My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!

Estaba un poco decepcionado. Estaba esperando que esto fuera un lugar de 5 estrellas, pero había muchas cosas que no eran definitivamente 5 estrellas. Las ropas eran grises y no cubriban a las personas mayores. Uno de ellos estaba rociando todo, ni siquiera quería llevarlo. La puerta de la habitación se ahogó fuertemente, así que si una persona llegó al baño en medio de la noche, despertó a la otra persona. Había instrucciones sobre cómo usar el baño, pero no sobre cómo poner el plug-in. No sólo plug-in normalmente. No podíamos usarlo en nuestra primera noche, que fue muy frustrante, ya que fue una de nuestras principales atracciones. Alguien vino a ver y dijo que tenías que girar un cono en el lado del spa, ¿cómo lo sabría? El bloqueo en la puerta exterior se rompió y se puso un pequeño bloqueo de deslizamiento. ¿Por qué no arreglar el bloqueo principal? La casa de baño es muy buena, pero no es muy buena. La peor cosa fue en nuestra última mañana, nos dio el desayuno a las 8:45, el restaurante se cierra a las 9:30. Había huevos continentales y bacon con escombros. A las 9:00 se detuvieron trayendo más pan para tost. No se sacaron más croissants, huevos ni bacon. Había alrededor de 6 mesas con los huéspedes y todos seguían subiendo y comprobando, pero no se rellenaban. Pero por alguna razón el cuidador siguió levantando las cucharas al huevo y al bacon para ver lo que estaba allí, pero por supuesto no había nada como no lo había relleno y era el único cuidador!! Estaba muy decepcionado y no lo recomendaría, a menos que usted reciba un descuento muy bueno.

Spacious room and conveniently located in city centre. Friendly staff. On site parking is limited but the meter parking is free of charge from 6pm till 9am.

En general bien, cerca del aeropuerto, lejos del centro. Habitación OK. Pero la ventana catastróficamente mal aislada, entraba tanto el ruido (aviones!) como el frío (invierno!).

Had to lug our luggage ourselves, no help. Room is small but comfortable and clean. Bathroom size is reasonable. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. Location of hotel is quite central, we drive around. Parking is on street. And start paying after 11am, but free from 6pm to next day 9am.

The room is clean, logistic location in the city centre. 4 minutes walk to Te Pae Convention Centre. However, breakfast buffet everyday is same and not much choice. There will be extra charge required for cafe latte, cappuccino.

We stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom lake view suite, it was well appointed and stylish, huge kitchen and living area and amazing views over the lake. However, for 4 adults, a single bathroom at this price point is unacceptable. Not even a powder room with a second toilet. Also, the bathroom fan and heater sounds like a jet engine in the second bedroom, which woke us up. Poor water pressure in the shower too. When we arrived both rooms were made up as single queen beds and we needed one changed to a twin. I called reception and was put on hold then hung up on after several minutes wait, two times. Then I tried calling again 5 times and the phone rang out. When I finally got through I was given attitude about the request to change one to a twin. Then we had to call again after 2 hours as nobody had been sent to split the beds. Oh also the mattress’ are firm and you can feel the springs. Not luxurious at all.

Kevin y June son amables y accesibles. Las habitaciones están equipadas con las comodidades básicas. La ubicación es conveniente ya que estamos conduciendo. El único desventaja es nuestras habitaciones están en el nivel superior y no hay ascensor.

Excellent services as they helped us to put our luggage’s into our room before we checked in, warm greetings by the front desk staffs, and superb location as only few steps walk to Airport and bus station to Christchurch city. Highly recommended to everyone!

La habitación con balcón se encontraba en el centro de la ciudad, y la construcción comenzó a la calle los días de la semana. El hotel es un hotel de 3 estrellas con un servicio de 3 estrellas. En el restaurante, la ama de la cama y el servicio de almuerzo tenía su pulgar dentro de la bebida y limpió el vidrio con un pantalón usado, cuando me acercaba al bar y me di cuenta tranquilamente, Me dijeron que me quedara ahí para verla hacer otra para asegurarse de que la bebida estaba limpia.
