Excellent stay. The hotel is ideally located if arriving by train. We arrived in the morning and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in early as our room was ready. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a roomy walk in shower. The only thing that would have improved it would have been some drawer space as it only has hanging space in the wardrobe. All the staff were helpfull and friendly. We had an evening meal and breakfast during our stay and both were excellent. We also made use of the leisure facilties during our stay. Overall would highly recommend and if we visit York again would definitely stay at The Milner.

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights. Checking in felt more tedious than it needed to be and our keys stopped working half way through the stay. We had a nice room with a comfortable bed and it was serviced, which isn't guaranteed these days. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. The staff were attentive and helpful. I'd stay there again.

Our third stay at The Feversham Arms Hotel.  We were allocated a pool suite which was excellent.  Apparently the hotel is up for sale, the administrators have been brought in.  Hopefully the new owners will be found and after a few tweaks here and there the hotel will be five stars.

El hotel está en una ubicación perfecta. La primera habitación estaba un poco deteriorada y, al estar en la parte trasera del hotel, cuando se lo pedimos, nos cambiaron enseguida. El personal es muy servicial y muy amable. Un lugar ideal para una escapada corta. Solo estábamos mi perrito y yo, y lo recibieron de maravilla. Me encantaría volver. La foto es de la vista desde nuestra habitación. 😊

El hotel tiene una ubicación bonita. El edificio antiguo se ha mantenido en excelentes condiciones. Eligimos quedarse en el antiguo salón de habitaciones doble. La habitación era muy espaciosa, con zona de estar. También estaba disponible una máquina de café. El desayuno era delicioso, cocinado individualmente, con una amplia selección. El personal era muy amable y atento. Sería muy recomendable este hotel

Got there on Saturday and checked in early.  The hotel is located about 5 mins from town.  Everything touristy is literally there.  Receptionist was very friendly.  Lift worked a treat and the staff around the hotel were polite and welcoming.  The breakfast was great and the fa t that you choose what time slot you want makes the whole process efficient.  We had the room on the 3rd floor and had a hatch in the roof which had a great view of the river and surrounding area.  Area is brimming with shops and eateries you won’t have any problem with a range of cuisines.  The hotel has a bar and does serve food daily menu - was tempted but unfortunately we went out every night for Dinner.  Highly recommending this hotel.

Siempre uso este hostal para viajes de trabajo desde otra ciudad porque me encanta su fácil acceso al hospital y a la estación de tren. El personal es encantador y se desvive por que estés cómodo. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

We had a lovely stay at the Tan Hill Inn — the location is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere in the pub was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. We especially loved the cozy open fires in the pub area, which added a real charm to the experience. The beer selection was also great — plenty of variety and well-kept. Our room, however, had a couple of downsides. The floor was unfortunately quite dirty — we had to keep our shoes on while inside. Also, while the room had a fire burner, it was bio-fuelled and didn’t provide any actual heat — more of a short-lived visual effect. That said, the room itself had excellent temperature-controlled heating, which made up for it to some extent. Overall, a unique and memorable place with great character — just a bit of room for improvement on cleanliness and room heating experience.

Perfect location for a sightseeing trip to York, with car parking. The hotel was gorgeous, beautiful room (we had blenheim suite), huge copper bath in the bedroom (bring your own bubble bath!), super comfy bed, beautifully decorated room. Reception staff lovely and very knowledgeable of local area. Lovely bar too with friendly staff, a range of boardgames available which was fun. Breakfast room had a great Churchill theme ( brilliant top/bowler hat lighting). Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a really lovely stay.
