The location is just nice. Great scenary, not too cold but not hot. It's windy when we were there. For me here one day trip is just enough as there is just a small area unless you want to stay for a night there. The room was spacious but no carpet - cold for out feet. We got an upgrade room but unfortunately the elevator not working to the first floor, they apologized to use by giving 10% off for food to bought there. Breakfast - we booked with breakfast , satisfied with many choices available and good taste too. For the restaurant around there- not really satisfied as not so much choices plus pricy compared to the food served. Brought my child to the rabbit farm and Japanese garden - it's free for those who stayed at the Colmar Tropicale.

Excelente servicio del amable equipo del hotel. ¡Fueron muy amables y serviciales! La habitación con vista al mar era agradable y estaba limpia. Hay una gran variedad de cocinas para desayunar, y me encanta que incluyeran una variedad de kuihs malasios, ¡lo cual me trae un toque de nostalgia! El servicio de habitaciones es un poco caro, pero vale la pena. La playa y la piscina también están limpias. En general, una estancia muy agradable y relajante.

It’s my second time staying in the hotel.  It’s a very nice and comfortable hotel. The room has a very nice view to the mountains and the pool.  The bed is very comfortable and the room is clean.  Only one thing that I would like to comment is no hand towels and just two big bath towels in the room.

Este es nuestro hotel favorito en Cherating, amamos la playa aquí con la mejor vista y sentimientos tan tranquilos. Lo que se puede mejorar es sólo la amistad del personal. Conozco este hotel reservado principalmente por la Empresa o el Gobierno para su programa o cualquier cosa. Nos esperan más. Pero nosotros como invitados pagadores podemos esperar más y hacernos caer en casa al permanecer aquí. Pero aún me encanta quedarme aquí y la próxima LaVilla. Espero que algo pueda crecer y volver aquí en el futuro. Y el cherating podría volver a ser los mejores lugares turísticos

An amazing mountain retreat. The scenery was absolutely stunning, especially the floating clouds over the hills. The room was cleaned, modern, and very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Great location with direct access via the link bridge to Genting Highlands short walking distance and very convenient. The host was quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. Definitely a perfect place to relax.

The homestay was beautiful, and the moment we opened the balcony, we were greeted with a stunning sea view. We arrived in the afternoon, and the tide was low at that time. We saw some tourists walking along the beach, so we joined them for a stroll. On the next day, just before checking out, we noticed that the tide had come in, and we even saw fishing boats heading out to sea. We were very satisfied with our stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Memorable Stay at Royale Chulan Villa Cherating We stayed at Royale Chulan Villa Cherating on Deepavali eve, and the experience was truly special. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to the Premium Villa, which came with our own private swimming pool — such a perfect touch for relaxation and privacy. That night, we enjoyed the Deepavali buffet spread, and it was excellent. There was a wide variety of dishes, flavourful and festive, making the dinner feel really meaningful and celebratory. The villa itself was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The private pool was definitely the highlight — peaceful, clean, and perfect for an evening dip. Overall, it was a memorable stay with wonderful service and thoughtful gestures. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing seaside villa experience with a touch of luxury!

The hotel is really great and located high up on the hill. From the room balcony, the view is beautifully foggy, which adds to the overall experience. The swimming pools are heated, with three pools available, which is a big plus. However, the mini waterpark is not heated. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and was very satisfying. There is also a 7-Eleven located just below the hotel, making it very convenient for snacks or essentials. The only downside is the road leading to the hotel, which is quite winding. It can be a bit challenging, especially at night or when it’s foggy. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and definitely worth it.

We stayed in a Dual Key Apartment featuring one balcony and access to an open Onsen session. The Onsen was well-maintained and clean during our visit, and we hope they continue to uphold these standards. The room itself was spacious and tidy, providing a comfortable experience overall.
