this place was cool, we had alot of fun here. it was worth the time to stop and see this site, if you like civil war history

Remote but worth the trip
This national site is not easy to get to but is worth the effort. We were the only ones there. Very knowledgeable and helpful park ranger. Good video explains the history from 1686 to civil war. Nice ...

Not much to do
My family and I (kids - 8 and 11) stopped here. If you are looking for a place for kids to run and get rid of extra energy in the middle of no where, this is your place, but we weren’t real impressed....

Very nice!
A lovely place to experience both history and nature. It was a wonderful trip, and my six year old loved it! The visitor's center was closed, I'm assuming due to Covid, but we had a great time.
