My friend and I stayed at the Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel during a layover in Urumqi, and it was the perfect choice for a short stay near the airport. The location is extremely convenient - just ~15 minutes away from the terminal, which made our transit hassle-free. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a great advantage. Though the hotel could use minor renovations, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The room had all the essentials: slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a comb, a hairdryer, an electric kettle, cups, and bottled water. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for us to plan our day trip and order a taxi. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options. Even if you're not yet accustomed to Chinese cuisine, you can find simple choices like boiled eggs and mantou (steamed buns). For sightseeing, the city center and main attractions (such as the Xinjiang Museum, Red Hill Park, the Grand Bazaar, and the mosque) are about 30 minutes away by taxi. We managed to explore all of them in a day. Nearby, there are also local markets, convenience stores, and small cafés for snacks and essentials. Overall, if you need a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel close to Urumqi Airport with good service and decent amenities, Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel is a great option. Highly recommended for transit travelers!

I stayed at Tianyuan Jingyi Hotel during my layover to my trip to Almaty. In general, I had a positive experience. The hotel is Situated right inside the airport. There is no need to exit the airport at all. After arrivals you can see the signs, walking around 10 min you are at the hotel. The room and common areas were decent and tidy. My room was spacious and it had all the amenities. Breakfast is included mostly Chinese and a few western options. Overall, it is great value for money and a good hotel for a layover.

Lovely hotel in great location. Rooftop area which looked over the back of the show outside the ancient town area. Breakfast upon request was delivered in small takeaway boxes. Cute but a lot of plastic waste. However the rooms had the big water dispensers in with the kettle attached which was great. Shower area had big shared bottles of shampoo etc., which was also great 😊

Nos alojamos en este hotel durante nuestro viaje por carretera a Kashgar. Nos hicieron un upgrade gratuito a una habitación estándar por viajar con dos niños y, además, nos dieron dos vales de desayuno. El hotel también ofrecía servicio de lavandería gratuito. Las instalaciones eran modernas, el desayuno abundante y el servicio excelente. La habitación incluso tenía ducha y aseo separados, y el precio fue de poco más de 100 yuanes, muy asequible. Nos volvimos a alojar aquí a la vuelta.

We booked a family room and specifically asked for it to be free from any cigarette smell. Unfortunately, despite our request, the room still smelled of smoke, and even the pillows had a noticeable cigarette odor. We also noticed that people were smoking near the elevator area. Perhaps this is more common in China, but we were not prepared for it and found it a bit uncomfortable. On the positive side, the hotel provides a free airport shuttle, which is very convenient and greatly appreciated. The room itself was good for the price, and overall it offers solid value for money. If the smell of cigarettes does not bother you, this hotel can be a very good option for its price range.

It was our great stay in Turpan even just 2 days 1 night but the hotel was perfect to rest after long cold days. The manager Jin Nan has great initiative to assist us in many things, the rest of staffs are nice too. Breakfast was fantastic, both international foods and local foods which is suit to foreigners like us.

Olvide tomar todo el viaje, la actitud del servicio es también muy buena, la vivienda es también muy buena, el desayuno es también muy popular, lo demás está bien, es decir, después de haber experimentado, los demás son generales, pero realmente no es bueno

Esta estadía es una experiencia excelente! La habitación es limpia y limpia y el entorno es cómodo y cálido. 酒店民宿就在進入塔縣後不遠的一個十字路口，很大一片營地，前台一名服務員和塔吉克族的小夥子非常的熱情，幫我們拿着很重的兩件行李一路送到酒店房間裏面，還給了每人一個蒸汽眼罩，打開了製氧機，電暖氣，讓我們一家人不僅感覺暖了房間，更暖了心靈，把我們的房間還免費升級成和爸媽一樣的大床房了，就為了讓我們一家人緊挨着。 再説下房間周圍的環境，那真的是沒話説，就在昆崙山腳下，四面環山，晚上可以看星空，早上看雪山日出，窗簾打開就是雪山美景，對於我們這些上班族真是太治癒了，酒店也有氂牛肉火鍋，還送了一份68元的牛肉劵。房間設定齊全，我們因為怕高原反應所以沒洗澡但第二天洗頭了，狀態也還好。 另外住酒店免費停車，酒店門前就是一個很大的停車場，多大的車都能停進去，而且門前有很多充電的車位，非常方便。

There are two hotels at the airport. The first one is located right at the entrance connected directly to the terminal building. This hotel, however, requires you to go down to Level 1 first, so it is slightly farther away — but it is still within walking distance to the airport. The room was clean and a good size. The price was reasonable and not expensive. The hotel’s restaurant looked interesting, although I didn’t have the chance to try it. The in-room amenities were decent and met expectations. Overall, it’s a convenient and good-value option for staying near the airport.
