Remote while being close to amenities, dark sky
The Apostle Islands area is really great. This area is on the Lake and shore and feels remote while being very close to amenities. Dark sky, wild, worth a visit

Frog Bay and Beach a must
Walked trail at 8am no breeze. Lots of mosquitoes and flies. Small breeze would have helped. Trail is easy to follow. Lovely beach long enough for a good walk. Hidden gem.
