EExplore the world with JosephI had a pleasant stay at City Rise Hotel Miri during my visit to Miri. The hotel offers a comfortable and clean environment, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. The rooms are well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with the essential amenities needed for a relaxing stay.
One of the hotel’s biggest advantages is its convenient location, with easy access to restaurants, shopping areas, and local attractions around Miri city. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any requests, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable.
The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, while the hotel provided good value for money compared to other accommodations in the area. My booking comes with a breakfast, which was great to start the day.
Overall, I had a satisfying experience and would recommend City Rise Hotel Miri to travelers looking for an affordable, clean, and conveniently located place to stay.

SsuekNot aware that pullman was having some renovation and we need to take staircase to level 2 and get the lift to our room.
Also next day after cleaner done the room service noticed she pressed the toilet bowl flush button too hard and never bounced back caused water kept flushing nonstop. Lucky I have returned to hotel room as, forgot to take something and tried to pull that flush button up. I I felt still have room for improvement for quality or cleaner.
Overall the counter staffs and others are very friendly and helpful too.
Good location of this hotel and look forward again to stay hopefully the renovation done.

UUsuario invitadoDamai Lagoon Resort is nestled between the Mountain Santubong and the South China Sea. The resort environment is serene tugged in a tropical rainforest setting. The area provides a tranquil retreat with dense jungles and sandy beaches. The Sarawak Cultural Village is located just a stone’s throw away. It is within 10 minutes walking distance.
We were given all sea-fronting views with one corner rooms on the 3rd floor. We could listen to the waves crashing on the beach during high tide. The spacious space coupled with modern shower amenities and comfortable bedding made our stay an enjoyable experience and we had a relaxing time there. The buffet breakfast served was sumptuous with wide spread of local cuisines.
We enjoyed swimming in the clean infinity pool in a sunset backdrop. There are many indoor games provided for the children. Thus, you will not get bored staying in this resort. The resort entrance is grand and the guest lounge is huge and beautiful overlooking the sea.
The resort staff members are very helpful and friendly. The resort is highly recommended if you want to have a relaxing holiday outside Kuching city.

AAnonymouse2026Checked in at 3:30pm on a weekday and was told the room still wasn’t ready, which was disappointing considering it wasn’t a public holiday and the hotel didn’t appear particularly busy. After a long day of travelling, the last thing you expect is to wait around past check-in time with no proper explanation or urgency from staff.
The facilities were another letdown. Went for a swim around 9:30am only to find the pool closed for cleaning during peak morning hours. The spa and steam room were also frustrating to use because we had to search for staff every single time just to get them switched on. It defeats the purpose of advertising these facilities if guests can’t conveniently access them when they want to relax.
Overall, the hotel looks nice on the surface, but the service and management of the facilities really took away from the experience. For a Pullman hotel, I expected a much smoother and more premium stay.

A Consistently Wonderful Stay
Returning to the Abell Hotel Kuching for another stay reminded me exactly why this property remains my top choice in the city. The location is absolutely unbeatable, offering ultimate convenience for any traveler. It takes just a few minutes to walk down to the beautiful Kuching Waterfront, making it effortless to enjoy scenic evening strolls. Furthermore, the hotel sits right near Chinatown, placing vibrant culture and historic charm directly at your doorstep.
The surrounding area is a paradise for food lovers, boasting a massive variety of dining selections. From bustling local hawker stalls serving authentic Sarawakian dishes to modern cafes, you will never run out of incredible options to try. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional team. The hotel staff are consistently good, professional, and incredibly helpful, always greeting guests with genuine warmth and handling every request with efficiency. I highly recommend the Abell Hotel to anyone visiting Kuching, and I will certainly be staying here again on my next trip

UUsuario invitadoTo best describe this place, it's like a mini paradise atop a cliff overlooking the beautiful sea, with a twist of staying in large cylindrical concert culverts.
You can easily spot it along the road to Damai with its large circular logo at its gate. It was closed upon my arrival at 3pm, but due to the main entrance being easily seen from the receptionist area, it didn't take long for them to open the gate, and I just drove right in.
The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, decently professional as well, after checking us in we were given a quick tour around, highlighting the facilities and public areas.
The room itself, being quite quirky in its own way, isn't too difficult to maneuver around, as long as you don't rush yourself and knock yourself around the relatively tiny room. Adequate steps are built to help climbing up and moving around, with simple storage spots around the bed, which by itself takes up about half of the room. The other side of the room is the bathing area, which I would say is surprisingly spacious enough to use. So a bed and a bathing area sums up the entire, unique cylindrical room.
The hotel itself is nicely planned, guests can pamper themselves by picking their favorite spots located around the place, and enjoy a marvelous view of the sea. There's also a small private beach all the way down the cliff too. Facilities include swimming pools, sauna room, washer + dryer machines, gymnasium, library, etc. are pretty neat if you need them.
I would say the place is great for couples, and a short refresher trip. I technically live in the city just half an hour drive away, but to catch a break from work and relax here for a day, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat. Just make sure you've got the legs to climb up and down the place!

The breakfast had a good variety of choices and was fresh and enjoyable. One feature I particularly appreciated was the 24-hour gym, which made it convenient to fit in a workout at any time. Overall, it's a fantastic place to stay with great facilities and reasonable rates. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

La habitación es modesta y bastante sencilla: decoraciones y muebles sencillos y simplemente aburridos. Decir que el lugar es un hotel de cinco estrellas es una exageración. decepcionado con el aire acondicionado, incapaz de enfriar la habitación al nivel deseable.
