Super good and friendly front desk service! The hotel is quite new and very modern style! Near kuching waterfront and carpenter street! Walkable distance to eateries and restaurants! Definitely will revisit again!

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Carpenter street, the waterfront, where nightly light shows (approx 15mins) are held and various historical buildings and sites are right at the doorstep of the hotel or within walking distance. There is also an excellent mall (Plaza Merdeka) is connected to the hotel which is a plus. Great service from all staff, thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Margherita Hotel Kuching. The location is absolutely perfect — right by the Sarawak River and within walking distance to the waterfront, shops, and local attractions. The view from our room was beautiful, especially in the evening. Breakfast had a good variety of choices, and we especially enjoyed our Laksa Sarawak on the last day — it was flavourful, authentic, and the perfect way to end our trip to Kuching! It truly gave us a taste of local Sarawakian cuisine. Overall, we had a pleasant and memorable experience. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Kuching. Highly recommended!

Yes this is one of the best hotel in miri downtown, very clean and comfortable living with spacious rooms. Family room are best value for money. Sure will be stay again here.

La ubicación era fantástica. Justo al lado hay un 7 eleven. La habitación era bastante amplia y proporcionan toallas nuevas todos los dias. Estuvimos en la planta 7, las vistas son geniales. La moqueta estaba bastante sucia y manchada, ambas noches al despertarnos por la mañana, nos levantamos con varias picadas de insecto...posibles chinches? Aun no sabemos. Lo que si sabemos que no eran de los paseos de la calle, porque estamos bien y nos levantamos con ellas. Recomiendo una limpieza a fondo...

The room is spacious and nice, the only thing is that it’s a bit old, location is good.  Housekeeping always comes early in the morning and will leave a note under your room if you put do not disturb.  Always need to ask housekeeping to come and clean the room if the paper is there, there was one day that we just put housekeeping green lights on and ignored the paper, the room was not clean when we went back at night.

The cleanliness of the room, including the sheets and towels, was unacceptable. The bed sheets were dirty and appeared not to have been changed.The towels were also dirty and seemed previously used. Crucially, even after changing rooms, the same hygiene issues were present.

The breakfast suited my taste. I quite like the Malay cuisine on offer. The room is clean. The bathroom however has a sewage oder. Pouring boiling water down the drain reduced it to tolerable level. The corridor smells musty carpets

¡Este hotel es el mejor hotel en el que me alojo en Kuching hasta ahora! El personal es realmente amable y agradable. Siempre tienen una sonrisa en la cara, incluso si nos registramos en el hotel a las 11 p.m. Lo que más me gusta de este hotel es el desayuno buffet! ¿Dónde encontrar un hotel que sirva laksa sarawak y mee kolok como buffet? Aquí lo sirven todo!!! Y la vista también es llamativa ya que tenemos la habitación con vista al mar :) pero las desventajas son que el inodoro solo tiene bidet y es bastante lento y la piscina está en el ala puteri, por lo que tienes que caminar un poco. Aparte de eso, ¡todo es increíble y asequible en este hotel!❤️❤️❤️

Overall it was a nice stay. The hotel is in a perfect location and it’s very cosy and peaceful. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. I was accommodated in a nice room with a pool and sea view. Faiz Haslan has also shared some information about the places to visit around, which was very helpful. Breakfasts were very nice, and there was a good food variety. Chinese New Year Eve’s dinner was excellent, great food variety and delicious. It would be good to have wifi available in the room and not only in the public areas.
