5* hotel booked to end our trip in style. Bar staff and cleaners were super happy, polite and love to great the guests in the hotel. Reception staff were generally unhelpful. I tried to book activities and excursions, but was initially told to go the hotel next door before being given a random book While trying to sort late check out one receptionist began serving another customer over my head. Late check out was eventually agreed to which was helpful but after being sat face to face in silence for minutes. Facilities are wonderful. Nice private beach, great pool area. Two bars and buffet style restaurant with ala carte option. Locals got charged significantly less for our event dinner. Some would say that's fair, others would disagree, but not being transparent probably suggests it was trying to be hidden. Service wasn't 5*. When we arrived our bedding was ripped and had a huge hole in it. Thankfully this was fixed, but I think atleast 2/3 people came to check before it was resolved.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel overall. The private beach is beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. The pool area is also great, very clean and well maintained. Breakfast each morning was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had strong AC, which made a big difference in the heat. The staff were very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. One thing to note is that we didn’t receive responses regarding booking tours through the hotel, even after following up. I would recommend arranging any tours or activities in advance to avoid inconvenience. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and appreciated the relaxing atmosphere.

La vista fuera de la ventana es excelente, puedes ver directamente la Torre del Loto. Su equipaje debe ser facturado en la puerta, por lo que la seguridad está garantizada. El personal del hotel es muy amable y responderá cualquier pregunta con paciencia. Especialmente las damas del hotel visten hermosos saris. El desayuno estuvo genial. El chico que hizo los pasteles de arroz nos saludó en chino cuando se enteró de que éramos de China. El chico que hace la limpieza también es muy agradable. También me encontré con la boda de un local al día siguiente~

¡Las instalaciones del hotel son completas y el restaurante es genial! Es sólo comida occidental. Hay un restaurante cantonés a un kilómetro de los alrededores, abierto por un nordestino. La decoración y el gusto son buenos y el precio es asequible. ¡Pertenece al centro de la ciudad y tiene transporte conveniente! Uber es muy conveniente, Sri Lanka es un gran lugar para viajar

Mount Lavinia Hotel used to be so good - not anymore. AC's dont work properly. Phones in room dont work, they give a mobile number to call instead. House keeping takes ages to come. Not the Great hotel we once knew anymore.

The hotel offers beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, spacious and well-maintained rooms, and a wonderful atmosphere that made our vacation memorable. The food was exceptionally well prepared, fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety. Every meal was enjoyable, and the restaurant staff ensured a pleasant dining experience. The bar team was equally impressive, providing outstanding service with professionalism and warmth. What truly sets Jetwing Sea apart is its people. Every member of the staff treated us like family, making us feel valued and cared for throughout our holiday. Location is great, just beside One Galle Face Mall. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Beautiful sunset views (from the bar, pool, restaurant, lobby) and Galle Face opposite the road. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Checked in Dec 30-Jan 2 peak season. Hotel was fully booked. Waited in the lobby for my room to be ready upon check-in. Front desk said they will find me to let me know. Waited for more than an hour before I asked them again and told me that my room has been ready. Ordered some room service which took more than an hour to be delivered. Granted they told me that it may take about 50 minutes because it was peak hours. Upon delivery they told me it was comped because of the long wait. Pool, restaurant, and bar staff are all great. Very personable and accommodating. Loved the sky pool on the 31st floor. No bar but not as crowded as the main pool. Breakfast was great. A lot of choices. Asian selection is great. Pastries not so much, some didn’t seem fresh. Heard from some staff that it gets super busy from around 9 but didn’t experience any long wait. Plenty of tables to accommodate people. Overall a great experience and will definitely stay here again if I’m in Colombo.

Fue una buena experiencia de alojamiento. Me alojé aquí en mi primera noche en Colombo. Soy un viajero. Antes de quedarme, vi críticas muy malas de este hotel en línea. Ahora el servicio es bastante bueno. ¿Quizás hubo demasiadas quejas y luego se mejoró? Vivo en el piso 23. La vista es bastante buena. Debe consider**** un piso alto. Hay una piscina infinita y un bar en el piso de arriba. Las bebidas en el bar no son muy buenas y los impuestos son muy altos. El menú no son los precios reales pagados. El registro de entrada y salida fue muy rápido. No desayuné en el hotel, pero tomé una taza de café en el vestíbulo y miré el paisaje fuera de la ventana. No es barato, pero vale la pena.

A nice, luxurious end to my first time in Sri Lanka. Room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the Lotus Tower, and service is extremely attentive. Breakfast was extremely diverse, and a server was eager to make local Sri Lankan recommendations which I really appreciated. However, the layout of the place is a little difficult, so be prepared to use a few different elevators to get around

Me encanta el balcón. La habitación es bastante grande. Pedimos servicio de habitaciones la mayoría de los días para el desayuno. Las porciones son enormes. Sin embargo, hable despacio al realizar el pedido porque se equivocaron en mi pedido un par de veces y tampoco enviaron cubiertos y salsas. La verificación tomó un poco de tiempo a pesar de que no había cola. La recepción parece estar ocupada con pequeñas charlas con un grupo de 4 o 5 cada vez que veo o cuando estoy en el vestíbulo. El WiFi fue excelente. En cuanto a la ubicación, no hay mucho en la zona. No hay tiendas ni lugares para comprar alimentos. Así que planifique antes de regresar al hotel. Hay una pequeña cafetería a la izquierda que sirve un té fabuloso (estilo indio). La piscina es maravillosa y, en general, la azotea es un lugar divertido para relajarse.
