Está a unos 5,5 kilómetros del centro de la ciudad y del muelle en taxi, y el costo del taxi es de unos 25 dólares. La ubicación es un poco remoto y la relación precio/rendimiento está bien.

We absolutely adored our stay here! Amazing location - right by the train station and the ferry port and southbank is such a great spot with the bars, restaurants and beach by the river. The hotel was stunning with beautiful rooftop pool and decor throughout our room and main areas. We were just sad it was only 1 night! We didn’t want to leave. All the staff were amazing and food and drinks were delicious!

Had a wonderful stay at Pacific Hotel Cairns. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city with easy access to the Esplanade, night markets, and fun attractions like the Ferris wheel. Everything is within walking distance, which made exploring Cairns so easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Evenings around the area are lively, with great food options nearby street food vibes, and a beautiful atmosphere. Overall, a great place to stay if you want comfort, convenience, and to truly enjoy the Cairns experience. Would definitely stay here again!

El hotel es excelente y muy recomendable! ¡Afortunadamente estamos dispuestos a quedarnos en una habitación de esquina con vista panorámica! La única interrupción es el desayuno... que está mezclado con los otros dos hoteles y por debajo del estándar esperado.

Hay una plaza de aparcamiento gratuita en el centro de la ciudad, pero tengo que conducir un poco. Primero estacioné el auto en la calle trasera y luego caminé hasta el hotel. Room was pretty good, check in process was a little slow but staff were very apologetic, loved the info and links via text, unfortunately no wifi details were left on the desk (I didn't ask or complain tho cuz I had my own internet). The only real downer was I went to the bistro for dinner and the footy was on super loud and I really couldn't enjoy my meal and when I complained and asked if this was the bistro my concerns about how loud it was were completely dismissed. The also had a sports bar so I don't understand why the bistro had to be so loud. I thought it was a bit rich being charged $2 for a takeaway container despite the fact i couldn't sit and enjoy my meal due to the footy (qld teams weren't even playing either). Otherwise everything else was good.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The only downside was the room that I was given was on the top floor and the noise from either some sort of pump or the outside unit of the air condition was so overwhelming that I couldn't sleep well all night.

AMAZING location! Right in the center of everything: food, events, fine dining, river bank, beautiful gardens - very convenient to get around from here. Cool style, old-school colonial building. A few rough patches that could use a face-lift, but can defo still feel the wealth and power behind the design. Really comfy beds that you just melt into. Great AC and wifi. Beautiful marble and colonial style. Very helpful staff with lots of ideas and recommendations. Thank you, loved the stay
