I was impressed with everything from the moment I arrived. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, making the stay even more pleasant. The room was spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything I needed—it truly felt like staying in a private apartment. It was very comfortable and convenient. My favorite part was definitely the onsen. It was very large and offered several different baths to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful. What made it even better was that it was open all night until morning, so I could enjoy it anytime I wanted. It was such a wonderful experience, and I would definitely love to stay here again💛

The hotel is really worth the price! Cleanliness: good! Nearly perfect; there are still some hairs inside the toilet, but the rest is really good! Keep it up! Facilities: They have free water to drink near the elevator. I really love that! They also have an express checkout box in front of the hotel to save time! The wifi is good. The design is also minimal and luxurious~~ they also have shoes adjustment stick! the staff: They’re nice and do their jobs perfectly! Location: It’s around a 6-7 min walk from JR Sapporo, and they have a delicious place to hang out next to the hotel! space: my room has a semi-double bed, so it’s slightly bigger than usual. It’s a normal Japan hotel size! If you are tall or have a big body, you might find it’s uncomfortable, but for me it’s fine, and there’s some space to pack my luggage!

We faced major comfort problems unique to this establishment. Having stayed in six different hotels during our trip, this was the only one that presented these issues. The primary problem was the temperature control. Despite setting the room to a cool 18^{\circ}\text{C}, the room remained stiflingly hot. Staff explained that the system was set to heat for the winter, leaving guests without adequate cooling control. We were forced to request a standing fan just to achieve a bearable sleeping environment. Furthermore, we both experienced significant itchiness while sleeping on the bed. This is unacceptable and suggests a concerning issue with the bedding or mattress hygiene

Perfect location for one night stay, just a little bit confuse when check it, i went to the 2nd floor (beside domestic departure) and found entrance for a lift to 3rd floor lobby. Breakfast is provided and if extra time, u can visit the onsen on 4th floor which are quite far away from the hotel. Pls take note that the domestic terminal will close after 11:30pm and u cannot walk around in the terminal.

Hakodate JR station is just next to you. The room is quite spacious and clean. The bathroom will be slightly small, but is good enough. Very accessible everywhere. It will be better to drive in Hakodate as the public transportation is not as convenient as bigger cities like Osaka or Tokyo.. super valuable with the price I've booked. Breakfast has quite a few selections, however it will be slightly pricey for it. You can add on upon check in.

UUsuario invitadoI recently stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Sapporo and had a wonderful experience. The hotel feels brand new, with a modern and elegant design throughout. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out, with very comfortable bedding and great amenities. The location is convenient, close to Susukino and within easy reach of key attractions, yet the area feels calm and relaxed. The staff were attentive, professional, and always ready to help. Breakfast offered a good variety of both Japanese and Western options, and everything was fresh and well presented. Overall, it’s a stylish and comfortable choice in Sapporo, perfect for both leisure and business stays. I would definitely return on my next visit.

AAhmad MostafaAfter spending six days in MGallery Hotel Sapporo, I can safely say this is not an ordinary hotel. Reception at 5 pm was professional, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait. Well done. Takako and Cindy provided a warm, informative and professional service. The concierge was helpful and welcoming. Very useful in a freezing outdoor climate - thank you Alex.  My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely.  The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.  The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic! WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.  House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.  I had access to the executive lounge.  It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.  The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.  The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.  Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.  Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.  To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.  A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.   Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day! Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.  Thank you for a wonderful experience.

YYi ShieanFrom the moment we arrived at Mizu no Uta, Tsuruga Resort at Lake Shikotsu, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. Valet parking greeted us, and we were swiftly escorted to a path lined with zen music, setting the tone for a stay where every detail exudes serenity. Upon entering the reception, a majestic wooden carving of an owl, a powerful symbol of protection in Ainu culture, watched over us. In a delightful and intimate touch, we were asked to remove our shoes – a gesture that immediately made the resort feel like a sanctuary. Walking barefoot on soft wooden floors in such a refined environment felt like the ultimate indulgence. Live harp music floated through the air as we were led past a live fireplace, its warm flames inviting guests to roast marshmallows, adding a whimsical, yet homely feel to the elegant surroundings. The staff, attentive yet discreet, escorted us to our room via separate lifts, ensuring our luggage was seamlessly handled. Entering the room, we were struck by its sheer spaciousness. A half-sized fridge, thoughtfully included, perfectly stored all our chilled treats from the road trip. But the true star was the view: an uninterrupted panorama of lush greenery, stretching out to meet the serene waters of Lake Shikotsu. The combination of the stunning scenery and the luxurious in-room robe made us feel like chaebols, lounging in opulence and shielded from the cool lakeside breeze. As for the dining, the buffet at Mizu no Uta is nothing short of spectacular. Where many buffets struggle to balance quantity and quality, this resort excels at both. Highlights included a live dessert station and a live pizza-making corner, where thin-crust pizzas, surprisingly better than those from Furano’s famed Cheese Factory, were expertly prepared. The spread also featured an incredible assortment of sashimi – the freshest I encountered during my 1.5-week trip across various hotels. The salmon and mackerel, both raw and uniquely marinated in glass jars, were exceptional. The hot dishes maintained the same elevated standard. A simple tomato-based clam spaghetti was transformed by the quality of ingredients, while even the sautéed kailan was enhanced with the addition of Parma ham. Local produce, such as the fresh broccoli used in the cream-based dishes, lent an unmistakable brightness to each bite. The combination of Japanese and Western cuisine was balanced beautifully, with every plate delivering a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship. Of course, no stay at a lakeside resort would be complete without a visit to the onsen bath. While slightly smaller than the one at Lake Akan, the onsen here is far superior in cleanliness and upkeep. Conveniently, the bath is stocked with towels, so there’s no need to carry your own from the room. The experience is further enhanced by a sauna illuminated with soothing blue light, adding a layer of tranquility to the ritual. The open-air onsen is another highlight. For those who appreciate the purity of nature, the bath even features drinkable Lake Shikotsu water, renowned as one of Japan’s top 100 spring waters. This thoughtful touch, coupled with the stunning views, creates an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and luxurious.

::))My first visit to Otaru was truly unforgettable, all thanks to my experience at this wonderful hotel! Located just a pleasant 20-minute drive from Otaru Station, the hotel is nestled in a tranquil, private area that feels like stepping into a captivating wonderland. I was delighted to discover a bus stop right across from the hotel, making it effortlessly convenient to explore the surroundings. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly by name, and they were incredibly helpful with our luggage. Taking off our shoes upon entering the hotel created a feeling of comfort and cleanliness that made us feel right at home. After a smooth check-in process, during which they confirmed our breakfast time, the staff graciously guided us through the hotel, sharing helpful information about opening hours for various amenities. Our room was beautifully adorned in traditional Japanese style, complete with an open-air bath. Enjoying this serene experience during the winter was simply magical! We also savored a delectable Kaiseki dinner in our room, which was not only a feast for our taste buds but also left us delightfully satisfied. The onsens were a real highlight, featuring an adjacent sauna. With daily alternating access for women and men every other day, we were able to enjoy both during our stay. Families will find this hotel exceptionally accommodating, thanks to its variety of playrooms and relaxation spaces catering to guests of all ages. Plus, the complimentary refreshments and bar in the lobby until 10 PM added a lovely touch to our experience. Breakfast was a true delight, with a peaceful view of the snow outside the restaurant, enhancing the serene atmosphere. On our departure day, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a shuttle bus to take us to the JR station, making our exit seamless and convenient. Looking back, our only regret is that we stayed just one night—I can't wait to return and immerse myself in a different season's beauty. This hotel is now firmly on my list for future visits, and I’m already looking forward to the next adventure!

UUsuario invitadoTabino Hotel Ishikari (旅之酒店石狩) is a relatively new hotel that opened in late 2025, and it quickly became one of my favorite stops during my Hokkaido trip. Located in Ishikari City, it’s about a 15–20 minute drive from central Sapporo areas like Hokkaido University or Odori Park, making it a smart choice for those who want easy access to the city without staying right in the busy downtown. One of the first things that struck me was the massive parking lot—it’s a spacious, flat, free parking area with plenty of spots, even for larger vehicles (though larger ones might need prior arrangement). No stress about circling for a space or paying extra fees, which is a huge plus for self-drive travelers in Hokkaido. The room felt pleasantly spacious compared to many budget or business hotels in Japan. I could fully open my suitcase, unpack comfortably, and still have plenty of room to move around. All rooms come equipped with handy in-room amenities like a washing machine, microwave, and fridge, which are great for longer stays or if you want to heat up snacks. The surroundings are remarkably quiet and peaceful, giving that relaxing escape-from-the-city vibe, especially at night. Yet, convenience is never compromised—there’s a 24-hour convenience store (like a 7-Eleven) just a 1-minute walk away, perfect for grabbing late-night snacks, drinks, breakfast items, or anything you need without driving. It’s such a thoughtful location balance. One of the biggest highlights is the on-site hot spring facility. The large public bath uses an artificial onsen inspired by Noboribetsu’s Shirakaba-no-Yu (white birch hot spring), with milky, smooth water that’s incredibly soothing after a day of driving or sightseeing. There’s also a sauna, making it easy to unwind and recharge right at the hotel—no need to hunt for external onsens. Cleanliness is top-notch throughout the property. Everything from the lobby and corridors to the rooms and bath areas felt spotless and well-maintained, with fresh linens and no lingering odors. It’s clear the staff takes pride in keeping the place immaculate. Overall, Tabino Hotel Ishikari offers excellent value: comfortable, feature-packed rooms, unbeatable parking convenience, that perfect mix of tranquility and nearby 24/7 shopping, plus the bonus of relaxing in the hot springs without leaving the hotel. It’s ideal for self-drive explorers, families, or anyone wanting a peaceful yet practical base near Sapporo. I’d definitely stay here again on future trips!
