The hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours. The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch. That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

Conveniently located in the city centre and within walking distance of most attractions. The room was sizeable and comfortable for a couple, with enough room to open up two luggage bags on the floor. We were also pleasantly surprised with a goodie bag of local treats (chocolate, cookies and honey) in a reusable tote bag.

La catedral de Notre-Dame está a pocos minutos a pie. Muchos museos alrededor de nosotros. Muchos restaurantes y calles comerciales de la ciudad están a pocos minutos.

La ubicación es excelente y la habitación está limpia. Las camas no solo tienen cortinas, sino también estantes y espejos, y fue muy práctico tener un lavabo y taquillas en la habitación. Mi única preocupación fue que la ducha salía casi siempre agua y no se podía ajustar la temperatura; se cerraba automáticamente y el agua se filtraba en el cambiador.

Al llegar al hotel, es posible que no tenga prisa por registrarse. El hotel ofrece consigna de equipaje de autoservicio. Puede introducir la contraseña en la consigna para cerrar su equipaje. La higiene general es buena, la habitación está decorada con gusto, está muy cerca de la estación de tren y el transporte es conveniente. Vale la pena experimentarlo.

La ubicación está justo en el centro de Colmar, justo enfrente del conocido árbol de Navidad y los juguetes, las habitaciones son elegantes, la recepción es muy atenta y se dio información sobre las instalaciones de Colmar. Si volviera a ir no lo dudaría. Gracias.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but I wouldn’t quite consider it a five-star experience. The building itself is beautiful, and the bed and sauna were both very comfortable. I also want to mention Sarah from the sauna team — she was extremely kind and helpful, which made a great impression. That said, I was quite disappointed with the room’s cleanliness. When we checked in, we noticed stains on the pillow, sheets, and duvet. We asked for the pillow to be replaced, but it seemed to be overlooked the first time. Even more surprisingly, the bedding didn’t appear to be changed the next day — the same stained pillow and sheets were still there, which was disappointing. We also accidentally spilled a bit of coffee on the bedside table one morning, and when we came back later that day, the stain was still there, which made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Lastly, a small detail — my surname, “Lin,” was misspelled as “Lim” twice. It’s a minor thing, but one I wouldn’t expect from a hotel of this rating. In summary, while the property and facilities are lovely, the cleanliness and attention to detail fell short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel.

The hotel was a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the pillows allowed for a great nights sleep. The Spa experience was a brilliant way to relax after exploring the city.
