This is a good hotel right by the central train station and not too far away from the main sights of Luxembourg City. Getting around the city is easy with frequent teams, busses and trains from the nearby station and all public transport is free within the country! The room was good and the beds/pillow were comfy. The room is a bit small but we had enough space to put our things including some space under the bed for our bags. They had a small table in the room with a chair, some shelving and a pretty big TV for the room size. The bathroom was good too with some decent shower products and while most of the room and bathroom appeared clean they seemed to be having some issues with the shower ceiling and that could use some attention. We picked this hotel for the location and the affordable breakfast option because we only had a day to explore Luxembourg and felt the hotel breakfast would be a good start to our day. The breakfast had a nice selection of breads including a seasonal pastry, a pancake machine, cereals, yoghurt and some nice deli meats and cheeses. The juice and coffee machine were also pretty good and they had some to go cups for the tea/coffee. The location of the hotel is maybe not the best for families because it is surrounded by gentleman's clubs and possibly the red light area of Luxembourg. We didn't see anything too bad but would exercise a degree of caution in this area. There are a few restaurants, bars and quite a few shops nearby. We booked this hotel mainly because it was affordable and would consider staying here again to save some money while travelling through Europe. Being here during the Christmas Market season was fantastic and there are lots of nice things to do around the city.

Habitación: espaciosa, cama cómoda. El personal es amable y servicial. Mi habitación estaba reservada con agua incluida, pero cuando le pregunté a un miembro del personal de recepción, me dio una botella gratis. Muy amable de su parte. Ubicación: aunque un poco alejado del centro, el hotel es tranquilo y está en una zona verde. El acceso al transporte público gratuito o a los autobuses cercanos facilita el acceso al centro. Disfruté mucho de mi estancia. Gracias.

The hotel is along a quaint street that's almost like uninhabited on a Sunday. I like that there's a bus stop right at the doors that helps with getting around easily. But there's essentially nothing much in the surroundings. The hotel reception is at the bar, one may mistaken it for the bar counter instead. The lobby has a bar vibe, I guess much in line with the brewery history of this building. Room is a little small for 2 persons, leaves little space for moving around if 2 luggages are opened concurrently. I like the open wardrobe concept but I don't get why the electrical sockets need to be hidden behind the side table. The room is also generally very dim and dark, even with all lights switched on. They also provide a bottle of drinking water, just 1 per day and additional bottles are chargeable. Which I felt was a little rigid considering how expensive a room night costs here. The toilet is separate from the shower area which does not have a door. The standing shower has no shower curtain and is half covered, where the water just spills all over outside of the shower area. The bed is firm and comfortable but pillows are too soft for my liking, hardly any support. Room is always clean, kudos to the housekeeping team. Overall, an acceptable stay, but pricey.

Un hotel encantador con el clásico encanto de un hotel ”grande”. Estaba muy limpio, el personal nos atendió de maravilla y tuvimos la suerte de tener vistas justo enfrente del monumento dorado del recuerdo. A solo 5 minutos a pie de la plaza central. Mi único comentario es que las camas son muy blandas. Teníamos dos individuales con ruedas juntas, lo cual no fue muy cómodo para mi pareja, ¡pero para mí estuvo bien! La habitación incluye persianas casi opacas, albornoces y las comodidades habituales.

Este es un hotel bastante nuevo, de estilo minimalista. Está situado entre dos estaciones de tranvía, lo que lo hace muy conveniente. Cerca del nuevo centro comercial Cloche D'or (con un gran supermercado, patio de comidas y tiendas) y del estadio. La habitación está limpia y no es muy grande, pero es suficiente para dos personas. Si quieres ir al centro, solo tienes que tomar el tranvía en dirección a Hamilius. Muy fácil. Para ir a la estación central, Gare Centrale, también puedes tomar el tranvía. Solo hay una línea de tranvía, así que es muy sencillo. No está muy lejos de P+R Bouillon (si tomas Flix Bus), hay un autobús directo que te lleva y te trae del hotel. Reservamos una furgoneta taxi por 17,7 € para ir a P+R Bouillon a las 5 de la mañana. Ah... se me olvidó mencionar que puedes tomar café, té, agua y chocolate gratis en el salón común. ¡Me encantó esto!

El hotel no está en una zona animada de la ciudad, por lo que hay poca gente alrededor y es tranquilo. Se tarda cinco minutos andando hasta la estación de tranvía y unos 10 minutos en tranvía hasta el centro de la ciudad y la estación de tren. Afortunadamente, los tranvías y autobuses de Luxemburgo son gratuitos. El desayuno es un poco sencillo, solo se proporciona una botella de agua mineral gratis en ocupación doble 😂

I had a great experience at Marriott Luxembourg even though it was a short one-night stay. Arrived in the morning which was few hours early than their 4pm check-in time. However the reception girl was able to locate a room and allow me to check-in around 11:30am, super helpful that I could carry minimal while getting around and sightseeing the beautiful city. Love the convenient location, right opposite the Central Train station. Buses and trams right at the door step. Strongly recommended.

Eligi Sofitel Le Grand Ducal para un nuevo año, esperando un alto nivel de confort y servicio. La experiencia comenzó con cierta decepción al check-in, incluyendo la incoherencia en el servicio y una habitación inicial que se sentía fría y no cumplía plenamente las expectativas. Sin embargo, después de compartir mis preocupaciones, el equipo del hotel se ocupaba de la situación profesionalmente y hizo un gran esfuerzo para mejorar mi estancia. Me ofreció un cambio de habitación a una habitación más caliente y de categoría superior, junto con una amable tarjeta de disculpa y chocolates escritos a mano, que realmente aprecié. La mejor manera de hacerlo es que el hotel ha escuchado y ha actuado. Espero que este feedback ayude al hotel a mantener una experiencia de servicio más coherente desde el principio para todos los huéspedes.

Tuvimos una grata estadía aquí Todo es simplemente perfecto El personal de recepción es muy servicial y siempre te recibe con una gran sonrisa. La cama es muy cómoda y el desayuno buffet es delicioso. Está a sólo 15 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad.

The single room I booked was clean, but quite small and simple - I would even call it spartan. The staff was not very friendly; I would have expected a bit more. Still, I was not turned away :). The location is convenient, close to both the historical center and the European Quarter. I would stay there again, but without any high expectations.
