Stunning with such an inspiring story
The most absolutely stunning synagogue with a fascinating story of its construction. It is definitely a must see in Port.

Synagogue tour
Gorgeous building inside and out, very helpful and friendly stuff members. Gave us a tour even they were close. Beautiful museum with a lot of exhibits.

High Holiday in Porto
The synagogue was very welcoming and it was a lovely place to share Erev' Rosh Hashana. It is Orthodox, so women are upstairs and the service is all in Hebrew. Still, it was a lovely experience.

Great experience
Beautiful shul for Friday night services. It is traditional Sephardic so women sit upstairs don’t go if this bothers you. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was warm

Beautiful Porto synagogue
Beautiful synagogue, well maintained. Must see. Tiled walls. Interesting that they have both Ashkenazi and sefardic torah. Built in 1938, and community has grown in recent years
