I understand that this is the largest hotel in Kuantan and it is imposing. They decorated enthusiastically for Christmas. The rooms are large enough with clean linens and a firm mattress. The location is great since it's across the road from the largest mall. The coffee lounge was satisfactory. The main problem area was that almost no one spoke basic English well enough to understand simple requests. They try and mean well but only a few could understand what I wanted. This was very frustrating. We stayed in this hotel three years ago as well, and there was not this problem at that time. Also, the safe in our room did not work.

This hotel is very suitable for a business trip. The room is clean, neat, and comfortable for resting after a long day of meetings. The internet connection is fast and stable, which is very helpful for work. The location is strategic, close to restaurants and transportation. The check-in and check-out process is quick and efficient. The staff are friendly and professional. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would consider staying here again for future business trips

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, enjoying the beautiful and comfortable environment, as well as the kids-friendly facilities and easy access to the beach. However, we did notice that the swimming pool area had some safety concerns. There were broken tiles and cracks around the swimming pool, which could pose a safety risk, especially for children. Additionally, we noticed some yellow stains on the bedsheets. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but attention to these maintenance issues would definitely improve the experience.

The room was spacious, perfect for a small family. The highlight, of course, was the view, sea and pool views that were absolutely lovely. One night was definitely not enough. Just open the window and you’ll feel the sea breeze; so calm and so beautiful. Breakfast was fairly normal, nothing fancy. If you’re not local, I’d recommend going out for breakfast around Kuantan town, there are so many great options to choose from. For dinner, Ana Ikan Bakar Petai is just right in front of the hotel. It’s the most famous restaurant in Tanjung Lumpur and within walking distance. Definitely will come again for a short vacay.

Room is clean and comfortable with reasonable price. Solo traveller for business. Come with complimentary breakfast, simple and tasty. Recommended for who travel to Kauntan.

The hotel room is just ok. AC not so cold. Hotel Staff hotel is helpful n friendly. Parking free provided by the hotel just at the back of the hotel. Breakfast just ok. Easy to get food n drink by walking distance.

We booked two rooms with a connecting door, which was extremely convenient for a short vacation with our parents, who are senior citizens. The connecting rooms made it easier to move around, keep an eye on them, and ensured everyone felt comfortable and secure throughout the stay. It was definitely the right choice for a family trip. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with a calm and modern ambience. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was clean, and the overall setup was perfect for resting after a long journey. The hotel location is also strategic, close to Kuantan town and easy to access nearby eateries. Overall, AC Hotel Kuantan is highly recommended for family stays, short getaways, and travelling with elderly parents. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Excelente servicio del amable equipo del hotel. ¡Fueron muy amables y serviciales! La habitación con vista al mar era agradable y estaba limpia. Hay una gran variedad de cocinas para desayunar, y me encanta que incluyeran una variedad de kuihs malasios, ¡lo cual me trae un toque de nostalgia! El servicio de habitaciones es un poco caro, pero vale la pena. La playa y la piscina también están limpias. En general, una estancia muy agradable y relajante.

We had such a pleasant family getaway at Colmar Tropicale with our two little ones. The whole experience was smooth and enjoyable from the moment we checked in. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when it came to assisting us with bags and stroller access — something we truly appreciate as parents of two babies! The French-inspired village is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for slow family walks and photos. Our room was clean, spacious enough for the babies’ essentials, and comfortable for all of us. We also loved how calm the environment was, making nap times easy.

The exterior of the hotel appears quite old, but the rooms are clean, neat, and well-maintained. The main highlight of this hotel is the mini water park and swimming pool, which are a big hit with the kids. They had a great time, making it a fun and enjoyable stay for families.
