We booked this hotel last minute due to another hotel cancelling us. The staff were very welcoming, extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was very beautiful with a nice bar lounge area downstairs which stayed open until 1am. Our room was nice, although we had a room with a velux window so it felt very dark. We didn't have any view and didn't like that we had no window to open for fresh air. I think this was just unfortunate for us due to booking last minute and the hotel finding 4 rooms to accommodate us. Our friends who stayed had nice rooms with windows. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is an exclusive getaway, mainly for couples or celebration events. I enjoyed the cosy atmosphere during the Christmas season and the delicious food served at breakfast prepared fresh by the Head Chef (thank you Chef for the nice chat too!) and at the dinner restaurant. Top quality food! All staff was very friendly and helpful. The spa area is a bit cold for me, especially in the changing room so I didn't use it. Rooms are clean and welcoming. Location is quite remote and taxes are not always available, although I didn't have any issue at the time of my stay.
