All over good but, restaurant food is not very nice and have not get the room which i booked online . I have payed for balcony room which have a sea view as well but ended up staying in a normal delux room. Washroom doesn’t have good supply of water.

Disappointed with the pool , dirty, no cups available for water, locks broken on doors . Floor slimmy.
Room ok but dusty at the bottom of the tea station, fan not working in bathroom,
Breakfast was terrible, orange juice was really watery and tasteless , plates too hot and no serviettes provided to hold , cereals were ok , no pastries very poor selection for the price , bread was cheap and soggy and when toasted burnt...yuk ! Too much pepper on the tomatoes , baked beans cheap and nasty , sausages were nice, bacon horrible and cooked in clumps so some were under cooked and some extremely crispy and salty.
For the price of £17 a head , I think the breakfast was 1/5. lady staff member was very nice, polite and helpful 5/5.
Sorry to say but we won't be back 😞

Overall, the experience was excellent, and the hotel maintained high standards across most areas. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff were courteous and professional throughout the stay. The location was convenient, and the general atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant and welcoming. However, the room service could be improved, as it did not meet the same level of quality as the other services provided.

Cerca de la estación de tren Ashford International y hay un gran supermercado cerca.
El personal del lugar del desayuno fue agradable, especialmente el chef.
Sólo unos pocos restaurantes cerca, a poca distancia, unos 15 minutos, de otra pequeña ”ciudad” con más restaurantes.
Puede ir a la tienda de diseño a poca distancia en unos 15 minutos.

Definitely highly recommended : tucked away and yet near amenities (large Tesco, Mc Donald’s and large selection of other food options from Uber). There is also a restaurant within the hotel - nice menu.
Hotel itself is spotless all around (smells nice). Effortless check in and check out. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was larger than expected. String WiFi signal throughout. Breakfast was delicious. Pet friendly (£30 per pet). Ample parking but not free (unless included in room).

Tuve una buena estadía en esta propiedad. El edificio parecía histórico, pero dentro de las habitaciones, la renovación y el equipamiento eran modernos y estaban limpios. Me hospedé en la habitación 15, que era una de las habitaciones más pequeñas y me pareció un poco apretada.
Después de haberme hospedado en tantas propiedades que requerían una tarifa de estacionamiento de £10 a £15 por noche, realmente aprecié que haya estacionamiento gratuito en la calle justo frente a la propiedad hasta las 8 a. m., o estacionamiento fuera del establecimiento (que no está demasiado lejos) hasta las 11:30 a. m.

Grande hotel . amplias habitaciones bien equipadas . Baño en ducha. Tenía 2 fans.ferron secador de pelo y un nevera. 2 camas dobles en la habitación. Mucho té y café. Gran zona de recepción abierta y restaurante asequible. La piscina es muy buena.

Booked to stay here over half term with my daughter for a couple of nights - had a cosy room which was just right for the two of us.
Front reception staff were really kind and helpful.
Breakfast was lovely - the lady there was so nice and although was busy as she was on her own, she was always smiling.
We dined in the restaurant one of the evenings - food was delicious but the heating wasn’t working on that floor so the whole room was cold. Bar / restaurant staff were really nice.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and we would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

El hotel está situado en una zona de 3 estrellas, a 5 minutos a pie de la ciudad.
No es cierto qué categoría para poner este hotel! No es lujo, sino mejor que el presupuesto. Las habitaciones están un poco fechadas y las TVs necesitan una actualización. La ducha, otra vez, un poco fechada.
El hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad, donde se encuentran los niños y los niños.

XXRMThis was genuinely a wonderful and most special place.
The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet.
They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it.
The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard.
The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need!
The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality.
Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible.
Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite.
A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!!
There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise.
She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!!
Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too!

UUsuario invitadoIt's been quite a while since i last stayed at the Kings Arms... and this trip reminded me why!
There is very little choice of Hotels in the area, and Kings Arms is centrally located in Westerham with many decent Pubs and Restaurants in close proximity.
The Hotel had undergone a lot of fairly recent External Renovation and looks amazing from the outside... maybe one day they can progress to modernising the interior.
Bar Area and Restaurant areas are absolutely fine, and you cannot fault the friendliness and helpfulness of the Staff.
However, the journey upstairs with the threadbare carpet kinda lets you know what is instore for you inside the room.
On this most recent stay, the room itself was HUGE! I booked a deluxe Double. Massive Bed, and ample furniture.
Carpet threadbare in places and the Central Heating Radiator didn't work. A small Electric heater had been placed in the room, but due to the enormity of the size, it was inadequate to produce any real warmth in the room. Poor quality lighting.. but i thinks that made me by design!
The Bathroom was equally large, but similar to the room (and others i've stayed in previous) i suspect maybe the 1980's was the last time it had a facelift. It was adequate to take a wee, and clean my teeth.. but i could only imagine my wife's reaction to the sheer thought of taking a Bath in there!
It's such a shame really... perfect location to stay for either Business while working at Biggin Hill Airport, or for a weekend getaway with the wife.
However, if the latter... i would seriously advise to take a look across the road. You'll have a much happier wife!!
This could be an amazing hotel - but it sure does need a lot of work on the inside.

AAkki_M13Overall the hotel was pretty decent. Good location and great views fron the room. But you know the building is a but old one some dont expect 5star model. You want some thing vintage and good you are in the right place. I loved it . And the staff was so lovely and friendly. I will suggest this one.

CChris J HornWhat an amazing hidden gem this is. Nestled on a hill top overlooking the marshes with Warehorn church over the road, this pub with rooms is a must for a romantic get away.
We arrived early and had a drink in the bar, which is beautifully quirky, a welcoming log fire burning and a wide selection of drinks.
We had booked ”Niddy” an attic room with so much to give, a comfy bed, roll top bath, and so much character.
The only ****** I had with the room, was the W.C squeezed into the roof space it was a little awkward to stand up and wee, but that's a small thing when it comes to such a great room.
Requesting a quiet table for dinner, we were given one in a side area and again we couldn't believe it, it was super romantic and we had the whole room to ourselves. Our waiter Muli was so good, he was attentive but not intruding, and so funny, we haven't had many meals out and he really did make the evening.
The food was excellent and the vegan burger was one of the best I have had.
The location was brilliant, if you're into walking, cycling, birdwatching or wanting to visit local sites (rye was only 20min drive away)
The rest of the staff were also brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us.
We will definitely return.

UUsuario anónimoStayed here for 3 nights in August 2025, and it was lovely. The hallways can be a bit confusing, so watch out for the room number signs so you don't end up in a random unknown hallway. The room was clean and spacious enough for 2 people, very clean too. My room had a great view of the courtyard and a partial view of the sea. There were a few guests singing and playing piano downstairs on our last day, which was a joy to watch.
There's only one elevator in the hotel, and it can take really long to get to your floor, which can be a bit irritating. We also asked for housekeeping to clean our rooms for 2 days, and we could tell the bedsheets weren't changed (I spilled a bit of coffee on one side and it was still there all 3 nights). The towels also weren't changed, so we had to call reception for new towels.
There's a Costa downstairs in the lobby, which is terrific - if only you could order! It seems that the hotel staff double as the Costa baristas, so we stood for maybe 30-40 minutes just waiting to be served.
Other than that, though, our stay was great. The hotel's location is perfect; right in front of the sea and about 10 minutes walk to the shore.

UUsuario invitadoLa ubicación es maravillosa, a pocos pasos del centro de Canterbury, y nuestro hostal fue hermoso, muy amable y bienvenido.
El desayuno no era abrumador, muy básico.
Muchos negros con la habitación aunque ..... mantenimiento parece estar en la lista de prioridades tristemente.
Fridge no funcionó.
La TV había roto el marco de plástico alrededor de ella. La tele no se conectó a la TV. Sin embargo, podrías acceder a la TV manualmente ....once hubieras desconectado lo que no funcionaba primero.
El conjunto de tiras de cama tenía mandos que seguían cayendo.
No hay un acoplamiento de la bañera.
También se trataba de que todos los dispositivos eléctricos tuvieran que ser montados en un solo tablero de vía.
Dicho esto, a pesar de todos los negros, no nos detuvo de tener un hermoso fin de semana en Canterbury - ubicación construida para ello junto con la hospitalidad de Sanjeewa.
