The hotel itself was nice, but the staff at the ski resort was horrible, the rentals are also not well maintained. The boards are not waxed, which makes it difficult to work with as there are a lot of flat routes which are difficult to avoid (Pony and village road were the flattest slope Ive ever seen in my life, I had to unstrap and walk and the board just wouldn't move). Ski resort staff were unfriendly and the rental staff was the worst, there was a lady there that was cold and rude. The only reason why the rental shop is surviving is probably because the equipments are salomon branded and that there is no other option.  I would visit again but only because the routes are fun, Myoko long run was the best, but I would never want to rent from the shop again. The food was very very good. For breakfast, you could choose from western or Japanese buffet. Western buffet is highly recommended, the omelette was the best ive eaten in my life and there was a diy risotto which was great as well. For dinner, there were 4 options, either buffet, steak, Japanese or shabushabu. All requiring reservations which is tough if you are checking in the evening as some might not be available. Highly recommend the steak, the food was good and the staff were amazing. Japanese was the hardest to get a reservation for but the food was quite underwhelming. The room was clean and ski lockers are also provided but it's tiny and can barely fit 2 boards. But I wish that in the toilet in the common area, you can adjust the tap temperature as the water is freezing cold. Amenities wise, bottled water are provided daily, also, yukata was provided but you can only wear them to the onsen which was extremely troublesome as I had to change multiple times a day.  The hotel provides shuttle bus services to and fro jyoetsumyoko station which was easy to book. The bus drivers were also friendly and helped out with the luggage. In summary, for a 5 stars hotel, it didn't live up to expectations, ski resort and rental staffs were unwilling to help and unfriendly. Also, some of the staffs could not speak Japanese which is puzzling for a hotel in Japan. If not for the amazing snow and slopes I would never come back.

My wife and I visited this onsen resort in 2023 and we loved it. My wife especially likes the many onsens they have. We have always wanted to come here again and finally did after 3 years. Like three years ago, the room and facilities are very clean and well maintained everything just as they were. One thing did change and we are quite upset about it, is that the staff is not as enthusiastic as they were (there are some familiar faces, many new ones). I still recommend this place to everyone, Futaba is still the best compared to the other two onsen resorts we’ve visited in between. Hope they can figure out some way to motivate the staff and offer a better experience to guests.

朱鷺メッセでのライブのためセールになっていた素泊まりのプランでスタンダード セミダブルルームに宿泊しました。朱鷺メッセからも歩ける距離でよかったです。コンビニや郵便局も近くにあり少し歩くと少し飲食店のある通りもあるのでチェックインが遅めになっても食事には特に困りませんでした。レストランなどを利用しなかったためスタッフの方と接する機会はあまりありませんでしたが室内もとても綺麗で必要なアメニティも十分揃っています。

¡Tenemos un momento sorprendente en NASPA New Otani este hotel es una opción fantástica si usted está visitando Yuzawa, especialmente para una caminata de invierno! El personal estaba muy caliente, bienvenido y atento durante toda nuestra estancia, lo que nos hizo sentir en casa desde la entrada hasta la salida. La habitación era espaciosa, limpia y cómoda, perfecta para relajarse después de un día de esquí. En general, una gran experiencia durante tres noches, amar el baño público y privado, una gran hospitalidad, la habitación era espaciosa y muy limpia. Dos temas: las paredes son muy finas y un vecino ruidoso puede conducirlo muy rápidamente loco (experiencia durante la primera noche) y los ciegos no están completamente negros, dejando las luces de la mañana temprana nos desperta (un asunto de sabor y de menor importancia).

Was given a room with 2 single beds. When I checked with the reception, they said their level 10 was under renovation and that my booking doesn't give me a choice. This is the first time I was told I don't have a choice to the bed configuration. Rooms are not sound proof. We could hear voices from next room.  Room is spacious by Japanese standard, and location is good, near to Bandai Pier and fashion shopping. We could walk to the train station in 10 minutes.  Enjoyed our stay.

La habitación era limpia y espaciosa con una cama de futon confortable. Si no reservas su especial cena/desayuno, puedes hacerlo con 2 días de orden avanzado sobre el escritorio delantero. Definitivamente quedarse aquí otra vez si alguna vez regresa en la zona 🫶🏼

A very nice stay! Cozy clean and onsen was good. Host English was not great so you have to use a bit of Japanese when you arrive but otherwise a real gem!

Great place to get away from your busy mindset. Very good views, you can hear the waves and feel the sea breeze. Room has all the basic stuff and they even put cold water with ice for you. Onsen is pleasantly nice and quiet. Staff are attentive and will make effort for you to feel welcome. Great for families, food is very good too. Small rant, no washing machine to use. Cheers.

En general, me gusta este hotel de aguas termales que fue construido en un lugar que contiene 16 casas que datan del siglo XVII. El hotel en sí, su jardín y su habitación no tienen mala pinta. Sin embargo, el aire acondicionado de la boutique se rompió ayer y hacía mucho calor para comprar allí. No estoy seguro si fue reparado hoy. En el baño se guardaba una bolsa de cepillo abierta sin pasta de dientes. ¿Esperaban que la usara o qué? El servicio y la comida pueden ser mejores, pero no lo tomen a mal, ya son buenos, solo que tengo un estándar muy alto, en particular cuando hablamos de alimentos. Me gustan los dos licores gratuitos, uno en oferta y el otro en vino de ciruela, que se ofrecen todas las noches de 17:00 a 19:30. :) El hotel puede organizar muchas actividades de viaje y experiencias y es necesario reservar en línea con antelación. Se ofrece servicio de transporte gratuito entre el hotel y la ESTACIÓN ECHIGO YUZAWA y también es necesario reservar con antelación, un gesto muy generoso.
