Second time coming to T&C, but first time staying here. Classic saying of “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” applied to this visit. The property was nice, the beach (as usual) was immaculate with beautiful water…BUT that won’t change as you choose most of the accommodations on Grace Bay. Your overall experience however can change dramatically from choosing one property over the other. The grounds are kept very clean and neat, with lush perfectly landscaped gardens throughout. The ocean view suites are very spacious and nice. However… We came back from the beach our second day here and found that we had no running water at all. Called the front desk went back and forth for 10 minutes before maintenance finally came and told us that they had shut the water in our room off because the water heater had a leak, and now they wanted to come back and replace it. Less than ideal when you have dinner plans in 40 minutes and no running water after a day out. So we leave them to do their thing in the room and leave for the night. Come back around midnight and go to take a shower…water runs, but won’t get hot!!! We’re pretty pissed at this point and decide to sleep it off. The next morning we go down to the front desk, and a manager “escorts” us back to the room to feel the water as if we don’t know what hot water feels like only to say “yeah, there’s no hot water”…thanks so much for the ground breaking info! Maintenance comes back to the room again and says they need to work on the water heater….again. After a day and a half of no water/cold water we were given a fruit/cheese platter with a genetic “sorry for the inconvenience” note. At the end of the whole ordeal and a little back and forth we ended up getting a discounted rate for our last night and felt that was sufficient. Overall, we were happy with the property itself, and aside from the water debacle we had a nice stay. I’ll break down the cliff notes below: -Property: 4/5, just beautiful all around. Kept very clean and tidy. The only gripe I have is there’s not much relief from the heat in the way of AC. Your best bet during lunch is getting one of the seats at the beach bar so the fan hits you. -Beach: 4/5, kept immaculate. Crystal clear water and pristine white sand. The issue was the seating. The loungers were all placed so tightly together that you’re on top of each other at times. People get out early and take the front row then never return to their chairs all day. Very annoying especially when the front row is all gridlocked and you have to walk all the way around to get into the water. Not sure why the other resorts on the beach seem to have a nice pattern but here they couldn’t get it down. -Pool: 3.5/5, no frills but a nice size and was always kept clean. The swim up bar was nice to have although service was often very slow. (Island time to the max) same deal with chairs, people come out early throw towels down and never come back. Still easy to find chairs mid day though. -Room: 3

El hotel es relativamente caro en relación al servicio de All inclusive y a las instalaciones a las cuales les falta mantenimiento. La pileta es pequeña y no como se muestra en las fotos. A- Para destacar a) Hermosa playa con arena muy fina y zona muy limpia. Sin piedras, ancha y bien mantenida. Una de las mejores de la zona. b) Disponibilidad de toallas y reposeras en buen estado. No es necesario reserva previa como en otros hoteles B- Para reclamar o No conformidad absoluta: 1- Personal y atención a) El personal de servicio de bares y restaurant no son amables. No parecen motivados a atender a los turistas. Parece que te hacen un favor al prestar servicio mas allá de la amabilidad y agradecimiento con la cual yo he tratado a todos. (Hay excepciones de personal muy amable) 2 Habitación: a) - Las habitaciones no tienen una buena limpieza. Desde que llegue hay una cucaracha muerta en el baño y estoy contando los días que estará allí sin que la saquen para ir a reclamar . Significa que no hay una buena limpieza, b) La cama que nos asignaron es excelente. Confortable y limpia. c) La ducha del baño es tan pequeña que es imposible bañ****. Yo peso 50 kg y mido 1,53 mt y no puedo darme vuelta. Se moja todo el baño porque la mampara de la ducha no es hermética. d) No reponen las tazas que se utilizan en la habitación. Hay que reclamar todo. 3- Desayuno- Almuerzo-Cena a) El desayuno no ofrece una variedad de alimentos lógicos a un hotel All Inclusive. *La atención es pésima. Tienes que rogar para que te traigan un cafe. *Frutas solo Melon, banana, manzana y sandia. Desayuno básico y yo no soy una persona que come mucho ya que me cuido en la ingesta de calorías . No hay nada diet como yogurt, etc. *No hay variedad de quesos, fiambres y otros. b) Buffet : *No hay disponibilidad de sea food a pesar de estar en un lugar de playa. * No hay frutas disponibles excepto manzana, banana, naranja. Nunca vi una papaya, Mango, Kiwi, etc. Solo un mínimo de anana para un jugo. *No hay variedad helados. Solo 1 o 2 sabores para hacer tragos. 4- Restaurante: *Imposible reservar en los restaurant del hotel . Nunca hay disponibilidad aunque intente hacer reserva con tiempo. *La carta no se actualiza. Todos los días la misma comida. *El mas aceptable para cenar es Fish and Market c) Intentar utilizar los restaurant de hotel Blue Heaven (Pertenece a la misma cadena hotelera ). Mi estadia en el hotel a sido solo satisfactoria SOLO PORQUE LA ZONA DE PLAYA ES HERMOSA y mi prioridad era el mar transparente y area blanca.. Pero los hoteles colindantes disponen de la misma playa. No son ALL INCLUSIVE Y MAS BARATOS. Yo No volveria a este hotel salvo con niños y adolescentes para no estar pendiente de la comida. El hotel es muy agradable, las habitaciones son hermosas, las vistas son hermosas, la cama es muy cómoda, la presión de la ducha es increíble, el servicio es increíble, hay tan muchas cosas increíbles que ni siquiera sé dónde empezar. Hasta ahora he disfrutado de todo el alimento. Cuando llegué aquí mi habitación no estaba lista, así que fui a Zest y tenía el snapper rojo. 10 de 10 recomendar! Mi ama era Carlande, y la vi prácticamente todos los días que fui a comer. Era sorprendente y tan dulce!
