I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the InterContinental Qiandao Lake. The room was absolutely stunning, and the lake view was breathtaking. One of the most special features of the room was the bathroom design — the bathtub was positioned so that you could relax while enjoying the beautiful lake scenery, which made for a truly memorable experience. The staff were polite, friendly, and always willing to help. I also loved the hotel's interior design, which features a lot of natural wood, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere throughout the property. The breakfast offered a good selection of both Western and Chinese dishes. There is also a nice local Chinese restaurant nearby where you can try the region's famous fish, which I highly recommend. The only downside was transportation. Unfortunately, I missed my train because we were unable to get a taxi for about 40 minutes. Even though I tried to arrange transportation in advance, it was still not enough. The hotel does not provide a taxi service, so I would strongly recommend allowing plenty of extra time if you need to catch a train or have a fixed schedule. Apart from that, everything was wonderful, and I had an amazing stay. I would happily return in the future ☺️

Mi habitación olía a cigarrillo, lo cual es relativamente normal en China, ¡PERO! Pedí una habitación para no fumadores, pero hay un cenicero. Cuando quise lavar mi ropa, me dijeron que la harían y la enviarían a mi habitación. Más de 12 horas después, seguían sin enviarme la ropa. Tarda una hora en un ciclo normal y casi dos horas en secarse a baja temperatura. ¿Por qué tardó el triple? Y el baño estaba sucio, con esas motas marrones.

We booked this hotel because we had seen a lengthy review from another guest who seemed to enjoy their stay. For starters check in was quick, the staff are friendly. Manager CiCi/Sisi (经理) and her team are the best. 滑索(Zipline) What attracted us to the hotel was their zipline experience however it turns out the equipment was broken. Though a day before we had inquired about being able to zip line and we were not informed about this, so we were quite sad. Amenities The amenities aren’t many, probably because the hotel is undergoing maintenance however what’s available is still satisfactory, though it does get quite boring especially in the summer heat when outdoor activities aren’t ideal. Gym is standard Laundry room is okay too Breakfast is satisfactory,nothing too fancy If you need a change of scenery or access to other amenities, I recommend going to JW Marriott it’s 5 minutes away. We had our buffet dinner there, as Anji Treasure Island Nautical hotel (VOCO) doesn’t provide any other meals apart from breakfast. By the way, this hotel is apparently becoming an IHG so I hope our next experience will match IHG standards. Additionally one of the other guests was smoking in the hallway indoor, and entered the elevator with a lit cigarette. Even the staff hadn’t paid attention to it. I hope, as a future IHG hotel they pay close attention to such issues, otherwise it loses credibility. (P.S I’m not blaming the staff but there need to be some smoke detectors especially for indoor smoking ) Environment It’s very quiet, rooms are sound proofed. The exterior environment is very refreshing especially if you came with a purpose of relaxation. Service No complaints, they are amazing . The chefs, waiters, waitresses, receptionist, manager , 保安 all good I hope in the next months when renovations are complete we visit again. We missed our zipline experience and we want to come back for it 😭

A Comfortable, Pet-Friendly Stay with a Few Areas for Improvement The hotel can be difficult to identify when you first arrive because there is no sign directly on the building. Instead, the sign is attached to a gate that usually remains open, so it becomes partially folded and easy to miss. The hotel also does not have on-site parking. Guests park across the street at the restaurant where breakfast is served each morning. Breakfast was traditional Chinese and included steamed buns, sweet potato, a hard-boiled egg, watermelon, tea, and milk. Everything was very tasty. Coffee was also available, but it cost extra. The people looking after the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they were filling the swimming pool after cleaning it and told us it would be ready later that day. Although the pool was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel, it did not quite meet our cleanliness standards because the deeper areas still appeared slightly cloudy. However, many other guests were comfortable using it, and we saw people enjoying the pool every day. The library area was absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately, there was a strong smell of mildew that made it difficult to spend much time there. These were the main drawbacks of our stay. Our room, however, was lovely. It smelled fresh, the bed was firm and very comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The staff emptied the rubbish and replenished our drinking water every day. The bathroom products were high quality, and toothbrushes were provided upon arrival. The room would have been even better if there had been enough towels for everyone staying in it and if the water had been slightly hotter. The hotel is located directly beside the river, with access to a peaceful riverside walk through beautiful gardens. There is also an elevated walkway farther down the road that looked interesting, although we did not have the opportunity to explore it. The river area was especially relaxing, and if I return, I would bring folding chairs and a small folding table so we could sit in the shallow water, relax, and play games. Most attractions and restaurants are approximately a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The receptionist tried to help us with maps and itineraries. Unfortunately, even after attempting to find the same hike on three different days, we were unable to locate the trailhead. It seemed that even local residents were not very familiar with the exact route. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is that it is pet-friendly and does not charge an additional pet fee, which was an important reason we chose it. The gentleman at reception also helped us secure a dinner reservation at Naked Ranch, where we had a wonderful evening. Moganshan is a beautiful destination, and overall, this hotel provided a comfortable stay. There is certainly some room for improvement, but I would return because I slept incredibly well and appreciated the warm, helpful service. Thank you again to the staff for all their assistance.

We had a fabulous time at Ke Gamer. I always prefer booking boutique hotels with character and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed our afternoon tea and photo session, dinner at the main restaurant was also flavourful and homey. Great choicr for our mother-daughter trip 👍

We did not experience any problems during our stay. The facilities were clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast was quite good, with a satisfying variety and quality.

We booked on high floor[40fl. up] king size bed river view but hotel gave us Tatami room on lower floor[38 fl.] with poor view. We didn’t realize this until we checked our booking with Trip.com email confirmation so we really don’t know which party get the benefit to trick us to lower price room for higher cost. This is very unethical practice.

La selección de desayuno era sorprendentemente limitada para un hotel de cuatro o cinco estrellas. Si bien la calidad era aceptable si se servía temprano (alrededor de las 7 de la mañana), se volvía muy superficial a medida que aumentaba la afluencia de gente. Incluso servían tallos de col salteados. Los postres parecían estar elaborados con ingredientes de alta calidad, pero ¿cómo podían tener un sabor tan grasiento y poco apetitoso (excepto los panqueques y los waffles)? Reservé una habitación con patio, pero este era muy pequeño. Los balcones eran prácticamente del mismo tamaño que los de las demás habitaciones, sin ninguna ventaja. De hecho, prefería las habitaciones con balcón. El hotel está bastante lejos de las plantaciones de té cercanas y a unos 30 minutos en taxi de varias atracciones. Por más de mil yuanes la noche, preferiría alojarme en un hotel de categoría similar en el centro de la ciudad; al menos sería más conveniente. Este Club Med se presenta como un hotel resort, pero las actividades y las áreas de actividades son extremadamente pequeñas. Solo hay una zona de juegos central para niños (los toboganes también son aptos para adultos, pero poco más). Si no viajas con niños, los adultos simplemente no pueden alojarse en el hotel durante varios días. Encontrar lugares de ocio es igual que en otros hoteles; no ofrece ninguna ventaja. Esta experiencia con Club Med me dejó muy decepcionado y probablemente no volveré. Si tuviera muchas otras opciones en China, con el mismo precio, categoría y ubicación, sin duda este hotel sería una prioridad menor.
