero. Limpia y cómoda. Reservaría de nuevo.

We had a spacious room, room has fantastic sea view, room is 1 minute walk to the beach, can see dolphins in the evening. Motel near to the Penguin walk area and few hiking trails.Kitchen has stove, hot plate but no oven. Only knew the washer available on common area after check out. As our car break down, friendly host allowed us to use the common toilet and offer us drinks while waiting for technical.

We came here for a two night stop at Te Anau to Milford sounds. Fabulous vintage house with recent renovation and fully equipped kitchen and laundry. We had a wonderful at this villa. It’s easy to get to town centre, around 3-4 mins drive. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood. We were even able to stargaze just outside the house. I would come back again if I happen to pass by Te Anau.
