This is a good place to start your adventure. Volunteer Matt gave us some good information on the history of Mendocino. Here, you will also see a fabulous model of the whole town of Mendocino.

helpful staff, a little bit of everything
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I enjoyed the hand made model of the town in the 1800's that takes up one whole room. Also a room full of botanical samples from the area

A must stop!
We had a great time listening to John tell us about the lumber mill and the history of the house and town. Don't miss it!
