El Best Western Walworth Castle Hotel parece estar cerca de permanecer en una fortaleza medieval, pero la experiencia está más cerca de un ligeramente ******* Premier Inn con torres. El interior se siente como si fuese renovado por última vez durante la Guerra Civil Inglesa. Eso es extraño, es encantador de la misma manera que los viejos pubs y las casas de estado abandonadas son encantadores. No luxuosos, no modernos, pero sin duda memorables.

The size of the room is specious with sufficient space for storing luggage, and the floor is very clean and comfortable to walk on with bare feet, so feel free to leave your shoe by the door. As for the bed, it is very large and comfortable, providing you the high quality of sleeping without any problems. In the bathroom, it is not only very elegant and clean, but also provides unlimited hot water with satisfying water pressure from two types of shower heads. Moreover, there is a mini fridge placed in the lower closet near the wardrobe, feel free to drink the two bottles of spring water prepared by the host or store your own drinks or unfinished meals. In addition, there is a small safe above the fridge for depositing your valuables. In terms of the amenities on the ground floor, there is a high-end restaurant serving traditional English breakfast (e.g. egg benedict) in the morning, and the taste is fine. However, I am not a big fan of their lunch or dinner when you can have better options in nearby restaurants. Furthermore, there is a small bar just outside the restaurant. The Gym, coffee room and reception are at the LG level, and you will receive a 10% discount in the coffee room after check-in. The location is very close to the city center, train station and several main attractions such as the cathedral and castle. Overall, I enjoy my two-day stay very much, the price of the hotel is very cost-effective in terms of the four-star standards, providing an unforgettable experience for both tourists and business travelers.

La habitación era espaciosa y confortable. Viene con desayuno gratuito, que es bueno. El desayuno estaba bien, la misma comida cada mañana. La única cosa que nos deja bajar es una de las personas del restaurante. Nos sentamos allí por edades esperando ser servido. Porque no nos servirá hasta las 8:00. Así que hemos esperado pacientemente, porque acabamos de llegar esa noche y estaba muy hambriento. Este hombre serviría a otras personas, pero no a nosotros. Así que mi marido y yo estabamos preguntando qué está pasando. Así que mi marido fue al ataúd y se puso en cuadrícula. Pero cuando es la turno de mi marido, él preguntó, ”¿Quién es el siguiente?? Obviamente, mi marido estaba delante de él. Entonces, cuando mi marido preguntó si podíamos pedir ahora, él y yo miramos y dijo: ”Oh, espera a tu mesa, y voy a conseguir tu orden de allí. . Quizá porque soy el único asiático allí. Me siento como si hubiera algo de ****** para ser honesto. Volvimos a nuestra mesa y esperamos ser servidos de nuevo. Pero él no se despertó y servió la siguiente mesa junto a nosotros y servió a otro cliente que vino después de nosotros. Estaba tan enojado y molesto. Pero no quiero causar una escena. Así que acabamos de salir y buscamos otro restaurante fuera del hotel. Estamos tan decepcionados, y no esperamos ser tratados así. El hotel es un hotel muy agradable y muy útil. Sólo olvidé su nombre. Pero el del restaurante no es bueno en absoluto. Él arruinó nuestras vacaciones familiares. No volveremos ahí.

Absolutely wonderful. Id stayed at Durham Royal County before with my girlfriend. However she didn't come with ne this time due to reasons that she had. The staff at the hotel were lovely about it and made me feel better about tge situation and a lovely note and complementary drinks for me to come back to in my room. All I can say is thankyou and I'll look forward to staying with you again soon. Thanks Matthew

last minute booking, great service, lucky enough to be upgraded to a lovely room, really friendly staff. Food and drinks reasonable.. spent time in Spa which was very relaxing and just what we needed. Had a look round new entertainment centre . The driving range and facilities is great,  will Definately be taking a  return visit.

Was a romantic get away, found that the drinks are expensive inside the hotel. we never ate at the hotel, as there is a couple of nice pubs close by. the staff were friendly, THe place is a bit of a maze but cool. they do run daily tours but its best if you book up in advance as when we tried to do day of the tour no availability. it is run via a 3rd party not the hotel itself.

I have been to Hartlepool many times in the past stayed in different places over the years but the Grand Hotel I liked nice staff spacious rooms location ideal I did come across one rude customer that was not very nice despite the staff doing g everything they could for her so I just had to tell her off fo being so rude definitely will stay again and also o e mention to the curry house in the same building excellent food and again nice staff

We really enjoyed our stay, the location is ideal and the grounds were beautiful and quiet! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional! The only downside was that our room had only one plug socket that we could use.....just not enough these days, even just for basic needs..... very poor unfortuneatly. Air conditioning would have been welcomed, we would therefore definitely avoid this Hotel in summer months for this reason alone. One other small irritant, our bathroom had a glass shelf above the sink which tilited heavily towards the sink, so we had to be very careful to ensure things didn't keep falling over. Our breakfasts were excellent (apart from the Omelettes), and the service staff were very welcoming....a great start to any day!

Absolutely spotless and finished to a high standard. Decor is modern and appealing throughout. Staff are helpful. Lovely restaurant and fantastic coffee served there. The only slight issue I would say, is that you can hear guests in the next room very easily and this isn’t desirable for obvious reasons. We sadly ended up with very noisy guests in the room next to us the first night we stayed and this caused considerable disruption to our sleep pretty much all night. Saying this, we didn’t notify the staff though (so they may have been able to help) as there was no phone in the room. The next night was fine and completely silent so this would be dependent on who you have staying near you.
