Always my go-to hotel whenever I go to Melaka. Love the amenities, convenience, food and service. However, this time round the check in staff wasn't so helpful in assigning me my requested high floor despite my early check-in processing first before getting the keys at 3pm. I approached her again at key collection time at 3pm, yet she dud nothing on my request. I wiuld say her service was too perfunctory and mechanical for a first contact point counter staff. This is not the same good service I used to received countless times from other past visits. Hope the managrment step up her training before she tarnish the hotel reputation.

A lovely heritage building tastefully refurbished - situated within a 15 minute walk from the centre of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Rome was clean and comfortable. Elegant lounge reminiscent of colonial times. Attentive and helpful staff at reception and restaurant - special mention of Mr Saddam at the restaurant and Miss Ei Ei at reception. A lovely place in which to stay when visiting Melaka.

Location is near to town by driving Open parking space provided, behind the hotel, near Portuguese settlement The service was ok. Welcome drinks are served but i think the tea isnt enough, so when we both arrived, we dont have it. But its fine. There are two quite similar room type, i booked the higher price one but i got it a two single bed room, then we asked the receptionist. They changed us to a double room but the room space isnt what we expected. Anyhow, we didnt change again. Then we started to unpack and look around, there are water leakage / unwipe water on the floor. And most important, the cupboard is fake on the left side and it dropped and hurt our fingers and toes.. but the right side has a small fridge? I dont understand the design or there is no remark on it… it is so dangerous! Then the bath tub, was fine, a lot of black stains on it. Honestly, we dont dare to enjoy ourselves in the bath tub. Also the shower head isnt stable! It keeps falling…. Omg.. we stayed for two nights and we feel like it wasnt worth RM670++ One and only time.. i wished to have a nice staycation but it makes us disappointed..

El hotel era bueno. Necesita una mejora ya que las instalaciones parecen desgastadas. El hotel tiene una segunda entrada y salida a Melaka Raya, ya que el semáforo en la entrada principal era terrible para salir a la ciudad. De lo contrario, tiene una buena relación calidad-precio.

Good location since very close to Jonker street. But buildings felt old, and very noisy at late night. Can’t sleep cause the loud sounds when vehicles passing by, especially motorcycles.

It was a pleasant stay at the hotel, it was during CNY, and coincidentally they have the lion dance, so it was fun to watch.

A truly wonderful stay for me and my family. We booked 3 rooms during CNY period. The location is excellent — very convenient and within walking distance to Jonker Street and nearby attractions. The hotel also provided free parking at nearby shoplot. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Overall, a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend.

The amenities provided were great and made the stay very convenient. My friends and I had a great time staying here. The place was comfortable and had a really nice atmosphere, which made it easy for all of us to relax and enjoy our time together.

Only the word 'excellence' could be used to described the services provided by the Duty Manager Mr. Azizie.He is definitely a very responsible person who pays great attention to my requests and helps solve the problems promptly. The second days I stayed at holiday inn, the hotel experienced AC malfunction, i told Mr Azizie the the temperature of the room rose to 33*C, he immediately despatched his maintenance team to fix the AC system in my room , and explained to me that it took some time for the temperature to go up as the cooling system just started running. He came to visit me twice to make sure we were doing ok. I really appreciated Mr. Azizie' professionalism and his work attitude.
